A lot has changed in a month, oh, hold on… I’m sorry, just one second here, let me take off my captain’s hat. It takes so long to remove because of how big it is. I think it’s probably since the word “obvious” is in, like, size 840 font. As I was saying, it feels like years (DECADES EVEN!) since we’ve gone back and updated the preseason rankings. And there’s a reason for that. I’m just not a huge movement guy early in the season, probably because of the profound lack of fiber in my diet. I hesitate making reactionary moves, and I’d rather see how things play out in a majority of scenarios in Fantasy Football. Much like Fantasy Baseball, I want to see how things stew a bit before making wholesale changes, and to be honest, I would love you to do the same. Now, unlike baseball, waiting 20 games or so for trends to emerge wouldn’t work here, as you’d be making roster changes around Super Bowl time… just a little bit tardy there. Just a little. But taking the beginning of the season in a 4-game increment can be beneficial for your mind, body, soul, and probably loins. There’s science to back this up, I swear.

Here are Razzball’s Rest of Season Rankings for 2015:

10 team 1/2 ppr qb flex

Qb rivers wr robinson cooks garcon rb gore d murray te ???? q/r/w/t cutler
Bn newton olsen dez d adams r mathews hillman

I dropped matt jones for cutler and ebron for hillman

Now who to drop for a one week TE replacement

    Davante adams or ryan mathews

Probably not going to use adams at all the next couple of weeks and his bye is week 7 which is when dez may come back
Mathews is obvious handcuff/possible wally pipp of murray so i may actually need him at some point

And which TE to pick up for spot start
    Julius thomas owen daniels

And would you do cousins foles or vick over cutler

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Barker: Adams is fine then. Probably Thomas if he starts. And I like Cutler over those three.

  2. Fabuloso10 says:
    (link)

    Not sure what to do.

    12 team 0.5 ppr start 3 wr & 2 rb no flex

    Received 2 trade offers

Give up vjax for gio Bernard & give up James jones & Doug Martin for marshawn

Current wr are demaryius, Jordan Matthews, j jones, vjax & hankerson
Current rb are Ingram, d Martin, McFadden & Coleman

I know this may sound crazy, but I leaning towards just doing the gio trade cuz I hate vjax’s inconsistency and gives me the rb depth I need. I am a little concerned with marshawn’s injury and o-line. But then again I can do both trades cuz they both seem to favor me on the surface, it will just leave me chasing another wr.

    What is your suggestion?

Side note, my te is gronk so he can mask a weakness to my team

    Thanks in advance

keenan a big upgrade on hilton or very close?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@zandy: I’d say it’s kinda close. Same tier. But the Colts offense worries me a little.

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Jay: i know ‘we’ just traded for hilton from the keenan owner – i think he’s higher on hilton than keenan. do i try to send hilton for keenan and antonio andrews (so it looks like I want an RB so ill downgrade)
Or just hold on Hilton at this point….?

On the Colts point – would you send Gore straight up basically for Hyde?

[This is the Std league 2WR, 2RB and a flex with Julio, Demaryius, Hilton, ARob, JBrown and Gore, Ivory, Jstew, Dion, MJones, Bilal, Christine]

        • Zandy says:
          (link)

@Zandy: [antonio andrews is just a throw away so i dont look desperate for offering a Hilton – Keenan challenge trade]

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Zandy: I think it’s kinda lateral. I’d totally want hyde on the second one.

  4. Nick says:
    (link)

whew, I pulled off snagging Duke Johnson for $11 FAAB (someone bid $10 & another $3, boy I got lucky!)…I also dropped STL for Baltimore & said screw it, I’ll make a bid for STL after their bye & if I do not get em back, I’ll just stream in a shallow 10-teamer..

On to the next moves…someone already cut bait on Golden Tate. My WRs are Ty/Amari/Garcon with Hankerson flexing this week & Marvin Jones on the bench. Others on bench are Duke J, Joique, Gates, T Taylor, Based on ROS ranks, it seems Hankerson is lowest on totem pole..but I think I’d rather drop M Jones, if any of them..do you think Tate worth some FAAB $? I only have $42/100 left (1 person has less at $36-3 still have all $100) & I would assume there should be some action for a guy that is still 90% owned…

Lastly, for week 5, do I leave Hankerson in at flex (non-ppr/standard scoring) or put in my new Duke J v. Baltimore, Gates v Pitt, M Jones v Seattle or Joique vs. Arizona? Thanks as always!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Nick: yeah, I’d want Tate. Seems like an overreaction. Not sure yet, but I kinda like Gates here.

