Welcome to week 2 of the 2020 NFL season! Some of the stories that I have heard already from fantasy players have been downright brutal. I have a friend who thought that he had won his league right after the draft after starting with Michael Thomas, Kenny Golladay, and Chris Godwin. And I know he is not the only one. You just never know! The injury bug can kill even the sharpest starts of drafts. I’m looking to turn my own season around after taking Miles Sanders pretty much everywhere that I could. I have a lot of 0-1 starts to redeem. I hate sweating this early. We still have 12 weeks until the fantasy playoffs so there is a lot of time to turn it around. Let’s start with the injury report, follow that up with some DFS plays that I like, and then finish with the rankings that I will be updating all the way until kickoff.

Fantasy football season is over for most of us. There still are psychotic commissioners out there that see no reason to leave week 17 out. If you’re in an argument with this person, all you need to do is point out the literal highest scoring fantasy asset is sitting out this week since the Baltimore Ravens locked up the #1 seed throughout the playoffs.

But, I am here to serve. I know that there are some of you that have to navigate the rough week 17 waters to try and chase those final payments. And there are those of us bored degenerates that are going to try to squeeze the last little bit of money on DraftKings and FanDuel. I didn’t do any rankings for week 17, but we can take a look at the inactives for week 17 and some sneaky DFS plays. Even if your fantasy football season is over, it doesn’t have to be totally done just yet.

Good morning to my fellow fantasy football fiends! Did you start Ronald Jones II yesterday? How about Robert Woods? Don’t worry, we still have 13 games left in the fantasy football season, so let’s make the right calls from here on out, shall we? We have come too far to lay down now, even if Saturday didn’t go the way it was planned. With Derrick Henry not expected to play, it’s best to avoid the landmines such as starting Dion Lewis and go with a better option like DeAndre Washington. If you have other inquiries, as always, go ahead and ask your question in the comment section so I can help you set your lineup all the way up until kick off. Here is a look at the injury report and my rankings for the week.

Here we are in the heart of December. It is week 15 of the NFL season which means it is the semi-finals for fantasy football. Outside of the semi-finals, we have a lot of fantasy football players that are playing to avoid last place punishment. We have seen some pretty grueling punishments for last place penalties and one of my keeper leagues has a long-standing punishment system as well.

This league has been running for 6 years and I have yet to finish last place, so I am pretty happy about that. The punishment for last place is that you have to get your belly button pierced and keep it in throughout the entire draft. This punishment fits into the mold of mildly inconvenient, while not life-altering or too embarrassing. We’re all friends from high school so we talk about it all year long. The bellybutton bowl. I bet if you asked everyone in the league, they would have a better memory of who got their bellybutton pierced than who actually won the league in any given year. Let’s get to the updated injury list and rankings for week 15.

I got a message in my DMs today saying, “I need to quit doubting Jimmy.” Yeah, I think we all do at this point. The porn star banging super model lookalike is also the quarterback for one of the best teams, if not THE best team in the NFC. After a heartbreaking loss in the ugly Baltimore weather last Sunday, San Francisco bounced back in New Orleans and beat the Saints 48-46.

We finally have another full slate on a Sunday. The bye weeks are finished, Thanksgiving is behind us and now it is time for the fantasy football playoffs. But along with the fantasy football playoffs, we get to enjoy three great matchups. The Baltimore Ravens go to Buffalo to take on the Bills while the 49ers stay on the Eastern side of the country and play at the always difficult Superdome in New Orleans. And finally, we get the Kansas City Chiefs visiting Gillette Stadium in Foxboro to take on the Patriots. Even of fantasy football doesn’t go your way Sunday, the games we get to see should be enough to entertain.

We have 3 games in the books already but what bye weeks a thing of the past, we pretty much have a full slate for your viewing pleasure. After 3 games, you may have a pretty decent idea how your fantasy week will go, but do not fret if you’re in a hole, there is plenty of football still left to play. If you’re fantasy season is in shambles, at least you get to watch the game of the year between the 49ers and the Ravens.

We also have the Browns and the Steelers battling to keep their playoff hopes alive. Mason Rudolph won’t be starting so chances are slim that he takes another helmet to the face. And for dessert on Sunday night, the Patriots travel to Houston for a battle of division leaders. Let’s get to the injuries and the rankings.

Happy Thanksgiving loyal readers! It’s the one day of the year that you can crack a beer at 10 in the morning and nobody in your family will look at you twice. Football also starts an hour earlier than it does on a normal Sunday. There won’t be a wrap up of these three games tomorrow so if you have any questions for me before Sunday’s primer, this will be the post for them.

It’s go time! The fantasy playoffs are a short 3 matchups away. The Cowboys will finally play an early game for once and they will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions to stay in the NFC East race. The Buccaneers will host the Saints who are probably not too happy following a loss to the struggling Falcons at home. The Vikings will play host to the pesky Broncos and one of Allen QBs while the Jets will visit the Redskins. The Falcons and Panthers will face off in Carolina, but the big one for the early slate is Houston traveling to Baltimore to take on the red hot Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

In the afternoon we have a Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and the Patriots and the Eagles have a ton of injuries on offense so we will see how that goes. We have a rematch of the Thursday night game from a couple of weeks ago with the Cardinals traveling to San Francisco or where ever they play to play the 49ers. And at night we have the Bears traveling to Los Angeles to take on the Rams who have a pretty beat up offensive line. It should be interesting. Let’s get to the injuries and the rankings!

It’s week 10 of the fantasy football season. After you get done reading this and ask your questions, get all of your housework done because we have 10 hours of great football ahead of us. Well, hopefully. During the early games, the Bears and the Lions will face off in a last ditch effort to keep their seasons alive. The Browns will host Buffalo and try to save face. There are reports that there could be some high winds in that one so keep that in mind when you are setting your DFS and season-long lineups. Patrick Mahomes is back, folks! Patrick Mahomes will make his return against the Tennessee Titans. Our shoot out this week comes in Tampa Bay and a matchup between Jameis Winston and Kyler Murray. There should plenty of fantasy points to go around in that one.

In the late afternoon, the Panthers face off in Lambeau with Kyle Allen getting another chance to keep the Panthers in the playoff race. The Rams will try and keep themselves in the division race against the surging Pittsburgh Steelers. On Sunday night, Kirk Cousins will try and turn around his historic primetime stench with the Vikings traveling to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. Let’s get to the injuries followed by updated rankings.

We start the day in London with the Texans against the Jaguars. The Jaguars have actually had recent success in London with their “go across seas on Thursday” strategy. The Texans followed that strategy this week, so let’s see what happens there.

The Jets line up against the Dolphins for a big time garbage matchup and you know that we can’t wait for the Steelers vs. Colts. The Vikings could use a win against the Chiefs to keep pace in the division and the Chiefs could also use a win to keep control of the AFC West. The Bears and Eagles should be a pretty interesting game. The Bears can honestly put any quarterback out there and get the same production that their current starter gets.

The Panthers will try to get something going against the Titans to keep their playoff hopes alive while the Bucs will try and play spoilers against the Seahawks. The Browns will try and correct the recent negative script against the Broncos and the Raiders and the Lions will try and stay really relevant in the playoff race.
