When:Â Slow snake drafts featuring a 4-hour clock will begin on the NFFC platform on Monday, August 3rd, 2025 at noon EDT.Â
How: All entrants will be randomly assigned to a division. Gone are the days of anyone having to enter the lottery to play in the main RazzBowl tournament: you sign up, and you’re in! Make sure to read RazzballNFL football articles, listen to the RazzballNFL football podcasts and video interviews, and follow us on X/Twitter/Reddit/YouTube as we discuss all things fantasy football and share our tips, tricks, and techniques to field the most competitive RazzBowl8 roster.Â
Format: Better Ball Tournament: A version of best ball that features a minimal weekly free agent acquisition budget (FAAB) of $10 per team for the entire season with a minimum of $1 bids to prevent teams from dying off. Managers will compete in 12-team leagues for the first 10 weeks of the season. We’re still cooking the playoff format to avoid confusion, but this will be resolved in the next week.Â
PLEASE NOTE: In the event of a tie for teams to advance to the next round in either the Championship or Wild Card rounds, all tied scores at the cutline will advance.
Roster Positions:Â 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB, WR, TE), 11 Bench
Lineup Submission: Leagues will have an optimal scoring format (best ball) for Weeks 1 through 10, where your highest scoring player from each of the 9 starting positions is scored at the end of each week. Then in the RazzBowl Championship/RazzBowl Wild Card Tiers of Weeks 11 through 17, all owners must set their starting lineup each week. This is different from the regular season.
In-Season Content: Make sure you tune into the RazzballNFL Sunday Live Start/Sit show on the free YouTube channel. We are on two hours prior to kick-off and will answer all your Start/Sit, Trade, Waiver questions and even set aside time to provide advice on kickers. You read that right, we are a full-service fantasy outlet, and that is proven through our willingness to chat kickers! We will provide weekly updates on the RazzBowl8 tournament to include name-dropping those teams that are up in the standings. Come for the updates/analysis, stay for the laughs.
Prizes: Winner-Take-All Champion receives a RazzballNFL DFS Premium Subscription ($139.99 value), 3 RotoWear shirts of his/her choice ($90 value), and our undying love and respect.
