Folks! I spent a lovely weekend in the fine state of Minnesota breaking bread with the in-laws. Nothing is more refreshing than a three day weekend, except for a four day weekend, which I did not have. On Sunday I went and saw my beloved Buccaneers play the Vikings at the almost brand new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. While the result of the game made me question why I even still give a shit about this team that breaks my heart in one way or another every year since they won the Super Bowl in 2003, U.S. Bank Stadium is a work of art. The natural early afternoon lighting was an amazing touch to a modern marvel of architecture. The Stadium feels so open for an enclosed structure. I was moderately buzzed by the time I felt like eating, so I grabbed chicken strips without really exploring. But, I later saw people walking around with fantastic looking Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, artery-clogging nachos, pretty much any stadium cuisine you could desire. I highly recommend checking it out if you ever find yourself in the area.