      • Nick says:
        (link)

@Jay: yikes, someone dropped rishad Mathews as well just now…do you target Tate or R Mathews on Miami? & who are your drops from my bench? 10 team league, standard scoring…

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Nick: Tate. Hate to say it, but I’d rather have him than Hankerson or Jones.

          • Nick says:
            (link)

@Jay: so were in agreement, a drop of Marvin Jones for Tate…even though Hankerson may be ranked lower than Jones ROS, I’m thinking Matty Ice has a better rapport with Hanky vs. Dalton-Jones [29 targets-Hanky vs. 18-Jones through 4 weeks]…plus M Ryan is more likely to continue his rampage over Dalton..

            & no interest in Rishard Mathews? My thoughts were since I do not have much FAAB $ left ($42/$100), I’ll make a really low bid for Tate ($1-$2) dropping Marvin Jones & than have a 2nd waiver priority for one of the following;

Rishard Mathews, Agholor, Torrey Smith, Boldin

With that said, it seems Tate is a much better bench stash over the 4 I mention above…in that case would you wager more of my FAAB $ on Tate ? I really want to conserve some $ going forward as I’m 2nd to last with $ left & 3 other teams still have all $100 left….so maybe its best I dont waste $ on Tate & target R Mathews for no $ (or hold Marvin Jones)…

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@Nick: Yeah, personal preference. And not really on Mathews… not yet. I want to see what this new coaching staff will do. It could turn into a fiery mess. I’d focus on Tate, and hold there.

              • Nick says:
                (link)

                @Jay: thanks

  5. Clint says:
    (link)

    QB: 5pts/TD and 40yds/pt pass
    R/W/T: 1.5pt/ppr, 20yds/pt rec/rush/return yds
Checked last 2 years’ worth of data and generally top 50 scoring for this flex goes WR>QB>TE>RB

Which would you start in a QB Flex for Week 5? Arian, Megatron, or Matt Ryan. I thought Ryan would be good last week & he burned me as did Megatron who faces Patrick Peterson this week. My gut tells me this is the week we see the 20-25 touch Foster at home against a hated rival who may have a wounded QB so he looks best?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Clint: still leaning Ryan there.

  6. guccimayne says:
    (link)

Charles Clay or Antonio Gates for week 5? Should I just trust Clay since he has the hot hand?

    Thanks again.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@guccimayne: it’s close. Rankings come out tomorrow, but it’s a coinflip right now.

  7. Butterfield says:
    (link)

Hey Jay! What do you think of Allen and Moncrief for Foster? My starting lineup would be: Rodgers, ARob, Cooks, R. Randle (or stream), Lacy, Foster, Eifert, Woodhead.

    • Butterfield says:
      (link)

@Butterfield: Or Allen and Woodhead for Foster? That would leave me more balanced, I think.

  8. Clint says:
    (link)

    QB: 5pts/TD, 40yds/pt pass
    R/W/T: 6pts/TD, 20yds/pt rush/rec/ret yds
Checked last 2 years of history in this league for QB Flex spot’s top 50 and overall WR>QB>TE>RB

Who would you start in that spot for Week 5 of Arian, Megatron, or Matt Ryan? Latter two let me down last week when I thought they’d do well & Megatron’s got Patrick Peterson this week. Seems like Foster’s set up for his usual workload facing a team with either a wounded QB or backup QB Thursday night so is he the choice?

    • Clint says:
      (link)

      @Clint:
Sorry I reposted this. Didn’t show up for some reason the first time and thought I didn’t click submit or something.

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Clint: No worries! It was Ryan.

  9. Comatose says:
    (link)

You Have Antonio Andrews pretty low, but it looked like he might be taking over in TEN. Are you not buying into that?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Comatose: not yet. To be honest, I don’t like the situation at all.

  10. William Hung says:
    (link)

Thinking of taking a flier on a WR for my bench spot: Algohor, Snead, or Green-Beckham? Who has the most upside this season?

  11. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

    1) So I missed out on Gates for my Olsen BYE week fill in. Options for the week are:

    Clay, Barnidge, Daniels, Donnell

    2) If K.Williams is out for BUF, who is the sub in my flex: Garcon, Cooks, Woodhead?

