Well, this is it, one of the last required information dumps (hehe, dump) for the masses in preparation for the 2016 Fantasy Football Drafts that are all coming in a month or so. We just have a few more dynasty rankings, projections, and some other surprises coming, but we are almost set in terms of laying down the foundation of this year’s fantasy content. And then, we can actually talk about all this stuff we’ve been releasing, providing context and yo momma jokes galore. And for those of you who have never played in an auction draft, or for those of you who do nothing but make it rain when you hear the words Antonio and Brown in the same sentence, I’ll go over some pointers and overall auction strategy soon, as to facilitate moderate to heavy alcohol consumption without the fear of drafting Mark Sanchez just because you thought nachos would have gone great with that glass of bourbon. Literal nachos would have, mind you…

Is this a list of what you value these players at or a list of players’ “going for” rate?

@JDog: I’d say they are pretty similar in concept. I guess what I mean is, this is the value that they should be going at, so if you paid more than my number, you over-paid, and if you got one cheaper, you got complete value.

Auction values are always what I look forward to the most. Many, many thanks.

Auction keeper legues suck im in one and it would be better if there was no budget. You get a player for 1$ when he isnt even being drafted is just stupid to me. Even if the rules say any waivor add is five $ to keep. Then people are getting odell beckham for 5$. The rules are just stupid in a auction keeper league. Auction leagues are cool and keeper leagues are cool, but a auction keeper is just stupid.

@ganggreenn: I don’t think I follow. So you’re mad when a leaguemates drafts ODB or picks him off waivers and keeps them for $5?

It’s just part of the game. Im in a keeper league that uses an auction draft and I think it’s the best format. But we also have a 3 year max (a player can only be kept for 3 years). Idk to each their own.

Auction keepers are fine, but especially in formats like this, a strong constitution is needed. Hard to do with 12-20 viewpoints 9n it, for sure.

I run a keeper league on CBS and we are looking for 2 owners. We are a 10 team league, this is the 5th year . We do a full 11 man def 3DL, 3LB, 4DB and a flex spot on def. We also do 2QB’s since it is a 10 team league and that makes to QB’s much more important like in real life. We also took some ideas from our keeper baseball league. We have an auction draft and a salary cap. We can sign guys up to 3yeras but the money goes up every year if you keep them. Also it is total points and the top 3 get paid. Looking to draft Aug 28th

If you are interested I can send you a league invite to check out the open teams and the league in general. You can take over either of the open teams or start a new team with all of your money. You can message me back here or at [email protected]. Please only people looking to stay in a keeper league long term.

    Greg
