When looking back at this season it was a little harder than I expected to find quarterbacks and running backs who were insanely great waiver wire finds. Of course wide receivers are usually the easiest position players to find waiver gems and we’ll see them in the next installment but running backs often have the biggest impact in fantasy and often get hurt which leads to waiver greatness. Please, blog, may I have some more?

Week 13 is a big one, folks. The margin for error with lineups at this point in the season is minuscule. Early in the season, it wasn’t a critical risk to give a young wide receiver a shot in your starting lineup (for your sake, I hope it was Victor Cruz), but with playoff berths and first round byes on the line, every decision made could determine your fantasy future. Welcome to week 12 everyone. This is where I usually lament the speediness in which the NFL season has flown by but I’ll try to refrain (as I type through the uncontrollable sobbing) and get straight to the fantasy footballness. We are so close to the fake football playoffs that we can taste it and today’s games are pretty darn important for a lot of us (and taste a little garlicky). Please, blog, may I have some more?

Hyperbole.  It’s what makes sports single-handedly the most important aspect of life for all time, ever.

But seriously, we sometimes get our sports overly laden with hyperbole to the point where you just shake you head and say, “Come on.”  Unfortunately though, I feel it’s staring to pop up across other segments of news with more frequency as well. Please, blog, may I have some more?
