2013 RCL FootballWeek 2 has wrapped up with another huge week of RCL Football action.  If you haven’t seen it yet, we’ve got the full interactive 2013-2014 RCL Standings tab up under “Leagues” that shows you how you’re stacking up against the Razzball competish in your journey to RCL glory.  It ranks teams by RCL points, which is the gold elixir of truth determining the RCL winner.  If you are confused by the scoring parameters, scroll down to the bottom of the standings for a full explanation.

RCL Top ScorerTOP SCORER: Congratulations to Chris Schultz’s Team for putting up the most RCL points this week.  Leading through Sunday as well and getting the Podcast shout out, Schultz dumped all over The Shituation Room with 213.56 points in a nearly 120-point defeat over the meat curtains.  What are these curtains, Vegan?  Disgusting!  Schultz’s entire roster came through with the only single-digit scorer his kicker, with big games from DeSean Jackson, Julio Jones, Jimmy Graham and Marshawn Lynch.  Unfortunately for Schultz, he only moves into third place after a brutal week 1 where he didn’t top 100 points.  One Potato Two moves into first place and will look to go to 3-0 against one of the multiple Heisenberg squads.  There’s just so much bad breaking!  Awesome job this week Chris, and hopefully your guys keep it up into week 3!

Razzball Writers League – Guru’s The Dirty Turban’s took the top spot in scoring this week, evening up his record at 1-1.  Your main man right here moved into 2nd place and 2-0 after toppling Bet The Farm, but early favorite Loudon takes a big 60 point lead at 2-0 led by those high scoring Eagles Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy.  In a big early season matchup, I take on What No IDPs? and the Kevin Kumpf’s in an epic battle of 2-0s.  You’re going down, Kev!

JB’s Random Commenter League – The big man right here got his first win toppling on of the mighty Heisenberg teams and moving to 1-1 and 7th place.  Give it up to RotoZak for leading the league in scoring this week led by Julio and the menacing Seattle D.  Only 0.04 points separate Aaron’s Murder Boner and Freaks and Geeks from the top spot.  Look out Jack Full of Hate, I’m going up to 2-1 and murder boning you this week!

Razzball Rebels – A huge week 2 from Gavros who put up 188.30 to move to 1-1.  Led by the huge games from Packers’ Aaron Rodgers and James Jones, Gavros also got a huge flex performance from DeSean Jackson.  The latter part of that sentence sounds weird!  The Purple People Eaters moves into first place at 2-0 and gets to face none other than those elite scoring Gavros to try and hold onto the league lead.

Pabst & Razz – A very even week across the teams from the Pabst league, with the top 3 scorers all within two points of each other this week.  Narrowly edging out the most points were those darned Boosh Bags lead by Vick and Dez Bryant.  Gravity Well slides into first and gets a tough early season test against ラーメン who scored the most points in the Pabst league in week 1.

A League of RCL Thrones – Another tight race atop the top scorers in week 2, team Breezus took top honors with a 164.80 point week led by Dez and Jimmy Graham.  The Hound takes a big lead into week 3 and looks to move to 3-0 against Smokin’ a Blount.  Pass the ganja!

In-A-Gadda-Da-Wheeden – A big week for Stan Gable who moves to 2-0, took the top spot in the league, and led the league in week 2 scoring led by the dynamic Aaron Rodgers/Randall Cobb combo and big supporting games from Mike Wallace and Knowshon Moreno.  Stan looks to move to 3-0 against the BarkingBassetHounds this week.

Rancho Rajneesh – By a ridiculously narrow 0.18 points, week 1’s RCL top scoring ReadOptionForDummies lost out leading the league in scoring back-to-back weeks to the very awesomely named Ra’zball Al Ghul.  Early fan-favorite name for me right now.  Go Al Ghul!  Led by Marshawn Lynch and Seattle’s defense, Ra’z moves to 2-0 and gets a light matchup against the 0-2 Van Buren Boys to try and catch up to the massive amount of points ReadOption has stacked up after that huge week 1.  Despite not leading the league in scoring in two straight weeks, ReadOptionForDummies takes an early RCL Points lead in the 2013-2014 master standings.

RCLBBWSVU – Two huge weeks from Anal Chiropractor and Sheriff McRawDawg both topping 190, but top marks for the doctor (I guess – yikes!) who put up 195.56 led by huge games from Dez, DeSean, and James Jones.  Despite the second most points in the league, the Chiropractor moves to third place at 1-1, with the Sheriff moving into first place at an undefeated 2-0.

My Wife Frowns Upon This – Another tight week in the Frown league, Sex Panther By Odeon moves into first place with the highest scoring week 2 highlighted by big games from Graham and Marshall.  In a huge early season test, Sex Panther takes on 2-0 and third place If You Ain’t First for early-season supremacy.

Monday Morning QB’s – Scoring was topped by the HUSKERS led by the Eagles big combo of Vick and DeSean.  In one of the tightest leagues, kitchen stinks is the only team to move to 2-0 while the poor Fyrfyter sinks to 0-2 with 10 1-1 teams.  Kitchen stinks looks to move to 3-0 against the Fighting Scottish to take a commanding lead, but will have to topple William Wallace!

Cracklin’ Brats RCL – The only team to top 150, the BEB squad put up 161.38 and moves to 2-0 led by Marshawn Lynch and Randall Cobb.  With this week’s big game, BEB moves into first place and will look to hold onto the league’s top spot against the 0-2 Cursing Sloths in week 3.

