Alright, let’s cut to the chase and look at some stats and the favorable matchups that go along with them this week:
Chris Johnson vs. CAR
Finally we see Chris Johnson in the must start category, 10 weeks too late it seems. But recently, CJnoK has shown some flashes of potential with 110 total yards against a pretty stingy Bengals defense. His increased workload from weeks before is a good indicator that the team is putting the trust back in Johnson and it couldn’t come at a better time. Carolina gives up the most fantasy points to opposing RBs and is second to last overall against the run. Have faith that CJ can return to form against the shaky Panthers DEF.
Willis McGahee vs. KC
If last week’s showing wasn’t enough to convince you that McGahee’s still got it, then you shouldn’t have him on your team to begin with. John Fox has truly gone back to form with his run first mentality in Denver and it should pay big dividends for Tebow and McGahee this weekend. The Chiefs are allowing the 5th most points to backs this season and just over 120 rushing yards per game. He might not reach the massive numbers he did last week, but expect the veteran to do his part against the stumbling Chiefs.
Reggie Bush vs. WAS
As of late, Bush has been performing at his best with averaging an astounding 6.4 yards per carry over his last four games. This week he faces a more daunting defensive front with the Redskins, but he should still see 15-20 carries which could turn into a big day for Reggie. I would certainly consider him a good flex option this week as Washington has allowed over 122 yards a game and 4.5 yards per carry.

As you will find every week, there are those who face difficult and unfavorable matchups. Just weigh all your options before you start the following RBs:
Rashard Mendenhall vs. CIN
Mendy’s workload has been decreased by 35% this year with the Steelers passing the ball left and right. This has in-turn destroyed his production in terms of Fantasy Football. He is still averaging about the same ypc as he was last year, but he just isn’t getting nearly as many carries. This week he faces a tough front at Cincinnati and his work could be cut out for him. His only saving grace this week will be if he gets the goal line scraps left over from Pittsburgh’s air game.
Marshawn Lynch vs. BAL
I am not sure if anyone is actually thinking about starting the Beast against the Ravens this week, but I would advise against it. Although he has scored in his last 4 games and peeled off a big showing at Dallas, I fear that this will be a similar Marshawn that we saw against Cincy in week 8 (16 carries, 24 yards). He did get a touchdown, but Baltimore has only allowed 3 rushing TDs this season and only allows 86.8 yards rushing a game.
