Yesterday before the “Aerial Preview” as I call it, Mark compared Fantasy Football to Fantasy Baseball. He drew some really good analogies; in particular that Fantasy Football is a lot like poker. I’d like to piggy-back off that and ramble a little bit myself. Please, blog, may I have some more?
The top of the chart has the worst defenses and the bottom the best. So as you can see in the first row of the passing defensive chart Tennessee and Detroit rank worst in our total. And then you take a look at their opponents, Seattle and San Francisco (both at home by the way), and you can feel pretty good about playing Crabtree and Burleson and their bretheren. As I flipped back and forth between MNF and the World Series (and thought over my fantasy baseball and fantasy football seasons), I couldn’t help but compile a mental fantasy baseball vs. fantasy football monologue in my head.
