This is MB pretending to be Roto-Wan. Roto-Wan is currently recovering from a successful medical procedure so I’ll be posting Propageddon this week on his behalf. This is a contest that Roto-Wan started last year and in this contest you click here and make picks on prop bets that he creates. Your answers will not be displayed in any way, but if you win, you will be shouted out by Roto-Wan on twitter! That’s not all! For the first week, Rudy has given us the go ahead to gift the winner access to his fantasy football tools for the 2019 season!

Welcome reader/commenter. If you’re reading this, I have something exciting cooked up for you this season. It’s a vampire league! The concept is fairly straightforward. The vampire, let’s call him Dakula, doesn’t get to draft a team. They must build it via waivers once the other teams complete the draft. The twist is that if you lose a head to head match up to Dakula they get to swap one of your starting players for his. As the vampire’s potential prey, you need to decide which of your players to expose. As the season goes on, Dakula should get stronger. There are a few other wrinkles I have in mind. One of my favorite board games is The Fury Of Dracula. Here are some rules inspired by FoD, as well the other pertinents.

Nice work by Greg Smith (@gregsauce) to be the first tout to be in double digits in a while with a 10. The readers took it on the chin last week with McCrackalax11’s 7 the best of a struggling bunch. To urge you to try out Rudy’s Pigskinonator I’m going to feature it’s responses to props this week. You need the help, trust me. Rudy’s projections are smashing as per usual. Put them to the test in THIS WEEK’S PROPS.

Which TE scores more PPR points on Saturday?

It was a challenging week in Propageddon. Two readers, DanForn and Jason Batteiger tied, with a 7/12. The AI smoked the humans, as Rudy’s Pigskinonator put up a 9. Don’t anger the machines. Sign up for a free trial and finish your season strong. I’m not any kinder this week, with another dozen doozies on tap with THIS WEEK’S PROPS. The top reader will receive a signed copy of Donkey Teeth’s fantasy guide: How To Let Go Of Boring Veterans And Embrace Young Studs. Here are some of the more interesting results from the tout crowd…

Welcome to Prop bet fans. For the second straight week, we had a reader beat the touts. With an 9/10, reader ILuvMomJeans outscored the field. With an 8 Fighting Chance Steve was the best tout. Week’s 11 and 12 are always odd, so it will be interesting to see if the touts can get their groove back. This week’s prize is a voucher to have B_Don show up as Kim Jong-un to your next secret meeting in Singapore. You can get into THIS WEEK’S PROPS here. Don’t forget to give Rudy’s Tools a trial if you want an edge.

Welcome to Propageddon, readers new and old. Last week we finally had a reader beat the touts. With an 8, reader Biz outscored the field, while Russ Prentice (@Russ1Prentice) was the best scoring tout at 7. This is what happens with poor voter turnout people. The terrorists win. Or something. I know it’s bad.

This week we have a legitimate prize. Rudy has offered up a subscription to his NFL Tools for the rest of the season to the winning reader. To be entered into the running you must complete the survey, include your email address, and get the most correct. The smart thing to do would be to go and get the free trial, then use the tools to dominate the props. It’s the equivalent of asking the genie for more wishes. So dig in with THIS WEEK’S PROPS. Here are some of the more interesting tout side results.

Last week we finally had a reader tie the touts. Three folks achieved the high score of 8 correct: reader Sweaty Pants tied two of Razzball’s own in Brandon Myers and Matt Bowe. The reader bell curve was normal, but the touts was smashed to the ends. That’s interesting in a way someone better at data analysis could tell you. The winner of this week’s reader side will receive the DJax chain that Matt Bowe wore with his FitzMagic Halloween costume (*may be a replica). As usual, you can get an extra point if share your favorite of these props on any social media. THIS WEEK’S PROPS are live so get crunching. You can see the response distribution of the tout side here.

Week 8 of Propageddon featured the tie to honor the firing of Hue Jackson. Three touts tied at 10 out of 14 correct: last week’s winner Pat Fitzmaurice (@Fitz_FF), Brandon Gdula (@Gdula13), and our own Rudy Gamble (@rudygamble). There was also a three-way tie on the reader side at 9 correct: @andrewkdewhirst (second straight), @evanklotzman, and gt.sundown. Any of you could have taken solo possession of first by grabbing the bonus point for sharing the post. Perhaps you’ll consider it this week. At stake is not only a free 7-day trial of Rudy’s tools, but Rudy will name his next predictatronomizer after the best reader (maybe). To get the extra credit just share your favorite prop of the week on any social media. THIS WEEK’S PROPS are live so get crunching. You can see the response distribution of the touts here.

The first week of Propageddon was a success. Both the tout and public results were nice bell curves, averaging 6ish correct answers out of 11 questions. On the Tout side, Pat Fitzmaurice (@Fitz_FF) and Greg Smith (@Gregsauce) tied with 9 correct, and @andrewkdewhirst was the top reader with 8 correct.  I’ve added some questions this week and invited more touts. Get in and fill out this week’s props. I’d like to up the reader participation so I have a couple of things to offer. First, if you share this post on any social media platform I’ll throw you a bonus point. Second, if you get the top reader score Grey Albright will leave you a personalized voicemail complaining about L.A. traffic. I mean, that’s priceless. You can see the full results of the tout responses here. Time for the props…

You’re a head coach whose team is down 14 with 2 mins left in the game. Your team has just scored a TD to narrow the deficit to 8. What do you do?

Let me start by saying I am not a bookmaker. I enjoy sports betting, like most of you, but I won’t pretend to be as sharp as someone like our own Rudy Gamble (have you tried Rudy’s NFL Tools?). What I lack in efficiency I make up for in creativity and a willingness to put a line on almost anything. In that spirit, I give you the first propageddon post. Each week I will mash up some of my favorite storylines into a dozen prop bets. To help me out I’ve asked a handful of fellow touts to give their input. You can see all the responses in chart form here. I’ve also created a version for readers to fill out, and I’ll publish the top performer next week! Without further ado, the props…
