Congrats to Razzballer Emceeperiod for taking first place and 75 green backs in our Super League last week.  I thought I’d go back to the 10 team leagues this week.  Join them here — League 1, League 2, League 3.

Here are my initial thoughts for my team this week —

QB Michael Vick: He is very expensive in FanDuel, but he has a great matchup against the Dallas pass defense and he is easily the safest bet for a big helping of fantasy points out there.

RB Peyton Hillis: Buffalo is very good at giving up yardage to running backs and Peyton Hillis has been very good at gaining yardage against defenses.

RB LaGarrette Blount: Last week the Redskins gave up 200 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns to Brandon Bradshaw and Mr. Blount racked up 100 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons who hadn’t given up a 100 yards rushing or a rushing touchdown since week 2.  These two statistical storms shall collide into a game of magnificent proportions!

WR Desean Jackson: He is overdue for a big game. I can’t say I’m a fan of the talk of his avoiding contact and not wanting to return punts and being an all around wuss bag, but he still wants to get paid and he’s had a few down weeks (for him at least) in a row.  Dallas has played better lately, but Vick is a different kind of QB.

WR Greg Jennings: He’s been on a tear and Rodgers and he get to play on the indoor carpet of Ford Field.  I don’t see Aaron Rodgers not getting him the ball.

WR Seyi Ajirotutu: Going with Vick and Hillis means I have to skimp in a couple slots.  This is one of them, but I think as long as Vincent Jackson is out I like The Seyi Kid for at least one long touchdown.

TE Ed Dickson: This is a very risky pick, but the matchup and price fit my needs.  As long as Todd Heap is out I like Dickson to have a good game against a poor Texans defense.

K Matt Prater: I’m following my “start any kicker against the Cardinals” approach which has been working very well for me this season.

D Denver Broncos: The Broncos defense hasn’t been much to talk about this season, but we’ve already seen two other teams play inspired football after their head coaches were dumped and this game will feature John Skelton at the helm.