    0.5 PPR – 3 point bonus at 85 yards rec/100 yards rush – 6 point bonus at 135 yards rec/150 yards rush

    • Wilsonian says:
      (link)

@Wilsonian: Rodgers available at TE, too.

  12. Hometown Hero says:
    (link)

It looks like you are buying into the Devonte Freeman hype. Do you really think he will keep the job the whole year, especially with Coleman potentially coming back? Freeman was not very good last year and aside from the past two games has never looked like more than a change of pace guy.

    • Wilsonian says:
      (link)

@Hometown Hero: this is just my guess, obviously Jay can chime in, but I’d think it’s more related to how high powered the offense is. Jones opens everything up for the running game. Freeman has looked so good that even with Coleman coming back, he should continue to get his.

      • Hometown Hero says:
        (link)

@Wilsonian: @Wilsonian: so my follow up to this. I’m in a 12 team 2 qb standard league sitting at 3-1. I’ve got a trade in the works that may help me later in the season. My CJ Anderson and T Rawls for Martavius Bryant and tevin Coleman. I’ve got J Matthews, Hopkins and J Brown at wr while RB I have Ivory, Blount, and D Johnson. Would you pull the trigger? Thanks guys, you guys do a heck of a job!

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Hometown Hero: I think it’s okay, but your receivers seem fine.

          • Hometown Hero says:
            (link)

@Jay: well I view the upside of Bryant with Big Ben back and Coleman in that offense to be much higher at the end of the year compared to CJ. Hope it works out just pulled the trigger thanks again

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@Hometown Hero: No problem. I do like the trade, but your roster had some depth there. Good luck!

    • Scott says:
      (link)

@Hometown Hero: The offensive line is much improved from last year. And we all see what a difference that makes. DeMarco Murray

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Hometown Hero: I don’t have much of a choice at this point. But you being up a great point. I think the Washington game will tell us a lot.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Hometown Hero: both Scott and Wilson make great points as well. I don’t like him as much as I like the situation.

  13. Scott says:
    (link)

I was trying to decide whether to drop Rudolph for his bye week and you made the decision much easier! Thanks Jay!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Scott: any time!

  14. Scott says:
    (link)

I heard Ogletree will be put on IR. Do you think that would drop the Rams D?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Scott: a bit, but they are still pretty stout.

  15. Curt C says:
    (link)

Ros WR—-Kamar Aiken or Willie Snead?

    • Jay

@Curt C: Aiken, but by one spot.

  16. jojo says:

      @jojo: I wouldn’t, no.

yup, its crazy pills. i see him down at 24th now

@Joe: Jones until we know more about Beefmoe’s hamstring.

  19. Footballer says:
    (link)

Would you trade Cobb for Ingram hillman and Seattle d

12 team 1 point ppr league

    I’m trading away Cobb

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Footballer: What’s your RB situation look like? I still like Cobb a bit more there.

      • Footballer says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

RB situation is pretty thin. I have both cjs, duke and c michael

  20. WillisReid says:
    (link)

    Murray, Sims or Ellington?

I have zero confidence in Murray, but if he was going to have a big game a week after bitching about touches and the Saints D seems like a good bet.

    • WillisReid says:
      (link)

      DeMarco

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@WillisReid: Yeah, still Murray by a long shot over those guys. I know it’s frustrating, but the other backs ceilings are limited (Sims) or risky (Ellington).

  21. TobiasFunkeAnalRapist says:
    (link)

Would you drop tevin coleman, antonio andrews or rishard mathews for delanie walker? Te is not a spot so that decreases his value a bit. 2 wrs are required and 1 rb with 3 flex. Would you just hold for now? Thanks.

  22. omar says:
    (link)

10 team standard scoring. Thoughts on either of these trades:

    Give: Forsett
    Get: Edelman

    Give: Forsett & Karlos Williams
    Get: Megatron

    RBs as of now:
    LeVeon
    Forsett
    Blount
    Hillman
    Karlos Williams
    Abdullah
    Ellington

    WR’s:
    Mike Evans
    Jordan Matthews
    Dez
    Davante Adams

Evans is on a bye next week and it doesn’t look good for Adams coming back. WR’s on the wire are Tate, Wallace, Garcon, Hankerson, etc. Trade partner looking for an RB. Initial offer was Forsett for Maclin, but I wasn’t really feeling Maclin.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@omar: Yeah, run with Tate for now and see how it goes.

