The Rankings Tracker

 Updates: 8/15/2024

  • Amon-Ra St. Brown (from 7 to 5) – The news of the Jahmyr Gibbs injury could open up a few more targets for St. Brown early on in 2024.
  • Bijan Robinson (Behind St.Brown) – Bijan Robinson will be the primary back, but Tyler Allegier should have an every-week role potentially capping his upside
  • Jahmyr Gibbs (from 12 to 13) – Hamstring Injury could lead to a slower start. Montgomery is a capable back which could sway the coaching staff to ease him in longer.
  • Puka Nacua (from 13 to 24) – Nacua is week to week with a knee injury which could linger into the season. He could potentially be the 1b to a healthy Kupp as well.
  • Tee Higgins (from 44 to 39) – No Ja’Marr Chase in camp has allowed Higgins to rekindle his old flame with Burrow. Plus he’s in a contract year so we should be all in.
  • Kenneth Walker (from 45 to 40) – Ryan Grubb has a history of leaning on one back. Grubb has been quoted saying that Walker is a true three-tool guy… can somebody say bellcow?
  • David Montgomery (from 68 to 53) – Averaged a solid 13.4 PPR PPG after returning from injury last year. Now could be in line for a big workload early on in 2024
  • Joe Mixon (from 35 to 42 – Is still ahead of ADP, but has a lingering hamstring injury that might have him slightly behind in getting into a rhyme early on this season.
  • Romeo Doubs (from 120 to 86) – Reports have said Doubs has begun to separate himself from the rest of the pack (all pun). Should lead the WRs in snaps as well.
  • Chase Brown (from 104 to 89) – Chase Brown has taken the majority of reps as the starting RB with the first-team offense. This could lead to a huge season on an offense led by Joe Burrow.

 Updates: 8/16/2024

  • Deebo Samuel (from 29 to 17) – We are now in mid August and Brandon Aiyuk continues to holdout. Even with Aiyuk last season Deebo average over 16 PPR PPG when healthy

Updates: 8/20/2024

  • De’Von Achane (From 14 to 20) – Raheem Mostert is running ahead of Achane in the preseason. All reports say Mostert is still the top RB
  • Raheem Mostert (From 65 to 55) – Mostert is due for some serious TD regression, but it’s already baked into his value. He’s this decade’s Fred Jackson
  • George Pickens (From 55 to 62) – Arthur Smith looked to be up to his old tricks as the Steelers rotated and featured many players with the 1st I worry he could be more Drake London vs. A.J. Brown
  • Anthony Richardson (From 59 to 63) – Moved Richardson behind Murray in 6 points per pass TD. He still doesn’t show consistent accuracy and I prefer him in 4 point per pass TD leagues
  • Javonte Williams (From 79 to 73) – The Broncos phased out Samaje Perine with the 1st team and allowed Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin to operate on all 3 downs.

Updates: 8/21/2024

  • Brian Robinson (From 92 to 87) – Brian Robinson stayed in on the first two third downs during the latest preseason game and got most of the reps with the first team.
  • Jayden Daniels (From 94 to 88) – Daniels flashed his upside in the preseason completing 80% of his passes and rushing for a TD! His dual-threat capabilities make him a great low-end QB1 in 2024.
  • Gabe Davis (From NR to 149) – Gabe Davis saw two of Trevor Lawrence’s four pass attempts in the preseason. According to reports out of camp, Davis has been getting more high percentage targets then he did in Buffalo.
  • Devin Singletary (80) – Devin Singletary operated as a true workhorse back getting work on third downs and on the goal line. Singletary has been a Top 32 RB in four straight seasons.
  • Rashee Rice (From 51 to 36) – Rashee Rice looks like he will avoid a suspension in 2024. He was featured in the preseason seeing six targets on just 17 routes.
  • Chuba Hubbard (From NR to 113) – Jonathan Brooks could start the season on the PUP list. Hubbard is believed to be the RB1 until he returns. This could lead to some flex value early on in 2024.

What goes into my rankings? Every year, I start with a baseline of what happened the prior year. Then, I review key things that might have impacted the player’s production like injuries, bad coaching, or lack of talent around that player. Next, I review what’s changed heading into this season. This includes things like coaching or personnel changes, injuries, and training camp news and notes on how a player has moved up or down the depth chart.
