It was an ugly end to an ugly game. The talk of the town this morning is how long Myles Garrett should be suspended by the NFL. Baker even brought up a suspension in the post game interview. Striking Mason Rudolph with his own helmet is one of the most malicious acts that we’ve seen on the field in a very long time. If there is even a little bit of humor in what occurred; trust me there isn’t much, it was Mason Rudolph throwing his hands up to the ref IMMEDIATELY after the helmet hits him.

This is it! It’s the final three week stretch of the fantasy football regular season. Each matchup is crucial for seeding or just flat out making the playoffs. That makes the rankings more important than ever. The rankers at Razzball are going to do the best that we can to get you where you need to go. Let’s get to it and I’ll see you in the comment section.

If you didn’t watch the game last night and just peak at the final score, you would think that there was plenty of fantasy goodness that went on last night. Nothing is more frustrating than needing fantasy points on MNF and the offensive game play being sub-par, especially when the over hits. But also, nothing makes you feel as alive going into Monday night up 5 points with Chris Carson left and your opponent has Jimmy Garappollo and somehow, you pull it off without a sweat to get to 9-1. Rarely is luck on my side, but it seems to be in my big auction league this season.

Patrick Mahomes made his triumphant return to the Chiefs’ lineup on Sunday and he did not disappoint. On his first throw he didn’t look like he was moving around very well and threw what looked like an interception, but it ended up getting overturned to a completion. After that, he looked like the same ol’ Patty. Andy Reid was not at all shy about his usage either. Mahomes attempted 50 passes and completed 36 of them for 446 yards and 3 touchdowns.

It really helps to have Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce to throw to. Tyreek Hill saw a remarkable 19 targets and caught 11 of them for 157 yards and a touchdown. Travis Kelce caught all 7 of his targets for 75 yards. Mecole Hardman absolutely turned on the burners for his 63 yard touchdown catch. Having two of the fastest wide receivers in the league is paying off for the Chief’s offense. Unfortunately, we have the Chief’s defense, and we also have the turnover prone running backs on this roster. While Damien Williams did reach over 100 total yards, he had a costly fumble that might have put him in the doghouse with Andy Reid. I’m not quite sure what his other options are though.

It’s week 10 of the fantasy football season. After you get done reading this and ask your questions, get all of your housework done because we have 10 hours of great football ahead of us. Well, hopefully. During the early games, the Bears and the Lions will face off in a last ditch effort to keep their seasons alive. The Browns will host Buffalo and try to save face. There are reports that there could be some high winds in that one so keep that in mind when you are setting your DFS and season-long lineups. Patrick Mahomes is back, folks! Patrick Mahomes will make his return against the Tennessee Titans. Our shoot out this week comes in Tampa Bay and a matchup between Jameis Winston and Kyler Murray. There should plenty of fantasy points to go around in that one.

In the late afternoon, the Panthers face off in Lambeau with Kyle Allen getting another chance to keep the Panthers in the playoff race. The Rams will try and keep themselves in the division race against the surging Pittsburgh Steelers. On Sunday night, Kirk Cousins will try and turn around his historic primetime stench with the Vikings traveling to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. Let’s get to the injuries followed by updated rankings.

Jon Gruden has been my favorite thing to watch this entire season. He was unintentional comedic gold during the Raiders’ Hard Knocks run and then that turned into him ruining a bunch of my bets by making the Raiders competitive. And now I’ve been profitable riding the Raider train the last couple of weeks.

Gruden has been stellar so far this season with the X’s and O’s. The Raiders were missing a couple of offensive lineman and also Arden Key. The Raiders were also ripped to shreds with dumb penalties but somehow, some way they continue to get it done. I had written the Raiders off after Antonio Brown forced the Raiders to cut him, but here I am in week 10 really hoping that Oakland can find a way to grab the 5 seed and make the Saturday afternoon wild card game a fun one. Here is what else I saw in the final primetime game at Oakland Coliseum.

We have reached the double digit weeks time of the year. After 4 more regular season Sundays, we will be preparing our rosters for the playoff run. That is, unless, you managed to make the cutline in the RazzBowl. I think that it’s awesome to have a do or die team this early in the football season. It can’t hurt to start setting lineups in pressure situations. Oh, if you had forgotten and are a participant in this season’s RazzBowl, DO NOT FORGET TO SET YOUR LINEUP. The best ball portion of the contest is finished. Good luck to all of you that made it this far in our new annual contest. Go out there and make us proud! Here are my early week 10 fantasy football rankings…

Every time that we start to wonder about how good the Texans are, they come out and have an impressive performance. The Jaguars historically play really well in London games, but the Watt-less Texans still lived in Minshew’s grill. Minshew followed up a great game against the Jets the previous week with a stinker against a defense that is susceptible to the passing game. The Jaguars will head into the bye and have to decide if Foles is going to take his job back. If I were the Jags, I’d be putting Foles back under center. The last wild card spot in the AFC might only require 9 wins. The division crown is definitely an uphill climb after dropping both games against the division-leading Texans, but getting to 9 wins is definitely in play.

The early games had some key injuries to the fantasy football world. Jacoby Brissett left the game against the Steelers in the second quarter with an MCL injury. Adam Thielen tried to give it a go with his bum hamstring, but he didn’t make it out of the first quarter. DeSean Jackson’s return in his first game since week 1 was short lived as he left early with an abdomen injury. Here is what else I saw during the early slate of games on Sunday.

We start the day in London with the Texans against the Jaguars. The Jaguars have actually had recent success in London with their “go across seas on Thursday” strategy. The Texans followed that strategy this week, so let’s see what happens there.

The Jets line up against the Dolphins for a big time garbage matchup and you know that we can’t wait for the Steelers vs. Colts. The Vikings could use a win against the Chiefs to keep pace in the division and the Chiefs could also use a win to keep control of the AFC West. The Bears and Eagles should be a pretty interesting game. The Bears can honestly put any quarterback out there and get the same production that their current starter gets.

The Panthers will try to get something going against the Titans to keep their playoff hopes alive while the Bucs will try and play spoilers against the Seahawks. The Browns will try and correct the recent negative script against the Broncos and the Raiders and the Lions will try and stay really relevant in the playoff race.

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and you get to pick out the good stuff from your kids’ candy bag. Man, even if you don’t have kids, I hope you bought the kind of candy that YOU like to hand out to trick-or-treaters. Two for me, one for you. That’s how this works. I spent my Halloween by drinking beers in my friend’s garage while the kids went out into the world, but after that, I took a private jet to the first annual mid-season Razzballies. It was a glorious event and all of the best and worst of fantasy football came out. Ezekiel Elliott was there in a cutoff shirt. Dwayne Bowe received a lifetime achievement award. Each winner received a different phallic trophy that was uniquely designed by our own Donkey Teeth. I made it just in time to catch all of the major awards and here is what I saw.

I think that this Friday we will go over the mid-season awards instead of a Thursday Night Football Recap. Do we really need to recap a 30-3 49ers victory over Kingsbury’s Court? I’m going to create some fantasy football Razzballies! I already have a couple written on a napkin at work. Nevermind, I think I threw that napkin away after lunch. There will be fun to be had and fantasy football frauds to shake our fists at, this much I promise you. But for now, it’s time to do our regular Wednesday thing where I give you my rankings and then you ask me questions in the comment section. Let’s go!
