I have a 16 team IDP draft on Wednesday night with the Roto Arcade posse so I’ve been updating the tiers and cajoling Drew to help me shore up some IDP strategy all while preparing to teach three classes and fly to NY for a wedding (one in which I will be sitting in the back drinking myself into a stupor while checking my Iphone for NFL tweets; hope my wife isn’t reading this).  Anyway, we are so close to football that I’m dreaming of Tony Siragusa botching the English language.

I tweaked the tiers a bit, but nothing too earth shattering.  #2 receivers on crappy teams are a pain in my ass, but a thousand puppies will die instantaneously if I don’t know who they are.  So you will see a bunch of receivers added to the tiers.  Live with it!

Here are just a few of the players I moved around.  Take a look.

DeAngelo Williams: With Stewart’s lingering achilles I moved Williams up past Chris Johnson because I always wanted to and that gave me a good excuse.

James Davis: His ADP will even out now that Lewis didn’t get cut so you should still be able to get him late.  Lewis won’t be the starter long, if at all.

Greg Camarillo: Well, my guy infatuation with Davone Bess has turned sour and now I’m selling Camarillo bars to raise money for my band trip to Saskatchewan. Camarillo looks like he will be the #2 receiver and has some decent upside.

Sidney Rice: Harvin is still green and Favre is purple, but needs an outlet over the middle.  Rice is his man for now.

Brandon Marshall: He’s been let out on probation.  Jabar Gafney is hurt.  1 + 1 = Marshall better get his shizz in gear.  He practiced with the team on Sunday and looks like he’ll play opening day.  I’m counting on it and moving him up the tiers.Mike Bell: He’s still an upside backup, but with a good shot of a big game week one.  If you have the flexibility grab him.

Jermichael Finley: Rodgers is going to pick apart defenses this year and Finley will be a part of that.

Jeremy Maclin: He could be the next DeSean Jackson which would be some pretty nifty drafting on the Eagles part.  He looks like he’ll have few more growing pains than DJax, but has the skills to make an impact this year.

Jerome Harrison: It’s been a roller coaster ride for Harrison on our Tiers.  I’ve liked him since the beginning of time, but he got hurt and big James Davis took the ball home and wouldn’t let Jerome play and of course there was old man Lewis sitting up there on his rocking chair yelling at both of them to get off his property, but since Lewis can’t seem to get out of his chair Harrison will play.

Shawn Merriman: Being the tough dude Merriman is I never thought he’d have to choke down Tequila.
