Welcome to Week 10 of the NFL season. It’s been over 2 months since week 1. Huh? That can’t be right. I am going to protest this unabated movement of time. It’s unconstitutional. As I paint my “Stop Time” signs you should check out some injury news and linkage. Ok? ok.

The abuse that happened under the nose of Penn State coaches and administrators has made the whole country sick. And if you read the grand jury report you may have trouble sleeping at night. Sadly this crime happens all of the time. Go here to help out by donating to prevent sexual abuse.

Injury News:

UPDATED: Desean Jackson is OUT today.

Mario Manningham and Hakeem Nicks: Both are game time decisions and Manningham was a late addition to the injury report after waking up with swelling. The Giants take on the 49ers in an afternoon game so make sure you have a backup plan if either can’t go.  Any way you look at it this boosts Victor Cruz’s value. And if both end up sitting it would give Ramses Barden a big boost as well.

T.J. Ward: The Brown’s strong safety is out 4-6 weeks with a bum foot which really weakens the Browns rush defense. That is a good thing for Steven Jackson.

Mark Ingram: He’s back and listed as probable. He’ll be a bit of a desperation start coming off injury, but if you gotstuh yuh gostuh.

Andre Johnson: He’s going to take the bye off to get fully healed up. He should help a lot of teams in the fake playoffs.

Ahmad Bradshaw: He is still out. There are no plans for surgery right now according to Coughlin. That doesn’t sound all that reassuring. I’d buy B. Jacobs especially after what should be a down game against the Niners.

Percy Harvin: He wasn’t even listed on the injury report! Woo hoo! Start him.

Jason Hanson: He’s hurting but will play. Might as well grab a healthy kicker even though Hanson has been very good this season. I’m leaning Josh Scobee in my FanDuels.

Mark Clayton: He’s back! With Sam Bradford throwing for a big 3 touchdowns in 6 starts I’m not jumping on the Clayton train yet, but things have to start looking up for the Rams.

Rian Lindell: In case you aren’t fully up on your kicker news, Lindell done for the season. The picked up Dave Rayner, but you can probably find someone better in free agency.

Jermaine Gresham: It looks like he’ll play but may not be 100%. I’d stay away if possible.

Lance Moore: He didn’t practice on Friday and is a game time decision. I’d stay away from him and maybe bump Colston up for an extra red zone look.

Watching the San Francisco 49ers go 7-1 to start the season is simply mind boggling.  Jim Harbaugh has performed a miracle so far and not by his ingenious complex playbook, but by his simplicity.
