The year is winding down, and I have no idea how my liver survived it, especially this one imparticular. From Gurley to Trump, I can safely say that me typing this alive (and moderately well!)… has led me to believe that alcoholism is fake news. I WANNA BELIEVE.
That being said, my own personal goal is to land in the top-20 (where Rudy currently resides… Way to go Razzbro!), which would allow me to say “Razzball has been in the top-20 of fantasy accuracy of all industry experts for the past three years”. Because three is better than two. Unless it’s Ebola. We don’t need more than zero of that sh*t, ya dig? So, we have one week left, and wouldn’t you know, it’s probably your Championship week. So let’s get our rankings suit on (boxers plus a PBR… YMMV) and get Week 16 Rankings going!
It’s Championship week Jay! Thank you and the Razzball staff for helping those who have gotten this far.
Standard league
I need a RB from:
McKinnon @ GB
E. Penny (if Kerwyn is out) vs NYG
I need two WR from:
Goodwin vs Jax
Dede @ SF
Hurns (if active) @ SF
D. Adams (if active) vs Minn
I need a kicker from:
Gano vs TB
Elliot vs Oak (my opponent has Foles, does it matter? am I over thinking this?)
@Jedimasters: I forgot to add that I’m a slight underdog in my matchup.
@Jedimasters: Thanks for being a part of the community!
I’d say Mckinnon with Goodwin and Dede for now. Let’s see how those Q’s change later in the week. And no, you can never overthink at this stage in the game. Still though, going Elliot there.
@Jay: I’ve read all sorts of analysis on Goodwin vs Jax and this one is real tough to figure out. I’m interested in your thoughts on his matchup this week.
@Jedimasters: Yeah, I’m on the side that this Jimmy/Marquise relationship is in a good place right now, and has room to grow.
From your rankings it’s Barber over Jamaal Williams. For the flex your rankings say to go with Kupp over Williams/Wright/Byrd. Can you really trust Kupp with Woods back and only 3 targets last week? Thanks
@MelbaMosesWolfenstein: If Kerwynn Williams is out do you go with Penny over Barber/Jamaal?
@MelbaMosesWolfenstein: Yeah, Woods played a part here, I think game planning on both sides of the ball, especially after the Eagles game was also part of that equation. I still think he’ll get consistent looks, though what you say shouldn’t be lost on anyone starting him.
Hey Jay, made the Finals! thanks for all the help :)
need a streaming DEF – Panthers, Bears or Chiefs ?? Y
@Johnny Be Good: Great news! And going DA BEARS there!
Jay, my biggest question mark is kicker…could make a difference…
Would you go with Tucker (home w/ possible rain) against Colts…or go with Boswell (indoors) at struggling Houston ??
I dont wanna get cute…but I think Boswell may score more pts this week over Tucker?? Would love your insights & thoughts
@Johnny Be Good: They are close enough, and while my order could get closer, I think this is a true Sunday morning calls with the weather being a big factor. Tucker for me for now, but that could change suddenly day of.
@Jay: Actually, Tucker plays on Sat afternoon…so I need to decide by then (as Boswell palys on Sun 1pm)….hmmm?
@Johnny Be Good: That’s right, totally slipped.
I say go Boswell for all the reasons you listed. I like Tucker, he’s money, but with kickers, outside factors always seem to be the biggest thorns in our side.
If Riddick is ruled out, where would you rank Tion Green?
@Scott: Not to sound too simplistic, but I’d probably slot him in the same area. Maybe behind Henry…

Need some help after losing Antonio Brown.(have also lost desean Watson , Wentz and Reed this year)
QB- Big Ben(other option if Foles)
RB- Gurley
RB- Hunt
WR- DeAndre Hopkins
WR- Marvin Jones
TE- Witten(my other options are Vernon Davis and Cook. I could change to Davis given matchup and the return of Zeke for the Cowboys)
Flex- Martavis Bryant(My other options here are Kerwynn Williams(Ari), and Cole(Jax). I am a bit nervous with Bryant as he could put up a stinker and Williams should get volume)
K- Prater
Def- Ravens
Any help would be great. thanks
@Cabby: Yeah, tough loss at probably the worst time. Witten is nice, but I have Davis right there as a coinflip. Right now, edge goes to Witten, but double check with me on Saturday or Sunday if you can. And yeah, I’d like to start Williams there if he’s going, otherwise, you should be fine with Cole. I know I have Bryant one spot ahead, but it’s really fungible with me right now, and I may lower him moving forward.
Unfortunately I can only start 2 in a standard league out of Elliot Hunt and Gurley. Which 2 have the highest floor?