      • omar says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Thanks Jay! Just so I understand… You advise to stick with Forsett and stream Tate or another WR to get through Evan’s bye in week 6?

  23. Zeke says:
    (link)

My TE situation is terrible (Donnell, Gilmore) and I would really like to try to get Gronk. I am extremely stacked at RB (AP, Freeman, Ingram, Lewis, Crowell, D. Johnson), so my question is who do you think I should offer? I don’t think I would get a bite unless I offered Freeman or AP. Normally, I would think that is too much to give up, but I am in a pretty rare situation with so much depth and getting 10 extra points from my TE spot each week sounds pretty tasty. 12 team standard league. Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zeke: Freeman and Lewis for Gronk seems reasonable. But they’d have to be slim at RB to agree to this.

      • Zeke says:
        (link)

Thanks. They are definitely slim, so I will give it a shot.

        • Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
          (link)

@Zeke: that would be just lovely if 1 week after you do that ATL coaches go back and realize from game film who should be starting at RB.

          • Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
            (link)

@Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves: three times funnier if 2 weeks later opp gets belichicked into dion lewis no longer being used as a non-vereen guy.

  24. Bobby's world says:
    (link)

    Hey jay

Question, an owner in my league just texted me saying he doesn’t want Andrew Luck anymore , but he said he’s tried to drop him but can’t because Luck is undroppable , it was his first round pick!

Since he just flat out said he can’t drop him / doesn’t want luck , would you offer him my lowest ranked player for luck? I’m not giving him anything good if was planning on dropping luck . He still has Dalton & Peyton manning. I on the other hand have Palmer & tannehill, but I could drop tannehill if I aquire luck. Was thinking my Marvin jones for luck.

Same thing happened with this owner in 2013, he had Brady & Brady started out slow & kept asking me if I wanted Brady in a trade because he was going to drop him, I saw him clear waivers added him immediately it was week 6 or 7 by dropping Brandon bolden talk about a bye low! But that’s a diff situation Brady was never on the “undroppable” list that season , this with luck could be tricky

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bobby’s world: Sure, why not? Unless your league has a veto system, go for it.

    • Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
      (link)

@Bobby’s world: i would offer better than your worst player, unless you think he’s only sending YOU those emails. Cause anybody else will offer more than their worst player for Luck if he’s sent them to even just a 2nd owner.

  25. Sam says:
    (link)

Few things I’d like to bring up! First off, I was down by a little more than one when Russ Wilson decided to fumble everytime he touched the ball, and I ended up winning by three! Thank the Gods, because I would’ve been the first team to lose to the winless team AND I would’ve taken my first loss.

Second, my trade last week of my Dion Lewis, Stewart and Stevie for his Hopkins and J Hill already paying big time for me. Gotta love frustrated owners.

Third, who looks best in my two flex spots this week? Assuming health, of course:
Alshon, ARob, Yeldon, K Williams, Hill, John Brown.

    Thanks, man!

    • Sam says:
      (link)

      PPR league, btw.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Sam: Yeah, great trade there. Haven’t done rankings yet for Week 5, they’ll be out tomorrow, but my gut right now says Hill.

  26. G-man says:
    (link)

I am trying to trade Ivory, A. Robinson, and Landry for megatron and gore. Am I asking for too much? I could switch up ivory for foster, but I’m not sure if I’m giving up too much at that point.. I have Lacy and Peterson at RB so either way Ivory and foster are a flex at best for me

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@G-man: I think that’s fair. I think Foster is too much.

  27. Zandy says:
    (link)

Out of this midtier RBs, who has the most upside and who are you targeting to acquire vs sell – Dion, Melvin Gordon, Yeldon, Abdullah, Randle

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: I’d focus on Gordon. He is tied for the league lead in 20+ yard runs. I sense some wackiness soon.

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Jay: is it too much to send Hilton, Arob, Dion for Melvin and Odell?

What about Gore Hilton JBrown MJones for Melvin and Odell?

        • Zandy says:
          (link)

@Zandy: or would you rather send gore for Hyde straight up

          • Zandy says:
            (link)

@Zandy: (assume gore for Hyde is better than ivory for Hyde)

  28. Rudy says:
    (link)

So I have the number #1 waiver wire pickup in my league. Sammy Watkins just got dropped and I’m wondering if he is worth grabbing.

I have strategically waited to pickup certain players to have the number #1 wire in my back pocket.

