LaGarrette Blount broke out in a big way with 120 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. The guy can’t be stopped around the goal line. Yeah, he cold cocked a guy, but all is forgiven when you score 2 touchdowns in a game. If he’s still available, grab him.

Welcome to week 8 all of you ghost and gobinly Razzballers. The scariest thing for us fake footballers (besides Todd Haley) is a sub .500 record and a rancid mass of undead bye week players. So I thought I would take a stab at some possible trade targets (not mass murderer targets). But before we get there we need 2 more to fill our last Razzball FanDuel League and if you haven’t entered our weekly contest then you oughta.
Please, blog, may I have some more?My injury report will cover both offensive and defensive players. I will focus only on those players relevant to fantasy football. If you have a player on your fantasy roster that you know to be hurt, but they do not show up on this list, then you should probably consider making a move.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Jonathan Stewart has the skills to thrill, but hasn’t been able to get on track this season. It looks like he’ll get his shot on Sunday with Deangelo Williams listed as doubtful and I don’t think that’s his state of mind, but it could be.
Please, blog, may I have some more?I’ve got a new fancy-pantsed gadget here that I’m trying out. Tell me whatcha think?
(Doc’s note: I’ve added all positions. You should be able to choose the position you want to see in the upper left)
Please, blog, may I have some more?Congratulations to Razzball commenter B-Lew for having the QB/RB/WR with the most points last week. Joe Flacco/MJD/Hakeem Nicks totaled 59 points. B-Lew also has his own fantasy site, take a gander — Fantasy Sports Circle.
Before we get to the contest, make sure you join up for our Razzball FanDuel Leagues – Razzball League 1 and Razzball League 2.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Quarterbacks
Start
Matthew Stafford: We’ve yet to see Stafford in his second season. Will we see something like his 400 yard, 5 touchdown performance against Cleveland last season or his 4 interception game against Green Bay? I’m figuring somewhere in between which is good enough for a decent fantasy game. The Redskins pass defense isn’t quite as poor as their numbers, but they also aren’t all that good.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Matt Schauf of RapidDraft.com stops by once a week to talk individual defensive players, “IDPs” for those in the know.
So, maybe Brian Cushing read the bit I wrote last week about Zach Diles moving to the middle for Houston and thought it sounded really stupid, because he apparently went to his coaches after the bye break and suggested he take over.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Congrats to Rgintowt, CFrancis, and myself for winning the three Razzball Leagues last week. Really, that last guy is just too cool for words, so I’ll stop talking.
We had a little trouble filling all three leagues last week so I just made 2 and we’ll see if there is interest for a third. Click and join Razzball League 1, Razzball League 2.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Tony Romo is possibly dunzo for the season, which is the opposite of good news for a lot of fake football teams. Jon Kitna will take over and should be a decent option if you are a Romowner. He’s no Romo, but if you can pair him up with one of the following you can get through this. Kitna also gets the Jaguars next week if you are thinking short term and nice matchups weeks 15/16. He has been handed one of the best offenses in the league and if his schedule was just a little bit better I would be picking him up as a non Romowner. Well, come to think of it, I might just do that. Suck it Cutler. If Romo is your sole qube I’d make room for 2 quarterbacks. There is nobody on the waiver wire who can really be counted on by himself.
