Yeah, it’s a bit lonely over here (am I talking about my dating life or this site?), but we must keep the ranking juices flowing. It’s what I demand. It’s what the industry demands. It’s also what your mother demands. Maybe. I’m actually not quite sure about what your mother demands, since our conversation last night was about something entirely different. Regardless, here are this weekend’s Wild Card Weekend picks AND rankings, for all you readers who are in bizarre NFL Playoff leagues.

Let’s bizarre together!

Wild Card Weekend Picks:

1. Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs (-8)
Kansas City Chiefs (-8)

2. Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams (-5)
Atlanta Falcons (+5)

3. Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars (-8.5)
Buffalo Bills (+8.5)

4. Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints (-6)

What’s up with the dimarco pick?

@Allan: That seems to be right around the consensus. Are you talking about his flex ranking?

@Jay: Kinda. I was mainly curious why he’s ranked #1 ppr rb?

@Allan: holy crap, yeah, i just checked this, figured it was a d.murray mistake. nope, something else.

@Fundle Bundle Life: Yeah, that was goofy, not sure how that happened. FP has their own formula on how PPR is generated, and we are judged based on their criteria, so it’s kind of a catch 22.

Big thanks for your draft rankings this year! I picked Hill and Kamara in later rounds, in addition to my keepers, and skated to a championship.

@Joe: Thanks for hanging out Joe, love to read stuff like this!

while i love to see walrus lose since he f’s all of us on hunt and charles’ touches for so many years now, and REALLY love to tell my KC friends (i visit there a lot) that “yeah yr team is good, but nobody will ever win with a. freakin smith” so i gotta be able to still use that one.
meanwhile TEN is just run badly and execute worse, all of these:
-first they’d have won that division probably had they just played henry all year
    – OL guys getting penalties after the whistle
    – get to the 2 inch line and false start (along with others)
    – who exactly on mariota’s “TD” tried harder to lose 3 points on that red zone appearance, the KC defenders (3 of them) or TEN? i’ve literally never seen 2 teams try harder to give up 3 pts.

@Fundle Bundle Life: oh yeah, and cheers to anybody else that noticed that KC’s “D” is 32nd ranked going into today, and took TEN and the points. even knowing KC is better at home usually. seriously though good night the AFC has some awful playoff teams (BUF hasn’t even played yet either).
BUF, TEN, KC (32nd ranked D, coach who spends literally large chunks of like the last 5 years not using a top 3 RB)

-cheers to the human race that for (hopefully at least) we’ll have 4 years of not having to mute our TV’s during prime time games due to grudening. but man back in the early 90’s i was an OAK fan, and STL was always a better spot for them than the rams anyway. outlaw culture, crooked infrastructure/stadium, dirty cops, high crime/STD rates, generally high rate of utter failure. kinda a midwestern city version of romania.

i realize KC could still win this game, but man, at this point not winning REALLY easily is a loss already (i’m certain their fans feel this way right now and should)

@Fundle Bundle Life: and that red zone set of 3 plays and the “who wanted to give away 4 points more” turned out to be the whole game. i WILL be getting punched in KC next time i’m there too, as i’ll add in “well sure mahomes is great, but you’ll never win with walrus”

@Fundle Bundle Life: Yeah, I hate it when my selections looks great for 66% of the game. I believe the Patriots started this comeback trend. DEATH TO ALL PATRIOTS!

@Jay: fisher’s influence still holds sway, LAR sure as hell look like a team where only THREE of their players have EVER played in the playoffs before. i’ll laugh my ass off if belichik goes to NYG though (esp if they become decent right away) after brady/kroft F’d up, bad.
