After a fantastic week 2 of NFL action, Nick and JB break down week 3′s matchups with our amended views on players and more bold predictions about just how bad Chris Johnson is right now.
Nick also gives JB some French lessons, which in a typical American fashion, JB doesn’t understand foreign languages.

14 team, +.5 PPR
Pick 2 to play at TE/FLEX….Pettigrew, Martellus Bennett, or Brandon Gibson.
@Adam, Gimme the big boys… Panthers often have trouble vs. TEs, the Pats TEs destroyed Tennessee’s defense week 1, like them the best.
with nicks out tomorrow ramses barden might be a decent sneak play in deeper leagues
@Trevor, I like the logic, but you just never know with the replacement guys even though I know Nicks and Hixon are out. Plus the Panthers secondary has shown some strength this year, not saying I think they do much to limit Manning, but I wouldn’t want to start him even in deep, deep, deep leagues.
Haha I know that a main point in Fantasy advice here is “RB Depth!!” but I have a team where I think I’ve kinda gone overboard with it and pondering some possible trade moves
10 team, non PPR, Standard Yahoo Scoring. Really Early Draft so I picked up a lot of great guys later than normal.
QB: Matt Ryan
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Hakeem Nicks
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Doug Martin
TE: Jimmy Graham
K: Garrett Hartley
DEF: Houston
Bench: Stevan Ridley
Bench: Alfred Morris
Bench: Kevin Smith (Leshoure on waivers)
Bench: Michael Bush
Bench: Reggie Wayne
Should I be looking to do a bunch of 2 for 1 or 2 for 2 where I get the best player packages with RBs/WRs? Or would you still recommend me staying put with all my RBs?
@Eric, Geeeeeeeeeez, who’d you draft with, Hockey fans trying fantasy football for the first time to have something to pass the time during the NHL lockout? Great roster there, there’s not really any holes. With Nicks out, you have Wayne. I think you stay put with this roster, I like both Ridley and Martin for the rest of the year, and I don’t think anyone will give you a stud. I think you hold onto your depth and continually field the best team even in bye weeks. Making a trade for a slight upgrade in one position is only gonna help whoever you trade these guys too and not hurt them since every other team is probably looking for depth. If you don’t go 16-0 this year and sweep to your championship I will be upset! Haha.
@Jonathan Gilpin, Haha thanks a lot for your advice!
I’d be hard pressed to find anyone who wouldnt take 7 catches for 123 yards through 3 quarters.
@Trevor, I’d be hard pressed to find anyone who thought that would be his stat line! Great call by you man, I didn’t buy it, you got me :)
