Jonathan Stewart has the skills to thrill, but hasn’t been able to get on track this season. It looks like he’ll get his shot on Sunday with Deangelo Williams listed as doubtful and I don’t think that’s his state of mind, but it could be. The Rams are giving up 4.6 yards per carry and their pass defense is their strength, so The Daily Show should get his work in. He’s a must start.

Before we get to our notes for the day, we are trying to fill our last Razzball FanDuel League so give it a clickety click and see what’s up.  And be sure to pick the best QB/RB/WR for the week in our Week 8 Contest and win!

Steven Jackson: He says he will go and I believe him. The Panthers have been gashed in the run game the last 2 weeks and I don’t see SJax not getting his usual 100 yards and hopefully a TD.

Beanie Wells: The Whiz has finally come to his senses and has named Christopher Wells his starter.  Feel good about starting him against the Bucs who give up a league high 5.3 yards per carry.

Chris Ivory: Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush are both out for the Sunday night game. Of course the Steelers have been insane against the run so it’s hard to recommend Ivory. With Aaron Smith out, there is a chance he could have a little more running room, so if you are desperate there is a glimmer of hope there.

Ladell Betts: He’s been a good source for PPR points and since they will be throwing a lot against the Steelers I see him racking up a goodly amount of receptions. He makes a decent bye-week ppr fill in.

Joseph Tamme: At first I thought we would see more of a committee at TE in Indy, but it looks like Tamme is going to be the clear cut starter. I’m leaning toward giving him a shot against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. His upside with Manning throwing to him outweighs the risk.

Antonio Gates: He practiced today and you saw what he did last week when he was hurting. Get him in your lineups and forgedaboudit!

Danario Alexander: Well, his knee is going to get cut into once again for a clean up. That’ll be five surgeries on that knee which is sad for such a talented player. He’ll be out a few weeks and is droppable in re-draft leagues.

Donald Brown: He says he would play if the game was today so it looks like he will go. There is a good chance he will split time with Mike Hart and it could be that dreaded “hot hand” kind of committee. I’m not high on either, but if you are desperate I’, leaning Brown over Hart.

Dexter McCluster: He is out with a high ankle sprain and could be for a couple weeks. This is probably more helpful to JC Superstar than Tom Jones, so feel even better about getting Charles in your lineup.

Vincent Jackson: He’s officially signed his tender and will start practicing and be ready to play in week 12. With the state of the Chargers receivers he is looking better and better to make a big impact once he returns. If you have room make sure he’s on your team.

James Starks: If you are keeping him on your bench it’s probably time to drop him. The news isn’t too optimistic for him to get on the field anytime soon.

Chester Taylor: He is penciled in as the Bears goal line back which hurts Matt Forte, but Forte wasn’t scoring from the one yard line anyway.
