Why can’t we all just be friends? Random terror attacks all over the world is bad news. My neighbors, a family I had grown up with since I was 10 years old, were actually in Paris when the attack struck. Not fun times. Yesterday at a soccer game between Netherlands and Germany they had to suspend the game due to a potential terror attack. Freakin’ scumbags. I challenge y’all to a fantasy football duel, courtesy of draftkings, to settle this once and for all. There is a new Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, in case you guys were wondering. Apparently he is one of the most beautiful world leaders ever to grace this earth. I would like to see him face Tehol 1 on 1 down the runway, who can create the better Blue Steel. Picture that scenario in your heads right now. Do it. Now that you’ve had to change your pants, let’s talk some football.

Last week took a look at the Packers, and I told you to keep your hopes up. I hinted that Aaron Rodgers was still a sexy beast, his running backs would be useless and his receiving core would be fine with Randall Cobb leading the way. Well the Packers reminded me of the that tinder girl who uses pictures from many years ago that look real good, but when you get to your meeting spot, you can’t seem to find your her and are in shock about the way she looks when your date finds you. Another example would the ending of Shallow Hal. He did not look like his normal self. I would only start being concerned if he continues this slump for the next 2 weeks. Hold on my friends. The receiving corp is very volatile. Davante Adams seems to be ramping a bunch. He has 31 targets in the past 2 games. He and Randall Cobb I would own and start with confidence going forwards. James Starks is interesting; he is great for PPR moving forward, not great otherwise and there is always the chance that Eddie Lacy comes back to take his spot as the lead back. I would rate him as a low end RB2. Richard Rodgers is still only a Redzone target.

This week we’re gonna look at what feels like the most mysterious and underwhelming NFL division leader, the Minnesota Vikings. For a real football team, the Vikings are pretty balanced as their defense is very solid and their offense is well rounded too. It’s too bad that real football doesn’t necessarily translate to the fantasy world. Another fun fact, their first 9 games have been against terrible teams, only 1 game against a team above .500, the Broncos. Their remaining 7 games? Only two teams under .500, and one of them is Seattle. I expect them to go 2-5, 3-4 is the upper limit. Adrian Peterson is one of the only men on earth I would let **** my girlfriend and be happy about it. He is my #1 running back going forward, not much else to say. He is God.

AP is where the fun of this team ends. Teddy Bridgewater is a game manager and nothing else. He is averaging 1 combined running/passing TD per game, just over 200 yards per game and is at the BOTTOM of the league in pass attempts per game. His balls look shaky as well. He’s got good speed but doesn’t use his legs well either. He reminds me of the exact same QB he was last year. His stats are essentially Identical, maybe even a bit worse. Only own him in 2 QB leagues if you absolutely must.

The receiving corps is pretty average. It is tough for anyone to stand out when there so few targets to go around. With a QB that is playing jsut to manage the game to allow his RB and defense to dominate, you’re left with scraps. I would not own anyone except for Stefon Diggs. Diggs is a good talent but there’s just not enough passing game for him to show too much. On games where Teddy showers him with targets he might be useful, otherwise he is a WR3 play at best at this point. He had a good string to start his young career but has tailed off of late as teams have identified him and Bridgewater has continued to stink.
