We’re halfway through the fantasy football regular season so it’s time to take stock. How can you improve your team now and for the future? We’ve got all the best streamers and stashes to help you on the journey.

To keep things simple, we’ll define a streamer as any player you wouldn’t usually start who is a viable option for this week. They may be on your bench or they may be on waivers, depending on your league. We’ll define a stash as any player you can potentially find on waivers that you should stash for the future, either because they have a favorable match-up coming up, or because they could become a future fantasy starter. All players will have under 80% ownership on either Sleeper or Yahoo (ideally both) or would usually be bench stashes in most leagues.

We’d love to have you join us on the Razzball YouTube channel (@RazzballFantasy) and podcast. If nothing else, tune in every Sunday morning two hours before kick-off for our Sunday Live Start/Sit Show where we answer hundreds of your lineup questions.

QB Streamers:

Jacoby Brissett (ARI – 24%): The Cardinals have had a very difficult schedule so far (and it doesn’t get any easier after this week) but when they get a good opportunity, Brissett takes it, with several Top 6 finishes. The Cowboys are his reprieve in Week 8 and they’re a top ten quarterback matchup. Get Brissett in your lineup if you’re streaming this week.

QB Stashes that are also Streamers:

Sam Darnold (SEA – 33%): The Bears remain a top ten quarterback matchup and Sam Darnold hasn’t had many of those. But in the one occasion when he didn’t face one of the toughest ten defenses, he put up 30 points for a QB2 finish. There’s upside here if things click for Seattle. He’s also got easy matchups in Weeks 9 and 10 so you can stash him if in need too.

Kyler Murray (MIN – 65%): The Vikings have made a habit of winning without needing to score points, but that will change as they face the explosive Lions and Bills offenses. Thankfully, both of these defenses are buns, meaning Murray could have a big week this week and next. He’s another solid streamer who’s also a good stash.

RB Streamers:

Jordan Mason (MIN – 70%): He wasn’t a viable start last week and he doesn’t have a great rushing matchup, but with Aaron Jones injured and Mason getting the majority of the touches last week anyway, he’s a viable streamer in Week 8. In fact, it looks like he’ll be a good option every week going forward.

Jonah Coleman (DEN – 29%): The Broncos got Coleman off IR in Week 7 and immediately shifted him into the starting role. It’s still very much a committee but the rookie is getting enough touches to make him a viable streamer with four teams on byes.

Blake Corum (LAR – 78%): Though he’s heavily owned, Corum is rarely being started in standard leagues. This week is the exception though. He gets a heavy rushing load when the Rams are leading (they’re 6.5 point favorites) and the Chargers are a top ten rushing matchup. If you own him, use him.

RB Stashes:

Seth McGowan (IND – 8%): The Colts are clearing house, meaning Jonathan Taylor may be next. If that happens, McGowan will be a Top 20 back. He should be owned in every single league as arguably the most valuable backup in the league (may outside Corum).

Elijah Mitchell (PHI – 1%): The Eagles may be without Saquon Barkley and Dameon Pierce, meaning Mitchell is a worthwhile stash as the next man up. Having said that, if we get a sniff that Barkley or Pierce will play, he’s droppable.

Running backs get injured more than any other player in fantasy, with the average Top 36 running back missing two games per season in fantasy. For that reason, your best bet in fantasy is to roster running backs who are an injury away from an every down role. Each week, I’ll be listing my favorite RB stashes, only including players you won’t be starting most weeks.

Top Handcuffs: Blake Corum, Seth McGowan, Brian Robinson, Kaelon Black, Samaje Perine, Emmett Johnson, Mike Washington, Tyler Goodson, Rico Dowdle, Chris Rodriguez, Kenny Gainwell, Ray Davis, Jaylen Wright, Sione Vaki, Marshawn Lloyd

WR Streamers:

Makai Lemon (PHI – 37%): Lemon finally broke out in Week 7 and gets a fantastic matchup against the Commanders in Week 8. The rookie is a strong stream assuming Devonta Smith isn’t back. Darius Cooper is also a deeper option, especially if Dontayvion Wicks remains out.

Chris Godwin (TB – 62%): He’s been very hard to trust this season, but if Emeka Egbuka is out and Baker Mayfield completes more than seven passes, Godwin should be in for a good day. After all, he caught over half of Baker’s passes in Week 7.

Antonio Williams (WAS – 8%): With Terry McLaurin out for the season, rookie Williams is a viable starter in a great matchup against the Eagles, the league’s second best receiver matchup.

Ja’Kobi Lane (BAL – 9%): I’m going for a fourth streamer this week as I love the matchup for another rookie too. Lane has emerged as a reliable target and with Lamar Jackson back and top receiver matchup, Buffalo, on tap, I’m happily streaming the Ravens youngster.

WR Stashes:

Malachi Fields (NYG – 4%): And here’s a third rookie in a row and it’s one of my pre-season favorites. It is that time of the season when rookie receivers start to emerge and Fields did just that last week. Assuming McCarthy remains the starter through the Giants bye, Fields will be a viable streamer in the right matchups moving forward.

TE Streamers:

Chig Okonkwo (WAS – 11%): My favorite waiver pickup this week was Okonkwo. I’ve been talking about him for weeks and he showed signs of breaking out entering his bye week meaning many missed him. If he’s still available, go get him and, if you’re not set at tight end, start him this week too.

Hunter Henry (NE – 51%): He’s not usually a great option but against the Dolphins, a top three tight end matchup, I’m starting Henry. Though I admit, with Eli Raridon emerging, this may be the last time.

TE Stashes:

Terrance Ferguson (LAR – 8%): With Davante Adams out for months, the Rams tight ends have become an even bigger part of the offense. Ferguson won’t be back for a little while but he has so much upside, I’m stashing him anyway.

K Streamers:

Cam Little (JAC – 58%): With the Jags on a bye last week, a lot of people forgot about Little. He’s a top-end streamer this week and, frankly, most weeks.

Chad Ryland (ARI – 5%): The Cowboys are a good kicker matchup and Ryland is a good kicker. That’s a good combo!

DST Streamers:

Jaguars DST (JAC – 35%): The Colts look awful on offense and after their trade away blitz, they’ll be even worse this week. Meanwhile, the Jags have a sneaky-good defense.

Bengals DST (CIN – 20%): The Bengals defense is much improved this season and faces the struggling Titans. They’re a solid low-end streamer.

Please note: I won’t be listing kicker or DST stashes. You should never put kickers or DSTs on your bench in redraft leagues. There are practically no exceptions. Just please, don’t do it.
