After a fantastic holiday where all of us at Razzball got out of the office to see our families, we’re back and bringing all three of the main hosts together with Nick letting JayWrong and I develop our never-ending man love.  I’ll set you up with someone, I promise!  Then we develop our idea for a Razzball get-together in DC/dating ritual for our boy Jay.  This week we also talk playoff strategy and where we think Josh Gordon will be drafted next year.  Some leagues start playoffs this week, others have one regular season game left, so good luck in week 14 in your march to the finals!

With a chill in the air and a bite to the wind, the Razzball Podcast is back!  Nick had no other way to stay warm than pounding some Canadian whisky through the night, so he practiced the national remedy of hangover cures by sleeping outside naked in the negative temperature.  Well, he said it was negative Celsius, I don’t understand no metric!  Once Nick finally got into the studio, he and I recap week 12 on a frightfully cold Sunday including Josh Gordon’s big game, what to do with Tavon Austin at this point, and Nick’s strategy for DraftKings moving forward.  Then Sky calls in to let us know who to grab from the wire in your playoff push.  If you’re in a nail-biter in MNF, good luck tonight and have a great Thanksgiving!

The Razzball Podcast returns, and appropriately for a week of no-shows from several fantasy studs, it’s only me manning the podcast with super producer Kyle turning the knobs.  We would survive a zombie invasion, Kyle!  I recap all the action from week 11 including the Bobby Rainey breakout, why I’m still in love with Kris Durham and my DraftKings picks in my quest for a ticket into the Week 17 Millionaire Finale.  I also go into why Nick’s Writers League team is a piece of hot garbage.  If your game hinges on tonight’s game, good luck and be rooting for my Panthers!

The Razzball Podcast is back!  And since we taped on Tuesday whilst remembering our American and Canadian heroes, we’re previewing week 11 this week instead of recapping the past week – traveling to the future instead of the past!  We’re Back to the Future Part II instead of the original.  It’s a jam packed episode with Nick’s new hand-picked intern #8 (oh wait, that’s right, he has a name it’s Kyle) going over AFC matchups, Nick I preview the NFC including my raging Panthers while also hitting up DraftKings, Sky calls in with wire pickups for the home stretch and Murph recaps the past week’s injuries.  So much going on that we had to stay professional throughout!

Well Nick tried to work some Podcast Hosting mojo, and pumped up a special guest that never showed.  That’s how to promo Nick!  Maybe I’m just bitter because at the end he fired everyone. What is this, the Podcast Apprentice?  You need a haircut Nick.  Or maybe us regulars are all supposed to feel special…  Despite our Podcast Czar running the show like, well, a Czar, Nick and I talk NFC notes including the historic Nick Foles game, Jay calls in and goes over AFC news including his terrible Chargers losing in OT, and Sky lets us know who to grab off the wire.  Nick then relives his college days from the 1930s and pulls a G.O.B. at the Bluth company Christmas party.  I’ll accept Nick dressed in a banana suit next week as an apology…  Good this week and in your push to the playoffs!

What a huge Sunday it was in the midway week, as Calvin Johnson had the most receiving yards in a 4-quarter game in NFL history and the Cowboys gave up yet another heartbreaking loss.  Nick and I go over that game plus everything NFC, then JayWrong calls in to review a big week in the AFC.  Marvin Jones just caught another touchdown!  Sorry I missed it during my spot on the pod, but RCL top scorer through Sunday goes out to the Redeye Raiders in Take on Jaywrong League with 213 points!  Megatron and Brees shall lead you to the promised land.  Nice work Redeye!  We also cover another big week in DraftKings and Murph calls in with the injury report.  Have a great 2nd half to the Fantasy Football season!

Week 7 is (mostly) in the books, and despite the worst MNF game ever, it was a huge week capped off with the Battle of 1812 (yeah, that one took me a split second…).  JayWrong goes over that game and everything AFC (including yet another Chargers win), then I go over the NFC notes including a Panthers win and a rant about how the St. Louis Rams carried themselves.  But I do wish the best to Sam Bradford… Fluke injury.  Murph then calls in reporting on that and all the other injuries from Sunday, and lists himself in the report after suffering a loss to my 7-0 Writer’s Team!  Or so I assume, Muprh!  Drink more of that moonshine I sent ya that kept ya out last week!  Erases memories… Good luck to everyone in week 8!

Razzball Nation!  In a very special Tuesday recording time, we give thanks to Canada for giving us beavers, syrup, a change to the podcast schedule, and Nick.  This week we discuss how Nick’s Writer’s League team at 0-6 is the yin to my 6-0’s yang, address naming conventions in Newfoundland, and then throw in some NFC notes.  JayWrong then calls in with his AFC notes hungover from the huge Chargers win last night, then Murph updates us on injuries and Sky let’s us know the waiver wire adds you need to consider.  Good luck to everyone in week 7!

The Razzball Podcast is back!  It’s great to be back in the DraftKings studio after sitting out last week, but hey it was the Panthers bye so I took a bye too.  Although to be fair, the Panthers took another bye this week and I didn’t!  I’m the consummate professional!  Nick I and go over the NFC notes and what it means for your fantasy team, along with a DraftKings look-in and the RCL top scorer through Sunday.  JayWrong then dives into the AFC quick-hitters while Sky gives us the waiver-wire guys to nab.  Murph was going to call in the carnage report, but with that last shot of rum, he had to add himself to the report!  Good luck to everyone tonight if your game is hinging on Monday Night Football (looking at you Julio Jones) and good luck in week 5!

There was a plan today. I’d been working on it for weeks. I finally had people behind me ready to support my podcastings efforts. I had an intern. Who slept in. And JB was off today. And JayWrong showed up hungover. And Kyle the Super Producer showed up angry.

Surprisingly it turned into one of the best podcasts ever!

I filled in with the NFC notes. And JayWrong rebounded from a slow start with the AFC notes. And Sky and Murph did their usual, superb reporting. And Kyle got happy (after we spent an hour looking through the Facebook photos of the new receptionist at the radio station… so bendy! Kinda like Aaron Dobson!). And the intern was fired. Of course, it was after he did the donut run. Razzball is now hiring new interns! Anyway, here’s the Razzball Football Podcast (now with donuts):

Oh man, how one single week can change everything!  After looking like a team that was toast in another heartbreaking loss, my Carolina Panthers went beast mode on the Giants in the biggest shutout smack down in our team’s history.  He Hate Me!  So much fun.  And with that shot of adrenaline, the entire Razzball Podcast family was healthy and ready for action this week, with Nick and I breaking down action in the NFC and DraftKings, Jaywrong and Nick going over what the H happened to Jay’s Chargers and the rest of the AFC, Murph bringing us the carnage report on this week’s injuries, and Sky telling you who to nab off the wire.  Good luck to everyone tonight if your game is hinging on Monday Night Football and good luck in week 4!

Well, it was about as bad a week 2 as it could get.  Desperately needing some offense from anyone besides Marshawn Lynch, the 49ers/Seahawks game turned out to be a dud and my terrible Panthers found yet another way to lose.  Lucky for me, David Wilson was awful yet again, finally putting the nail in the coffin for Nick’s hot tub.  In a great twist of irony, the NY David Wilson’s face the horrible Panthers in week 3 and I actually think he’s an upside flex play.  It’s over with now.  Fin.  Nick and I then go over all of week 2’s final scores and break down our thoughts, I recap the RCL top scorer through Sunday, and Sky and Murph bring us some waiver pickups and the carnage report.  Good luck to everyone tonight if your game is hinging on Monday Night Football and good luck in week 3!
