Pass Defense Matchups –

Rush Defense Matchups –

From Around The Web

    I’m retarded.

    Are these rankings for defenses or offenses?

  2. Doc

    @El Famous Burrito: The team in yellow and the corresponding rankings are at top defense against the pass and then against the rush. So, TB is ranked last against the run, which gives Gore a great matchup. NYJ/PIT are ranked first against the run which gives Foster and DMC tougher matchups, and so on . .

  3. Black Beard says:

    I am also somewhat mentally challenged. Are the Jets the top ranked or the worst pass defense?

  4. El Famous Burrito says:

    Thanks, Doc.

    I figured as much, but if I had it backwards, my whole week could go to shit real quick. Appreciate it, Hoss.

  5. Doc

    @Black Beard: The Jets are ranked first in Rush defense and 17th in Pass defense.

    Have to pick 2 out of these 5 for my flex position. Which 2 do you like?

    Ronnie Brown, Blount, Michael Bush, Snelling, Javarris James

  7. Doc

    @yoshi: Brown/Blount

  8. yoshi says:

    Freeman or Bradford? Zach Miller or Grownkowski?

  9. stumanji says:

    Who do you like for this week/rest of year between Cutler, Cassel, Kitna, or Hill?

  10. DDT says:
    (link)

    Doc,

    Who do I start at my WR/FLEX this week: M. Williams (TB) or M. Floyd?
    I’m starting Megatron and Bowe in my other WR slots.
    Thanks~

    Yahoo is saying Romo might be back for the last 3 games because Garrett wants to win as many as he can this season so he gets the head coaching job for next year. You believe it? I picked him up in 3 leagues today based on that speculation.

  12. Doc

    Doc says:

    @yoshi: Freeman/Miller

    @stumanji: That is tough. I’m going with Kitna, but I’d rather have 2 of them to play matchups.

    @DDT: Williams

  13. Randy says:

    Jacoby Jones. Any hope going forward? I need to drop him or Deion Branch? Branch has had 2 good games when healthy and Jacoby has looked terrible but I do get 1 pt for 20 return yards. Which would you keep?
    Thanks

  14. Doc

    @emceeperiod: Sure is a possibility, but Jerry Jones will probably have more say than Garrett. I think it will depend on his health more than anything.

  15. DDT says:

    Doc,

    Drop Knox for Tolbert?
    I have Megatron, Bowe, Williams, and Floyd & VJax on my bench.
    My healthy RBs are AP, Foster, and Forte.

  16. friar says:

    I’ve been offered LT for Bowe. My team could really use an upgrade at RB (I have McCoy, Torain, BGE, and Keiland Williams), but I’m worried about LT going forward; he seems to be slowing down and Greene has been getting more involved. I can afford to give up Bowe if it truly upgrades my RB situation, since I’ve got some decent WR depth (AJ, Austin, Bowe, Washington, Smith (CAR) – we start 2 RB, 2 WR, and a flex, so I’ve been using 3 WR most weeks but could switch to using just 2). The other guy also has Rice, Bradshaw, and Moreno, so I’m thinking of making a counter-proposal.

    Of those four running backs (Rice, Bradshaw, Moreno, and LT), how would you rank them going forward, and which of them is the minimum I should insist on getting in exchange for Bowe?

  17. Shippity says:

    Am I really going to start Tolbert over Moreno at flex this week?

    – also am I the only one that’s been momentarily hypnotized by the “Trick of a tiny bell” ad?

  18. herschel says:

    @Doc: who to start at flex in a PPR league?

    c benson vs buf
    s moss @ ten
    m crabtree vs tb
    d bess vs chi

    thanks.

    I’m not sure if I should hold onto Hernandez or start playing TE matchups starting this week. Since I kept him over Tamme, who I would have gotten with my waiver, it feels like I have to hold onto my mistake. Also against Hernandez besides the flakiness is his schedule which is not the best for TE. ( IND DET NYJ CHI GB ) I could start with Boss or Gresham this week. I just don’t know if I should give Hernandez one more week ( but I would still be afraid of him putting up another 0 during playoffs).

  20. luxton says:
    (link)

    @doc who should i start?

    Green Ellis or Moreno
    Hill or Matty Ice
    Davis or Tamme

    Thanks again

  21. Doc

    Doc says:

    @DDT: Unless you need Tolbert to start this week I don’t think you need to. Mathews will be back at some point and hurt his value.

    @Shippity: I could see it, but I still like Moreno a little more.

    @Randy: Not a ton of hope. Don’t like Branch much, so I’d probably stick with JJ.

    @herschel: Crabtree

    @MJD Took A Knee: Yeah. That is a hard decision. I think Boss might be the safest play there.

    @luxton: Moreno, Hill, Tamme

  22. paul says:

    Zach Miller looks good to go this week, so he’d be the start over say, someone like Gronkowski? Thanks!

  23. jish says:

    I’ve got R. White. What other 2 wr’s should I start? N. Washington, S. Holmes, Garcon,Maclin or J. Ford?

  24. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @paul: Yep

    @jish: Holmes, Garcon

  25. David says:

    So how much weight do you give to matchups? My conundrum is that my best RBs are facing the stiffest defenses. I’m deep at RB in a 10-team league, but for example do I bench Arian Foster who has the #1 Jets as an opponent, in favor of Felix Jones who has the relatively benign Lions?

    My RBs are Foster (vs #1 Jets), S Jackson (vs #5 Falcons), FJones (vs #14 Det), RRice (vs #22 Car), or Addai (vs #23 NE). I can start 2 at RB and 1 as a flex. What should I do?

  26. RomanRod says:
    (link)

    Who should I start at QB? Big Ben or Matt Ryan?

  27. Doc

    Doc says:
    (link)

    @David: That is tough. I Would probably sit Jones.

    @RomanRod: Ben
