With the season over for a majority of people, we decided to look back and construct another team based on how the year went.

This team is made up of studs with ADP of 100 or greater. Without further delay, let’s meet the team.

It started off as a simple idea. We thought to ourselves ‘man, we have a lot of writers this year. Why don’t we all start a league together? Wouldn’t that be fun?’. And then a few weeks passed. And then a few more. And then a week before the season started we thought to ourselves ‘man, we have a lot of writers this year. Why don’t we all start a league together? Wouldn’t that be fun?’. Only the second time we followed through and in the end, twelve Razzball writers entered the yahoo league and only one left the victor. For your reading pleasure, we bring to you the Razzball Writers League that was, in their own words…

The finals have come and gone in most leagues. Hopefully many of you are celebrating championships. Inevitably, most aren’t. After looking at what happened in Week 16, we’ve put together the Fantasy Football Lumps of Coal Team.

This team could very well have been a legitimate starting team in the championships…and completely fell on its face.

The holidays are here and so are the finals. The best of both worlds have been put together in this festive piece about fantasy football and Christmas. Enjoy!

‘Twas the week of the Championships, with a game on Saturday
owners were up late figuring out whom to play.
The lineups would be set on the computers be them Windows or Macs,
and they tried to find a defense that could record some sacks.

With the 2012 Fantasy Football season drawing to a close, Doc decided to look back through his patients and make the first annual All-IR Team. In order to be eligible, a player had to be put on the season-ending IR and not the designated-to-return version that debuted this season.

“Everybody loves a winner!
Cause when it all begins
My eyes on the prize so it’s on again
I refuse to loose I ain’t gon pretend
I thought I told you I was born to win
Everybody loves a winner!

Victory I choose
Ain’t no turning back cause I paid my dues
I tighten up my laces when I tie my shoes
Born to win, I refuse to lose
Everybody loves a winner!”

It’s championship week in most leagues and hopefully, you’re still in it. Last week provided a very epic set of upsets and wacky results that could have shaken up your league’s playoffs. You know when New Orleans and its Swiss cheese defense throws a shutout that the unexpected will ensue.

At one extreme, I saw a 14-0 team that was rolling over teams all season long take a face-plant and lose by nearly 40 points in a standard league. I had an 11-2 team of mine get bounced out of an eight-team playoff by a 5-8 squad where the owner hadn’t looked at his lineup in months and got extremely lucky. Clearly, the meek might be inheriting the fantasy football earth.

By this week, you should know who you will be trotting out as your starters for this final game. However, if teams choose to rest some players you still need to have a backup plan in place. That’s what this edition of the waiver wire is about, calling for backup.

Keep in mind that there is no Thursday night game this week for the first time all season. The only game before Sunday is Detroit-Atlanta on Saturday. Availability is based on ESPN leagues and FAAB is basically whatever you have left.

At this time of year, everyone’s hurt. And the like the saying runs, “If you’re not hurt, you’re not playing.” You can imagine all the haggling with the insurance companies that the Doc has to do with these injury reports.

Let’s take a look at who’s all banged up and how they will impact you in your quest for fantasy victory.