Bobby Boucher’s Water Bottle – Huge week from Dougie Fresh’s Team, one of the select few teams that’s been able to put up 200 so far this year with a 201.86 point outing led by Megatron and Packers wideouts Nelson and James Jones.  The win puts Dougie in third place at 1-1 with the second most points in the league.  The top team Gridiron Gangstas will hope to keep the gangbanging going and move to 3-0 against Fumilingus.

The Podcast Kingdom – Creative Chaos takes the top spot this week with a 161.28 point outing led by Randall Cobb and a lot of steady performers.  Chaos moves to 1-1, but my homeboys Will and the Pirates take a commanding lead moving to 2-0 and more than 50 points ahead of the field.  Go Pirates!

Nick’s Bad JB Impersonation – In one of RCL’s highest-scoring games, top scorer Straight Cash Homey led the league in scoring for the second straight week, defeating this week’s second highest scoring Pop’s Perfect Team 184.60-172.22.  Cash, led by Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson and Jamaal Charles, barely toppled Pop who didn’t quite get enough from Megatron and Graham.  Straight Cash will look to hold onto the league’s #1 spot and move to 3-0 against Black Pew General.

Any Given Sunday – Living up to their namesake, Jedi Mind Tricks led the league in scoring with 191.42 points toppling week 1’s top scoring Stafford Infection.  With big games from Vick, Julio Jones and Randall Cobb, Jedi and his huge knockers will look to move to 2-1 and get closer to tops in the league in week 3.

Booty Hunters Unlimited – For the second straight week, Suck For Luck takes the top scoring position in the Booty league, leading the league in scoring by nearly 70 points through the first two weeks.  Huge starts to their seasons from Vick, DeSean and Brandon Marshall have Suck looking like a juggernaut.  In what should be a cakewalk to move to 3-0, Suck gets last place Pughnitive Damages, who will look to move out of the cellar against one of the RCL’s elite teams thus far.

Take On Jaywrong – In a very tight race for top scoring honors, five of the six winning teams finished within 10 points of each other, with Jagen H’ghar, aka the coolest character in Game of Thrones, taking top scoring honors with a 157.10 point week led by DeSean and Jimmy Graham.  JayWrong’s Hand Schaub moved to 2-0 and is still in command of his league in first place.  Go JayWrong!

Murphatron’s RCL – Another very tight league with bunched scores, Murph turned it around after an embarrassing week 1 loss to lead his league in scoring with 157.10 points this week.  Bounce backs from Mike Wallace and Lamar Miller has Murph a Dolphins fan yet again.  The Doughrollers move into first place even though the Cuddly Penguins has more points, sinking down to 1-1 after leading the league in scoring in week 1.

The Razzbro League – Top scoring honors went to Girl Toy’s Team, who moves to 1-1 after putting up 156.92 this week led by Cobb and Charles.  The standings are extremely tight with the Belligerent Beavers moving into first place by only 0.20 points over the Bearded Meat Muffins.  Lots of alliteration there!

Take On Jaywrong 2 – Despite this league not going as good for JayWrong as Take on Jaywrong 1, Jay is still 2-0 after squeaking out a close win.  Atop the league, two big weeks from Pipe Hittin’ &@*#$ (this is a family site! Ok not really) and Release the KRAKEN! led the league in scoring only 0.10 points apart, with the KRAKEN taking top honors.  Release it indeed!  Led by Vick and Jimmy Graham, the KRAKEN moves to 1-1.  Week 1’s top scoring Fish’s Official Team moves into first place and will look to make it 3-0 against heavy underdog bottom-place The Big Tebowski.

Razzball Experts League – The Rushmore Beekeepers trounced the experts this week, putting up 182.80 led by Rodgers and Graham and move into first place in the league.  Despite a nice bounce back week, Sky and team Razzball fall to 0-2 and 11th place.  I’m cheering for ya Sky, let’s turn this around!

The Shadynastys – Frequent commenter PreZi reached the upper RCL pantheon with a 200-point week with 201.30 points led by Rodgers, DeSean and that Seattle D.  Nice work, Prez!  He moves to 1-1 and 4th place while Gtoxitis moves into first place.  And wouldn’t you know it, Prezi faces off against Gtoxitis with early-season ramifications in a week 3 throwdown.

One More RCL – Devastation Squad Jr lived up to his name in week 2, leading the league in scoring with 169.22 points led by big games from Julio and Mike Wallace.  Despite the big week, Kobayashi Maru takes over first place and gets a tough matchup against week 1’s top scoring and third place Jay Feely is my QB for early-season bragging rights.  Told you not to play Feely as your QB, Jay!

Hernandez Hit Men (formerly Razzball) – Having a more unique league name is just so much more fun, right Fish?  Raynor Shine led the league in scoring this week with 164.92 points led by Julio and the big game from Martellus Bennett.  Another very tightly bundled league, scott’s team moves into the first place as the only 2-0 squad despite fewer points than 6 of the 1-1 teams.  He’ll look to prove he’s not taking advantage of his soft schedule with a win against the Van B Boys to move to 3-0.

Shoot your RCL smack talk below and thanks again for joining the RCL Football Leagues this year.  Good luck in week 3!
