It’s about time we wipe, scrape, and any other action one does to remove dust (probably more wipe than scrape, because if you’re scraping, that’s not dust man) from the place I call home: Razzball Football. Now that we’ve finally reached our own Fantasy Football preseason schedule, we should take a short time to reflect on what was your prototypical offseason… which was basically a draft, a free agency period, and then a great NFL black hole of nothing happening that sucks space-time so hard, I sometimes think about astrophysics when jacking off. (Coincidentally, this is also how I describe the time in between Game of Thrones seasons.) In what is probably one of the biggest slogs in any sport, the NFL offseason is now behind us and we can start talking about the important things in life. Like Rankings. Draft Strategy. Team previews. Real content! And yeah, jacking off. Which is also, technically, content. Regardless, the first order of business are our Rankings and here’s how it’ll all play out, just so you plan your life accordingly! And when I say your life, I really mean my life…

July 11th – Kickers

July 12th – Defense & Special Teams

July 13th – Tight Ends

July 14th – Quarterbacks

July 17th – Wide Receivers

July 18th – Running Backs

July 19th – Top 200 Standard

July 20th – Top 200 Half-PPR

July 21st – Top 200 PPR

And don’t worry, we’ll have our usual draft content sprinkled in during this time, along with our Razzball Commenter Leagues sign-up period, projections, auction values, so stay tuned! Football… and Fantasy Football is right around the corner.

    Greetings Jay, I’m getting back in the swing of things for 2017!

    I have an espn league that’s .5 PPR , we can keep Max any two players

    One player who of course I’m keeping is David Johnson, that being said who should be my 2nd keeper?

    Dez Bryant? Keenan Allen? Melvin Gordon? Ameer Abdullah? Doug Baldwin?

    Thanks jay!

      @bobbys world: Ohhhh man, this is super tough. I actually think sowing up your RBs might be an option here, with Johnson and Gordon, you might even be able to snag one of Bryant or Allen back… or something equal. That’s probably the way I’d go.

        @Jay:

        Thanks man! Super tough indeed but I agree with pairing Gordon with DJ. If this matters/helps, we have a set in stone draft order out of 10 members I’ll be picking 9th.

        Keeper selections are dedicated for rounds 1 & 2 then snake starts round 3. If I had a top 3 pick maybe I’d just keep DJ & see who’s not kept for me to draft but with me towards the end of the round I should lock up my RBs, also forgot to mention I also have nuk Hopkins too

          @bobbys world: Yeah, I like this strat even more now. Great problem to have though… love that combo.

            @Jay:

            Or lol sorry so many Q’s would you do a pre keeper lock date trade Melvin Gordon for Davonte Freeman? Or stay & roll Gordon? Who are other options if you were trading for someone to basically keep ? Lamar miller? Gurley?

            Overall when it’s all said & done illl roll with DJ & Melvin as my keepers

            I know it depends who’s available at the 9 spot when the snake starts strategy wise what kind of player to target? Best overall regardless position? Best /Top WR? Or another RB?

              @bobbys world: No worries man, that’s what we’re here for! (And sorry I missed this one till now.) I would hold on Gordon there. I like him right now over those options. And I’d say best overall, but hope that player is WR.