I envisioned using it when someone like a Bell from Pittsburgh, or eddie lacy or anybody else, gets hurt. Pickin up deangelo or Starks would just be incredible.

So do you believe Watkins is worth picking up and using my precious waiver wire #1 claim or should I hold tight and wait for another big pickup later In the season.

    This is my roster.

    Tom Brady
    Antonio Brown
    Donte Montecrief
    Arian Foster
    Marshawn Lynch
    Delanie Walker
    Devonta Freeman
    Demarco Murray
    Marshawn Lynch
    Kendall Wright
    Leonard Hankerson
    Duke Johnson Jr.
    Gary Barnridge

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Rudy: I think you can wait. It becomes even more valuable closer to playoff time.

  29. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

Olsen is on BYE this week. I can grab Clay, per your instructions to fill in for this week. I carry 3 QBs because it is a 2 QB league and this keeps my bases covered. I have Ryan, Dalton, and Tyrod. I got an offer of Dalton for Kelce, which I don’t really want to do, but am considering countering with Tyrod. Would you deal Tyrod for Kelce?

    0.5 PPR – 3 point bonus at 85 yards rec/100 yards rush/250 yards passing – 6 point bonus at 135 yards receiving/150 yards rush/335 yards passing

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Wilsonian: Yeah, I’d deal him for Kelce. What’s the pool like like for leftover QB’s? Is there something serviceable for the bye weeks?

      • Wilsonian says:

@Jay: Smith, Bortles, Bradford, Winston, Fitz, Cousins, Foles, McCown/Manziel, Bridgewater, Vick are all available.

Was just offered a trade in a 12 team ppr that would involve my Forte for his R. Cobb and Crowell. It would leave me with Ellington, cj2k, John randle and David Johnson. My Wrs would then be odb, Cobb, G. Tate and the broken S. Smith. Would you consider it?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Favre Dollar Footlong: Naw, your depth would be terrible. In a vacuum, it’s a good trade, just not here.

Ppr 3wr league. My wr are Julio, marshall, cooper, cooks, and Marvin jones. My rb are gore, woodhead, hill, yeldon, and Abdullah. I want to trade for Edelman and he needs a rb what should I offer to get edelman in a ppr league?

    • Jay

      @chisoxx22: Gore, see what happens.

dynasty. i’m yahoo projected to lose by nearly 30 this week, but i could grab NYG in great matchup (but in this league they are only projected to score about 12). 2 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 2 flex that can be TE’s. PPR
    forehead/rodgers/rodfather/mallett
    forte/woodhead/j.bell (DET)/ivory/k.davis
    garcon/edelman/d-jax/allen/hankerson/r.matthews (MIA)/jordy (IR)
    ertz/j.thomas
    CAR D
Drop K.davis for NYG defense or just assume a loss this week? i’m 3-1 and have a top 4 team in pts. I don’t buy this Candlestick West guy being better than Knile. Knile was awesome when he had to start before. Other RB to replace Knile later if i drop and can’t get him again are Christine/A.Will/Taliaferro/West.

in another dynasty standard 14 teamer i was able to drop mason for coleman, man this freeman vs coleman thing proves how many people have completely awful memories in fantasy football, or nobody watched ATL play weeks 1 and 2.

    • Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
      (link)

@Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves: just noticed your season ranking for rankings, holy crap, it only took you two weeks with adjustment to get BETTER than last year (small sample obv)

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves: honestly, defense won’t win it or lose it. I’d hold, hope for the best.

Yeah, Freeman is not good, but the environment really helps him. We have no choice but to buy in.

      • Let Us Now Praise Famous Death Dwarves says:
        (link)

@Jay: i don’t get the AP reference. i’m saying if people are forced into using freeman, how good is coleman gonna be (if they watch tape and give him carries)?!

  33. whyohwhy says:
    (link)

Got lucky with devonta freeman.. After Coleman went off (relatively week 1)bi was trying to sell him to the Coleman owner as a handcuff… Luckily that sob didn’t bite…

Now I kind of want to insure my new star.. Would youdeql Leonard hankerson for Coleman?

I honestly prob won’t ever play or start either hanker son or Coleman, but you never know

    • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
      (link)

@whyohwhy: you could very possibly be starting coleman in a few weeks depending on what ATL does. If i was never gonna start Hank i most certainly would own Coleman being a Freeman owner or not. ATL’s system/O-Line may very well be only reason Freeman has stats the last two weeks (there is good evidence showing this), and all evidence points to Coleman being better than him.

