We are a full two weeks into RazzBowl7 draft season, so it feels right to discuss players that will ultimately round out your roster depth. Some of these players are current back-ups who will fill in as starters during bye weeks and/or when injuries occur to other players. It is easy to tout Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and other elite WR talents, but we all need a full, well-rounded roster to make it to the ‘Ship. For ‘Late-r Round’ names, I will be looking at players available in the double-digit rounds based on current ADP.
Below, you will find some under the radar, later round WR names you should consider as depth and bye-week coverage during your roster construction whether that be for your RazzBowl7 squad, your home league, or any other draft you are participating in. If you are like me, and my guys over at @RazzballNFL (Home – Razzball Fantasy Football), you are geeked about your #RazzBowl7 draft, so comment with the picks you started with, picks others made too early, players that slipped, and your general thoughts on how your draft is progressing. Is it going to plan or did that blow up in the first couple rounds? Are you on brand or do you not recognize your current/early build?
We are also adding a Razzball G-League and a Razzball Listeners League for those folks that are long-time readers and followers that we often see comment on our articles and/or those that pop into our podcasts, especially the Sunday Morning Start-Sit show during the regular season. If interested in one of the leagues, please drop me a note at this article and we can discuss your future in those leagues.

My Late-r Round WRs
- Player: Darnell Mooney
- Team: Atlanta Falcons
- Current (early) ADP: WR51, Overall 120
I am not a proponent of allowing recency bias to factor into your decisions on draft day; however, 2025 Mooney can be 2024 Mooney when healthy. Drake London will command the top coverage option. Michael Penix can throw the deep ball and Mooney is adept at getting deep. Good run after the catch ability, too. Buy the current injury dip and stash him. If you need immediate help, Ray-Ray McCloud III steps in until Mooney is back.
- Player: Jayden Higgins
- Team: Houston Texans
- Current (early) ADP: WR52, Overall 123
I ask, out loud, what if Christian Kirk cannot get back to really good PPR Christian Kirk? The answer is that it means Jayden Higgins probably starts to earn the Kirk targets as the year progresses. Higgins was drafted in the second round meaning the Texans are confident he will be a starter sooner rather than later. He combines size, speed, and the opportunity to step in on Day 1 for Houston. He probably starts on the outside, opposite Nico Collins with Kirk in the slot. That position bodes well for the rookie WR.
- Player: Tre Harris / Quentin Johnston
- Team: Los Angeles Chargers
- Current (early) ADP: WR54 / WR69, Overall 135 / 182
Risk/Reward especially with the news Keenan Allen signed with his old team on a 1-year deal. It is probable Harris and Johnston will fight for targets if Allen is handed the starting slot gig. I liked both names two days ago. I am a little down on both with the Keenan signing. Keep an eye on camp and depth charts before pulling the trigger on any of these names.
- Player: Rashod Bateman
- Team: Baltimore Ravens
- Current (early) ADP: WR63, Overall 166
Bateman is my second favorite on this list. Stay tuned for my top name below. The Ravens are a run-first offense. The Ravens are also an elite offense. The Ravens will throw when needed and will throw when trailing. We have all seen what Lamar Jackson can do as a passing QB. Zay Flowers does not catch TDs. I am not sure he can/will replicate the 9 TDs from 2024, but I do see him increasing his 45 receptions. Bateman is a better standard league option versus PPR. I prefer him in Best Ball over all other formats as he will pop 3-4 games each season.
- Player: Kyle Williams
- Team: New England Patriots
- Current (early) ADP: WR61, Overall 158
Thank you for reading until the end. Kyle Williams is going to be a household name by the end of the 2025 season. Elite hands. Elite route running. Elite separation. QB on the rise. Offense that will trail and need to throw. And, if you need anything more, Kyle Williams is a (former) Washington State Cougars player–GO COUGS!!! Some of this recommendation is homer while most is trusting my eyes and understanding the opportunity presenting itself for this rookie WR. Of all names on this list, Williams is probably the most affordable and with the most upside based on draft day price. I will roster him by drafting him in Round 15+ every chance I get.
