There has been a little more football news finding the top of my algorithm lately. My feed is welcoming the football banter considering that other 162-game sport is nearing its half-way point. Don’t tell Grey that I am not overly geeked about the middle of baseball season. Probably more than anything, my lackluster attitude about baseball is the fact all my teams are middle of the pack with crappy pitching meaning I am destined for middle of the pack. I doubt my arms have what it takes to bring me back to prominence in the second half. My mind is shifting back to football after (too) many months away. Did you miss me? If you are like me, and my guys over at @RazzballNFL (Home – Razzball Fantasy Football), are ready for in-place SFB#16 drafts while patiently awaiting word of RazzBowl8. You read that right…the big RazzBowl8 announcement is right around the corner. Stay tuned.

My Guys – WR
- Player: Davante Adams
- Team: Los Angeles Rams
- Current (early) ADP: WR22, Overall 46
Some will say Davante atop my list is based on my fan-boy love because he played for my Packers coming up in the league. This could not be further from the truth. Let me give you one thing to consider when looking at this stud WR. Since 2016, Adams has only finished outside the Top 10 once. That season he finished WR16 with Jimmy G and Aidan O’Connell throwing him the football while wearing silver and black. Let that sink in. Adams was atop this list in 2025 and came through with a WR7 finish on only 60 receptions. How is that possible you might ask. It is possible through 14 TDs. It is possible when the DB1 covers Puka Nacua. It is possible when the MVP is your QB. I have seen Adams as far down as 58 overall. With his red zone and end zone prowess, move Adams up your board and start him weekly.
- Player: Luther Burden III
- Team: Chicago Bears
- Current (early) ADP: WR21, Overall 44
Ben Johnson could not wait to jettison DJ Moore especially after adding Luther Burden in the draft leading up to the 2025 season. Well, Moore is gone which places Burden as the WR2, and possibly WR1 for a Chicago offense on the rise. If Caleb Williams continues to improve, look for it to be on the back of LBIII. Burden needs Rome Odunze to be healthy to take DB1 coverage away so my take here assumes Odunze can and will be ready/healthy to start 2026. Burden is going to be an absolute YAK monster in 2026. My goal is to roster him on every team and he should be drafted ahead of names like DeVonta Smith, Zay Flowers, Rashee Rice, and Garrett Wilson who are all currently listed ahead of him in early ADP ranks.
- Player: Brian Thomas Jr.
- Team: Jacksonville Jaguars
- Current (early) ADP: WR33, Overall 71
Sophomore slump is officially over in my mind. I look for Trevor Lawrence and BTJ to get on the same page during camp as they get closer to the rookie line of 87-1,282-10. I foresee both Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington to be drafted ahead of Thomas in 2026 drafts which will prove to be the worst case of WR recency bias in years. If you see BTJ drop below those other two WRs, you need to smash that draft button and thank me later for the top WR3 in the league.
- Player: Marvin Harrison Jr.
- Team: Arizona Cardinals
- Current (early) ADP: WR31, Overall68
Pedigree is too good. Kyler is gone. Let the targets flow. Do not be shocked to see Michael Wilson get drafted too high while Maserati Marv leads the Cardinals WR corps in all stats. Be wary that Trey McBride is still the alpha in the desert, but as WRs go for the Cardinals, I fully expect Wilson to step back slightly while Harrison Jr. improves.
- Player: Carnell Tate
- Team: Tennessee Titans
- Current (early) ADP: WR30, Overall 65
I mentioned Tate in my previous WR article. I mention him here again. He will lead this team in big WR plays. He will probably finish behind Wan’Dale in receptions, but will outpace him in both yards and TDs. Playing from behind, the Titans will pepper Tate with targets and he is a better red zone target than any of the current WR corps. I do not foresee Tate bringing a Brian Thomas Jr. WR4 finish to 2026, but he will finish as the WR1 for the 2026 rookie class.
- Player: Matthew Golden
- Team: Green Bay Packers
- Current (early) ADP: WR51, Overall 124
I would be remiss if I did not mention my homer WR pick of the year, Matthew Golden. Why draft a kid in the first round if you are not going to use him as first round talent? I do not know the answer to that question. What I do know is Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are both gone leaving the third WR position open for Golden. Additionally, Christian Watson and Jayden Reed have shown a tendency toward injury. Also, and I hate to mention this, the running game is in full question mark mode with the Josh Jacobs off the field garbage. Enter Matthew Golden with a year in the system and another off season with Jordan Love. For those WRs being drafted after 120 overall, give me Golden all day.

Nice article Matt, drafting on the NFFC like RazzBowl I am looking at more recent ADP and Parker Washington and BTJr are going right next to each picks 66 & 67 three rounds ahead of Jakobi @ pick 98 that is this month FYI.
Looking forward to drafting with and against you guys again, Let me know
Keep up the good work
Best Regards
Welcome back, Champ! With the three round discount, Meyers appears to be the better/best value of the three JAX WRs. As much as I love BTJr, I think the three round savings makes Meyers much more enticing.
We will see you on the podcast soon and make sure you get your entry in for one of the listener leagues!