@Jerseyjon: gotta be zeke/gurley, walrus has shown numerous times how bad he can make khunt’s and earlier charles’ floors with 14 or less carries on many occasions, even in tie or close games.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: Yeah, as usual, I agree with Aubrey here.
@Jerseyjon: Jersey, sorry for the late reply, I think floor belongs to Elliot and ceiling belongs to Gurley. Hunt is in the convo, but I say it’s between those two.
SOB! i don’t need more injuries here. PPR but rushing yards are worth twice receiving, clearly my IDP’s are pretty damn good if THIS offense made the finals (i have a top 5 or better scoring team too so not crazy luck). in fact i’ll three peat in this 20 teamer if i win, albeit i probably won’t. need the min 10 WAS players at all times.
QB (1) cousins/goff
RB (1) perine/blount/lat murray/ekeler/c.thompson/kelley (some of these are in IR slots, have 5, but they’ve been overrun at this stage)
WR (2) doctson/benjamin (BUF)/grant/m.will (LAC)/pryor/treadwell
TE (1) VD/reed/RSJ
1 flex (always a RB of course)
drop blount for bibbs? blount’s role has been shrinking as we all knew it would and i’m sure next year that’ll only get worse.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: dynasty if it wasn’t obvious.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: 2. same league, we start real life sized IDP’s and i have this:
DT (2) AAron/hankins (finally shoving out stats to match his snap counts)
DE (2) campbell/heyward
LB (3) burfict/bucannon/e.kendricks/kwon A/david
S (2) k.joseph/t.mathieu
CB (2) humphrey/breeland/diggs (actually plays S now so huge get)
IR j.allen (WAS’s very highly drafted DT, will replace hankins next year), s.cravens S (another highly drafted WAS IDP guy will be back next year)
b.baker since branch went out has moved WAY up rankings, which of baker or mathieu here for dynasty? i can’t drop breeland really (although value wise that would probably be the smart play for baker). macdougald SEA also out there but here’s their ages:
mcdougald (27)
mathieu (25
baker (21). but of course baker wasn’t playing at all till branch went out, but maybe that was only since he’s a rookie.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: could also drop lambo, have hopkins who just came off IR and obviously i probably need to hold hopkins. lambo probably does better, but by now much really.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: I’d probably say Baker, from what I’ve seen (anecdotally), a lot of teams invest into the secondary with younger and cheaper components. I think Baker could have some staying power. That being said, Tyrann Mathieu is pretty young still and gets a lot of snaps. I’d probably still stick with him.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: Hey Aubrey! Trust me, none of us needs more injuries. The injury god only taketh, never giveth…
Yeah, I’m fine with that. Writing was on the wall for Blount this year, but there were enough flashes to keep people intrigued to their own demise…
Am I insane for debating benching AJ Green for Crabtree? My two starters are currently AJ and Tyreek. Do I still have to trust Green against Slay and with Cincy’s tanking offense?
@sdub88: They are within 20 spots in the flex for me, so definitely not crazy. I hate to keep saying it (feels like a month now), but I really don’t like starting Green, but in a lot of these cases, it’s just so uncomfortable to go with the other options as well. I’m still leaning Green, but I’m kinda salty about it.
@Jay: yeah the last time green did well was that 1st half vs PIT in either week 13 or 12 when he had 2 TD’s with 77 or so yards. i would’ve made playoffs (with highest score in the league) had green gotten to 100 yards in the 2nd half (or otherwise made 5.1 pts in the 2nd half, we have 100 yd bonuses). instead i miss playoffs with most points, something i had only heard about before. i had a bunch of guys that if it was roto i’d be fine like hunt/howard/green/winston (and replacements) wherein when they do well it’s really well but the floors are sickening this year. there’s probably about 5 other instances where i make playoffs from one player in one week. another:
BUF coaches bench tyrod, so i drop tyrod. i use cutler that week, he gets hurt in 1st half, meaning i could’ve either just left tyrod in QB slot (even in JUST the 2nd half of BUF’s game he would’ve won me that week) OR simply grabbed ANY other QB in FA and i’d have won that week than cutler.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: and DT too, due to DEN QB’ing he bottomed out nicely RIGHT in time for playoff making crunch weeks. at least twice across weeks 11-13 DEN QB’ing made me lose having started him but his overall yearly score probably isn’t that bad.
@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: man… 23 yards is a helluva margin. I think one of our readers, William, constantly scores the most points and finishes outside the playoffs. At that point, it’s just luck being a meanie.
Amos isn’t even listed in your top 50 DB’s he has been a stud this year when he has played.
