These best bets are now 12-6 over the last 18 selections. The model is in a groove right now, and we are hoping it stays there. There are plenty of resources used to make these selections, but many of the key ones can be found right here at Razzball.

Now let’s get to it! Week 9 picks for your betting pleasure.

Denver Broncos @ Atlanta Falcons 11/08/2020 @ 1:00 pm EST. DEN +4

Drew Lock was two-faced last week. He looked lost through three quarters and then surgically precise in the fourth, leading his Broncos to victory. Young quarterbacks progress, and I believe that was just another step in his NFL progression. Additionally, he gets a dismal pass defense in Atlanta. On the other side, Calvin Ridley comes into the week injured, leaving Julio Jones to carry the load. Denver’s superb pass-rushing ability could wreak havoc on Matt Ryan if Julio is his only option. I love watching the Broncos defense get at it, and I believe they will on Sunday. Four points are way too many in a close battle like this. Pocket those points and take Denver.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers 11/08/2020 @ 4:05 pm EST. LAC -1.

Justin Herbert was the unfortunate party of Lock’s spectacular Week 8 comeback, but he played exceptionally well again for most of that game. As Los Angeles attempts to put a healthy line together in front of him this week (FINALLY), he should be able to showcase his passing prowess against the Raiders’ inadequate coverage. I think the public has been scared off the Chargers after last week’s choke job. Las Vegas is fortunate if Joey Bosa cannot suit up, but I do not trust Josh Jacobs to keep the high-powered SuperChargers on the sideline. L.A. has the better roster by a decent margin. If it were not for Week 8, this line would be at least a field goal in their favor. Lay a measly one point on the Chargers at home.

New England Patriots @ New York Jets 11/09/2020 @ 8:15 pm EST. NE -7.5

Cam Newton stinks, but not nearly as bad as Sam Darnold, Joe Flacco, or whoever starts at QB for the Jets. This wager isn’t about the Patriots rather an indictment on the Jets. Most NFL clubs are 10 points better than New York, including New England. Bill Bellicheck owns Gang Green to the tune of 29-6 in the previous 35 contests. Toss those 7.5 points aside and have something to root for during this Monday Night Uglyfest.

Happy tailing, TnPers!
