As we look back on my projections for the top 20 running backs for 2012 fantasy football, I would like to say I feel I nailed it. Unfortch, unlike that one famous carpenter that was around prior to AD, I’m not good with a hammer and injuries always seem to rattle this position to it’s core when you go to review. There were plenty of surprises, some pleasant and some not so, but the people who drafted players like Maurice Jones-Drew or Ryan Mathews may never play this wonderful and wacky game again. In the end, the top 20 at this position were most likely the least injured players more so than they were the best players at times during the year which is to say, it wasn’t always sexy to own some of these backs. For the meat and potatoes of this conversation, since we don’t have a player rater yet, we’re going to rely on yahoo PPR rankings for our review. So with the groundwork set, let’s take a look back at the top 20 running backs for 2012 fantasy football…

Quarterback for 2012 was the best of times and at times it was the worst of times. And how many times can you say ‘times’ without your audience getting annoyed? This is a question I at times ask myself. But enough about that, for every value play, there seemed to be an equal and opposite punch to the protective cup and even with those value plays, there were plenty that left their owners disappointed when the playoffs finally hit. In either case, the season is now over so I’ll be revisiting my rankings and projections for the top 20 quarterbacks for 2012 and comparing them to how they did for the year. Since we don’t yet have a player rater on the football side like baseball does, I’ll be utilizing yahoo for my final rankings because that’s where I play all my leagues and I’m too lazy to do anything else. Hopefully we have our own player rater in place for the 2013 season, perhaps one that makes me 100% right. But enough about my hopes and dreams, on with the show. Here’s the top 20 quarterbacks for the 2012 fantasy football season…

Well here we are; week 17, the last coup de grace for a few of you, and for others, the Holy Grail of eternal survival and a suicide championship belt.  For many of us (me included), the year ended early with a bucket full of shame.  Again, how in the world has Arizona gone from […]

Is your league still going in week 17? I’m not quite sure what to make of that quite honestly. On one hand I want to denounce you and watch my chicken viciously peck at your children, and on the other hand, can I, Tehol Beddict, fantasy writer extraordinaire, really blame you for wanting to extend fantasy football another week? Fantasy football is fantastic, maybe even better than pure columbian blow(that may be going too far), but some will state it unwise that your league is set up to play when numerous teams are usually set up to play meaningless games. When I say that the games are meaningless, I mean that a few of your fantasy stud muffins may be riding the pine this week in preparation for the playoffs. Talk to your league manager about it. When I say talk, I mean take him in a dark room and stroke him/her with a couple blows to the kidneys while sporting brass knuckles. Nothing like going into a title game having to start the likes of Harry Douglas. Either way, you get another Beddict post, and being that I am the Razzball fantasy football champion, how can you not heed my advice? You almost have no choice at this point. So, no matter that I don’t agree with your league set up. Just win Baby.
