Does anyone play in a league where you can trade FAAB dollars? I don’t know if there’s a website set-up for that, but there must be. I could see there being strategy involved with a trading a 4th wide receiver for $10 or using that extra cash to sweeten a deal. Especially over a long season, and if it was a keeper league to boot trading those extra dollars toward the end of the season could really make a difference. Well, I’m sold, if you’re interested check back in about eight months and I’ll have a league ready to go. Now, on to the show.

So this is Free Agent Auction Bidding, and we started the season with one hundred dollars. Ten weeks in, does anyone have any money left? (I have less than $10 in all my leagues) But let’s say you do, let’s say you missed out on all the guys you wanted up until this week, maybe you’ve added and dropped a couple defenses, but that’s it. In that case, spend spend spend!

Thomas Rawls ($13) – He’s not exciting or new but he’s available and Lacy’s hurt. Rawls has a decent upcoming schedule going to Arizona, then home against Atlanta followed by a trip to San Francisco. A buddy just moved to the area around the new Niners stadium, and we were there on a Sunday, no game, and even then it was a logistical nightmare. I feel bad for anyone going there, and then I remember no one is.

Corey Clement ($5) – He was a FAAB add a couple weeks ago but now that they have Ajayi what was there for Clement to do, beside score 3 TDs this week against Denver. That’s not happening again although Clement is worth the add because he can pass block and that may get him on the field. Me, I’d rather have the next guy…

Devontae Booker ($5) – I don’t know how people who own CJ Anderson don’t have ulcers, because I don’t and even thinking about it makes me anxious. Anderson has only two double-digit point games this season and four games less than 6 points. Booker time is coming sooner than later, but if it’s a little later that’s cool, the Broncos have a good fantasy playoff schedule.

Damien Williams ($4) – In Miami it’s him or Drake. He’s less owned, so more available to take a spot on your bench.

Matt Forte ($4) – He’s still got something left in the tank; Bilal Powell is who we thought he was (not great) and the Jets play stinky Tampa Bay this week.

Rob Kelley ($4) – If he’s been dropped in your league add him to your bench. You never know if you might need him come Week 14 against the Chargers.

Blake Bortles ($4) – I’m using him as a Wentz fill-in against the Chargers at home, and in other leagues I’m saving him for a choice week 11 matchup at Cleveland.

Josh McCown ($4) – Facing the Buccaneers, could do worse.

Corey Davis ($4) – He was a stash add for the past few weeks and now he’s playing. Too bad the schedule really doesn’t start getting good for him and the Titans until week 12. I’d rather have him than the next three guys.

Robert Woods ($3) – He had a good game Sunday and did a solid for those with a lot of wideouts on byes but Rams have a lot of mouths to feed.

Terrance Williams ($3) – If Dez is out then he gets a bump but he might have a lingering injury all his own. Screams avoid to me.

Cole Beasley ($3) – If both Dez and Williams are out, but I don’t think we’ll know by add time. So wait and add him off waivers, aight?

Tyler Kroft ($3) – Good matchup versus the Titans this week.

Greg Olsen ($3) – He’s going to be back this season, possibly by Week 12, so if he’s out there add him up.

Danny Woodhead ($2) – Buck Allen owners should be wary and hope that Woodhead doesn’t ruin Allen’s prime matchup versus the Packers Week 11.

Josh Gordon ($2) – If you have the roster space and all that.

$2 Defenses: A lot of Defenses coming off byes, so you should have choices. My top two are Pittsburgh going to Indy (then home against Tennessee and Green Bay) and New England at Denver. Chicago against Green Bay if you must.

Lastly: How many FAAB dollars have been spent on Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris I wonder? They’ve been added heavily multiple weeks this season (and dropped a lot too); at least we know that Morris will get the first chance but McFadden is worth a stash. Truly this is the most bizarre situation I can recall during a fantasy season. Elliot might not even get suspended and if so his owners deserve a healthy back pat for taking the risk. If he is suspended though, it’s going to be for the playoffs most likely, and is there some comeuppance with that? Either way, week 11 is upon us and another Zeke decision hangs in the balance…
