Welcome back for another week of cashing in here at Razzball. I am here with your weekly DFS-focused article laying out my favorite options to target at each position for the Sunday DFS main slate. This DFS Flash article goes position by position, giving you my favorite pay-up option and my favorite pay-down or dart-throw option at each position to help you build out a winning DFS lineup.

I use DraftKings pricing as a point of reference to seek out some values, and the goal is to help you “double up” in a 50/50 cash game with solid plays. Of course, you can use the dart throws to try to win the GPP tournaments, but at the end of the article, I give you my “double up” lineup using players discussed in this article. Let’s get right into it, let’s build this lineup and let’s make some money.

Quarterback:

Pay up – Kyler Murray – $7,400 – I’ll start by saying that I almost went with Tua again here but decided to go with Kyler for a few hundred more with a home matchup instead. Kyler is coming off his best fantasy performance of the season, putting up nearly 30 points last week on DraftKings. He has a matchup against a below-average Seattle defense that ranks 22nd against opposing quarterbacks in a game with one of the highest expected point totals of the week. Kyler is really connecting with his weapons with DeAndre Hopkins back and not missing a beat, and the complimentary pieces like Zach Ertz and Rondale Moore still playing a big factor. At this salary, we need just over 22 points from Kyler for a three-times return on our investment, and I look for him to stay hot this week in a good matchup to get us there.

Pay Down – Trevor Lawrence – $5,200 – Back at home after a trip to London, Lawrence gets to bounce back with a matchup against the same Las Vegas defense that just got torn apart by Andy Dalton last week. The Raiders’ defense ranks second to last in the league against opposing quarterbacks and has given up 15 passing touchdowns on the season. This is a good spot for Lawrence and his receivers to connect for multiple scores and get back on track. A three-times return on investment at this price is under 16 points, and Trevor has gone over 21 in two of his past three games. This is a solid value at this price and comes with several stackable options.

Running Back:

Pay Up –Aaron Jones – $7,400– Aaron Jones has been the focal point of the Green Bay offense, and he has been producing a solid fantasy performance for us. He is averaging 25 points per game in his last two games. Now, he gets a favorable matchup against a Detroit defense that ranks 30th in the league against opposing running backs and has already given up 13 rushing touchdowns this season. I look for the heavy usage trend to continue with the struggles of the Packers’ passing game, and in this matchup, Jones should have no problem producing with his volume and getting back into the end zone to pay off his salary for us.

Pay Down – James Conner – $5,800 – I don’t see a lot of deep value at the running back position this week, but this could be a sneaky one if Conner is back in the fold this week. He is priced down because we are unsure if he will play, so monitor the practice reports for the rest of the week. If he does play, I expect him to resume his lead back role for an Arizona offense that is starting to click. The matchup against Seattle is also good, as they allow over 140 rushing yards per game and are beginning to come back down to earth as a team. I have Arizona winning this game, so a positive game script also plays well into Conner getting more production. If he returns this week, I like him as our pay-down option at this price.

Wide Receiver:

Pay Up – Justin Jefferson – $8,600 – Priced-down $500 less than last week, Justin Jefferson is a great play this week against Washington. Washington gives up over 33 points per game to opposing wide receivers, and Jefferson will be matched up against Benjamin St-Juste, Kendall Fuller and Rachad Wildgoose. If you don’t know who they are, just look at their CB grades over on PFF. While the group has started to play better, they are no match for a supreme talent like Jefferson. This could and should be a multi-TD game from JJet, so get him in your lineup if you can afford it.

Pay Down – Christian Kirk – $5,500 – This is my favorite of the stack options that I mentioned pairing with Trevor Lawrence. Kirk has been one of Trevor’s favorite targets this season and has had 17 targets over the past two weeks. We already talked about this Raiders defense in the Lawrence section, but I will also point out that they give up the fifth-most points to slot receivers, and Kirk is a top-10 receiver in slot points per game. So this matchup against Amik Robertson in the slot is a match made in heaven for Kirk. At only $5,500 on DraftKings, we just need Kirk to get to 16.5 for a three-times return on investment, and with another healthy dose of targets and a trip to the end zone, I see Kirk getting back over 20 this week.

Dart Throw – Robbie Anderson – $3,800 – If you’re going to use Kyler in a Cardinals stack, you can throw a dart at a super low-priced Robbie Anderson. He hasn’t caught a pass yet as a Cardinal, but Kliff Kingsbury said this week that he wants Anderson to have a bigger role this week as he gets more accustomed to the offense. It’s risky, but it’s a dart throw that could certainly pay off if he gets behind the defense and catches a touchdown.

Tight End:

Pay Up – Zach Ertz – $5,100– With Kelce and Andrews both playing prime-time games this week, we can save money while still paying up at tight end this week. I mentioned Ertz earlier when talking about Kyler, and he is a good option to pair with Kyler if you go with a Cardinals stack. The matchup against the Seahawks is the best one possible for tight ends as they allow the most points in the league to the tight end position. Ertz gets the snaps, gets the targets and gets a great matchup… sign me up.

Pay Down – Evan Engram – $3,300 – I really don’t understand why Engram’s salary hasn’t gone up on DraftKings, but I will happily accept the discount while putting him in my lineup to complete the Jaguars stack. Engram has been heavily targeted as a big part of the Jacksonville game plan and gets a matchup against a Raiders defense that ranks 30th in the league against the tight end position. He is coming off back-to-back double-digit performances, and a third one will get us that three-times return on our investment that we look for.

Defense:

Pay Up – Vikings – $3,500 – The Vikings are playing very well, and their defense is coming off a game where they had two interceptions and four sacks. They have 10 sacks over their last two games, forcing six turnovers in that span. They’re a good play at this price against a backup quarterback.

Pay Down – Colts – $2,700– The Colts haven’t been playing good football, but that is mostly because of their offense. They have scored six or more fantasy points in five of their eight games this season and get to face a Patriots offense that isn’t exactly a juggernaut. A low-priced defense with a few playmakers who should get you a solid baseline in points can be the way to save money and get some studs in your lineup this week.

JB’s Example “Double Up” Lineup:

QB – Trevor Lawrence

RB – Aaron Jones

RB – Josh Jacobs

WR- Justin Jefferson

WR- Christian Kirk

WR- Terry McLaurin

TE – Evan Engram

Flex – Robbie Anderson

DST – Colts