  34. whyohwhy says:

Also just asked this in another thread, in a keeper league would you do any if the following deals:

    1) $1 Christine Michael, $30 Lamar miller for $4 Doug Martin and $30 Carlos Hyde..

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@whyohwhy: Hyde side in a keeper, not close.

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Jay: gore for Hyde and skip the beckhan Melvin ideas?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Zandy: No, wait.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Yeah, that one is slightly better, but I think getting Gordon and ODB is really nice. If you believe in Gordon…

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Jay: prefer the gore version for odb and Gordon or prefer the dion version?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Zandy: Gore, but my Chargers bias says get Gordon. I’ll let you decide what that means. :)

@Jay: love it! You’re the man!!! Thank you. Go bolts!

    You gots Ellington hella low.
I have chance to move him for bye week help.
Me Other RB Demarco Gurley Hill.

    • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
      (link)

@FrankGrimes: it’s probably since he likely doesn’t get a bunch of carries right back from injury, and of course is probably at higher risk to reinjure right now than later if he both looks good and gets more carries later.

      • FrankGrimes says:
        (link)

        @A Wesley Snipes Life:
Nah I get all that. This is rest of season ranks.
Fucking Murray is dog shit right now.

        • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
          (link)

@FrankGrimes: when you mentioned bye week help i figured it was about shorter term, i mean all Jay questions go in newest post, didn’t assume it had to be a ROS question just cause this post.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@FrankGrimes: I don’t know what to tell you Grimey. I love him, but he’s in the hospital for 90% of the season. I’m kinda mad at him.

        @Jay:
        I feel ya.

  37. Chad says:

Picked up cam off the wire in 12-tm yahoo few weeks back. I have rodgers, so looking to deal Cam. Should I trade for VJax? Or hold him for rodgers bye (Cam has PHI that week). I have Allen, Edelman, Watkins, Crabtree, Adams at WR.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Chad: hold, then deal for Edelman.

  38. Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
    (link)

this roster, PPR with .1 pts per return yard, if Luck doesn’t play (and really if we’re this close i might not want to play him anyway, except rankings all tell me to) drop one of these. Gotta be Jennings right? Other RB’s to grab later would be Sankey/Andrews/Taliaferro/Sims/J.Bell (DET)/Helu. start only 2 WR, 1 flex
    Luck
    forte/spiller/duke johnson/vereen/jennings/ellington
    edelman/landry/wallace/ginn/aiken
    gates
this would be aiken, but i need a WR 2 for this week with all of ginn/wallace/landry off.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: Yeah, I think Jennings is your drop. Could have been Ginn, but your WR depth is pretty thin.

      • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
        (link)

@Jay: damn having to hold two TE’s till gates was back and a 2nd QB last week did that to me, dropping Hurns last week last minute for Kaep (team is 4-0 even with having about the 6th best team, so so far it’s “working”)

  39. jcsnake says:
    (link)

Was just offered Lynch and Newton for Freeman… (My QB is Ryan) Do i jump on this? or is it a lot closer than i think?

    • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
      (link)

@jcsnake: WTF! that shoudn’t even be legal, you should be the one throwing in an extra player or 2, and not be getting back newton either. grab that as soon as possible.

      • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
        (link)

@A Wesley Snipes Life: and don’t worry about if it’s even twice as close as anybody thinks. You can just trade newton or ryan later too for more value.

          • jcsnake says:
            (link)

@jcsnake: And Yahoo has Freeman with more projected points for the rest of the season

            • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
              (link)

@jcsnake: don’t worry about asking round here if yahoo says so. just kidding, but you get the point.

and this yahoo you might trust, today, on the first season of hockey isn’t allowing IR guys to be slotted, and it’s NA tags disappeared yesterday, point being, if it’s not about their efforts to bilk people out of daily fantasy (now with POP UPS!), they don’t much care for what product they put out there. this is far less godawful than how in baseball at least 100 out of top 300 prospects for 2015 season STILL aren’t in their system.

              • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
                (link)

@A Wesley Snipes Life: first day of the hockey season that should read, not first season of hockey.

              Jay says:

Trade Freeman and Palmer for Lacy and Rodgers? I see your ROS rankings, along with others, have Lacy ahead of Freeman meaning it’s a no brainer, but he’s only played 10 more snaps than Starks and hasn’t looked great so far this season.

    • Jay

I still like him a little bit more. I like that trade for you.
