I hope everyone had a successful Week 1!  This week is filled with some big name adds and drops.  Hopefully your gamble will pay off, and one of these guys will lead you to Week 2 success.  Here are the Week 2 hot adds and drops from Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football…

Jake Locker (+29,953) – After throwing for 266 yards and 2 TDs, people are starting to drink the Kool Aid with Mr. Locker.  He has a fantastic home match up against the Cowboys this weekend.  If you need a QB, pick him up – he could pay immediate dividends for you.

Dwayne Allen (+39,222– Do you have Jordan Reed (I know I did in multiple leagues)?  If so, drop him and stream Mr. Allen for week 2.  He has big play ability (we saw it last weekend against the Broncos) and he is a red zone target.  I still am uneasy with teams that have multiple TE options, but he is definitely a better play than his counterpart, Coby Fleener.

Delanie Walker (+26,055) – If you need a TE and he is still available, snatch him up.  Walker is another big TE with red zone appeal and there isn’t anyone at the same position stealing his targets.  If you had Reed, get Walker – you can probably keep him in your lineup each week as your starting TE.

Josh Gordon (+19, 818– Really, he is still available in some leagues?

Allen Hurns (+34,666) – I know he had a fantastic stat line last week, but I am not quite ready to buy on him yet – he is a WR in Jacksonville.  I am still higher on Cecil Shorts III until Hurns strings together a few solid games.

Justin Forsett (+28,624) – After getting a chance to see the Ravens play Thursday night, I was impressed with their ability to run the football (or unimpressed with the Steeler run D).  There is some upside here, but it looks like it is a RBBC in the making.  Pick up Forsett and monitor the next couple of weeks.  If he is handling less than 15 touches a game, dump him.

Kansas City Defense (-39,695) – If you subscribe to the theory of one defense per roster, then it is definitely a good time to dump the Chiefs.  They play the Broncos this week and you can expect the ponies to put up at least three TDs.

Jordan Reed (-28,351) – I unloaded him for Charles Clay in one league and Larry Donnell in another.  Time to jump ship on this guy – there is no worse feeling than not having a player complete a game.  This guy leaves early regularly.

Maurice Jones-Drew (-23,624) – I subscribe to the theory of filling my roster with only players from the higher to middle scoring teams.  It is going to be a dreadful season for the Raiders and their offense looks to end up at the bottom of the league.  Don’t be fooled by his RB1 position – I would rather have either Forsett or Bernard Pierce in a RBBC than this guy leading the charge.
