The 2022 class lacks a pinnacle player like Kyle Pitts. None of these players will be drafted in the top 5. I don't expect any of these guys to sign 30-million-dollar contracts, either. The 2022 class does offer a group of auspicious players though. I plan to target 1-3 players from this group as I build my roster. Here's how I stack them up.

The Impact of NFL Coaching Changes – Pass Volume

Every year roughly ¼ of NFL teams see a change in their coaching staffs. These changes to a new scheme could help or hurt certain players based on various concepts. For example, some play-callers are more pass-heavy while others might utilize more concepts like play-action.
In this series, we will review all the new play-callers (PC)/offensive coordinators (OC)to see where their styles differentiate from the previous season’s outputs. This article will dive into pass volume to see which teams should see the biggest potential swing in this category based on their new PC/OC. The below chart outlines the teams that will have a new PC/OC in 2022. Please note, that some teams were left off this list as they hired within or the new OC doesn’t call plays. Â
The QB well-spring dries up a little in 2022. Some QB-needy teams will undoubtedly force the issue and take some of these players early leaving better players at other positions for more savvy operators. They shouldn't. I did not notice any transcendent talents available this year. No player in this year's class has the success of Joe Burrow or the eye-popping talent of Justin Herbert. That's not to say this crop is bereft of talent. A handful of these players may have what it takes to captain an NFL franchise, but I do not plan to use a 1st round pick on any of them in my Dynasty League Drafts. If you are in a 15+ team dynasty league, this would be a draft to pick up a solid backup QB for those bye weeks and of course the dreaded QB injury. Historical Overview
Brian Daboll is now best known for his 4-year stint as Bills OC where he oversaw the rise of Josh Allen. Things didn’t start off so great as the Bills’ offense in Allen and Daboll’s first season in 2018 was 30th in both yards and points. This is clearly a distant memory as the Bills have been top 5 in both categories each of the last 2 seasons. However, Daboll’s story isn’t just about his time in Buffalo. Prior to his time with the Bills, Daboll coached for 11 years under Bill Belichick in New England and was an OC for 4 years for 3 teams. These seasons will play an interictal part in how we view the potential of the New York Giants offense in 2022 and beyond.
In this article, we will break down the impact the move to the new coaching staff from the previous regime will have on each position. Later we will use this information to help us determine if the fantasy-relevant player can offer value at their current ADP.
About this time a year ago, many experts thought the 2022 draft class might be a little weak. Their reasoning seemed sound. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA adjusted its player eligibility rules allowing all players an extra season to play sports. Some thought the new Name Image Likeness (NIL) rules which allow an amateur player to profit from the commercial use of their, well Name Image or Likeness. So players get paid to stay in college. But neither cash nor the enticing extra senior season of being the man on campus was enough to stifle 2022. This class is loaded with depth. It lacks some of the over-the-top talents like Najee Harris and Ja'Marr Chase, but it doesn't lack depth featuring many talented players who will almost certainly carve out significant roles early in their professional careers. The rankings of these players offer little more than a guide. I have done my best, but without the benefit of knowing their teams, rankings are an inexact science. This process is useful to get to know the new crop of talent growing our game.
