Well, seeing as how Thursday Night Football once again lowered the bar in terms of “quality”, more specifically, in terms of “nap quality was good because this game was boring as sh*t”, we really have no where to go but up. Granted, I’m seeing a Browns-Dolphins matchup here that’s already triggering me slightly, I’m sure the Ravens-Jaguars game will only… oh geez, who are we kidding? Alright, alright, it’s not all doom and gloom, as the Washington-Giants game should be full of derp, the Broncos and Bengals should be pretty interesting, and the Panthers will try their best to make sure Sam Bradford regresses to the mean. But what my lede presupposes is, maybe they won’t?

Be sure to check out Start and Sits for today’s games here, along with updated projections (which finished fourth overall last week), by clicking here. And as always, our updated rankings are available after the jump!

Select the “Flex” tab if you need a more complete picture to decide your starts and sits. Use the “OP” tab for 2QB Leagues. And you can access our Half PPR and PPR rankings using the drop down box in the top left of our rankings when you select the RB, WR, TE, or Flex positions. Any and all questions will be answered below…

  1. Bull in a Chinese Restaurant says:
    (link)

12 team redraft (keep 6 per year) with max 6 RB’s and 6 WR’s (start 3 each and 2 flexes). max 4 TE’s, and i’m noticing i’m better off probably keeping 4 TE’s rather than 4 LB’s, due to strength of LB’s out there (start 2, and i have 3 top 7 types). have allen/ebron/rudolph, who’s best stash out of these: gates/henry/doyle (extra value maybe with allen in case either went out)/r.griffin

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bull in a Chinese Restaurant: I would say you have them in the correct order. I know Gates is doubtful, but I still like him moving forward.

  2. SunnyB says:
    (link)

Riddick, Baldwin or Michael Floyd in a half point per? Thx.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@SunnyB: Going Riddick, but Baldwin was close.

  3. Hometown Heroes says:
    (link)

Rashad Jennings for Devante Parker in a standard league.

I have Charles, David Johnson, ware, McKinnon and Jennings
Wr- Hopkins, Floyd, Crabtree and Enawu

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Hometown Heroes: Yeah, I like Jennings slightly more, but you don’t need him, you need a WR. Fair trade, I’d do it.

  4. Blake says:
    (link)

so T benjamin or S Diggs for my flex spot? PPR League

based on rankings I am guessing I do benjamin but isnt diggs up for a monster workload because of no running game?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Blake: Benjamin, but it’s close. I agree with you on Diggs, but I’m kinda scared of that matchup against the Panthers defense.

  5. Wide Right says:
    (link)

    PPR League..
Start Jordan Matthews or DeVante Parker?

and at my RB2: Start Coleman or Giovani? ( I also have Hyde but not giving him much of a
    chance against SEA)

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Wide Right: Matthews and, hmm, close one. Leaning Coleman there.

  6. Nick says:
    (link)

Hey Jay, I’m in a bind…I have Marshall who is suppose to be on a snap-count and I have Maclin & Snead also in my lineup…with Travis Benjamin sitting on my bench, I’d like to get him in but not sure who to bench…I have a bad feeling this week (going against college roommate who had Blount hang 22.5 on me already) especially with Snead having a toe injury & playing Monday night…

I was going to grab Quincy & plug him in if Marshall sat but now I’m not sure what to do!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Nick: Yeah, I’m about to adjust the rankings a bit on Marshall, I’d say Benjamin is a safe pick here.

      • Nick says:
        (link)

@Jay: Benjamin in for who though? I’m nervous about Snead Monday night with that toe injury…

The safe play is to grab Enunwa & plug in for Marshall. Than pull out Snead & throw in Benjamin. & have Maclin…but not sure the ‘safe’ play is correct seeing I’m already down nearly 23 pts.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Nick: Probably for Maclin right now. He’s a coinflip with Snead though… tough one there.

  7. the imp says:
    (link)

    Hey Jay and others,

Enjoying my coffee and looking for upside on this 12 team PPR with shallow bench where we start 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE with no flex. My current roster is solid, but unless somebody besides David J emerges as a week winning threat, I might struggle to compete for a title.

    My team is:
    Manning
    DavidJ/Shady/Gio/Ivory
    Hilton/Edelman/JMatthews/DJax/Crabtree
    Ebron

The best on the wire are:
    QB: Tanne/Prescott/Taylor
RB: speculative adds like D. Washington (DET)/Asiata/CAP(CAR)
    WR: Austin/JohnBrown/CColeman/Kwhite/MThomas
    TE: Pitta/Fleener/Barnidge

Anybody see a slam dunk change (especially at RB4 or TE?)? Thanks for taking a minute to look through this mess of a question.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@the imp: I wouldn’t say that, solid but not spectacular teams sometimes are better. Yeah, no slam dunks there, I think Ivory coming back will basically be the same thing as an Asiata or Washington, with a chance to get primary back volume. So I’m not fretting here. (Though, streaming your TE might work, as I like Pitta this week, but Fleener slightly more going forward than Ebron.)

      • The imp says:
        (link)

@Jay: Thank you. I should take streaming TE seriously with Eryz and Eifert out on waivers for later too.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@The imp: totally, lots of nice names there.

  8. OppoTaco says:
    (link)

    Cruz or Cobb .5 Ppr
    Gio/cmike/Coleman I need two of 3!
And which TE to stream, I’m without gates. Hunter Henry, cook, Jesse James, v Mcdonald,z Miller or j Cameron.
    Thanks !

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@OppoTaco: Sicking with Cobb there, and then Cmike and Coleman. Go with Jesse James. Good luck!

  9. malen says:
    (link)

Our league has an ir slot, trying to figure out if Dion Lewis or Corey coleman is worth holding there (or hold both?) Currently have my eye on Enunwa, Darkwa or a backup to L. Murray. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@malen: I’d hold Dion for sure… Coleman, release when you need to. Enunwa is okay, but I think you’re fine either way.

  10. BC says:
    (link)

McKinnon for Hilton in a standard league?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      I’d want Hilton there.

  11. Allan says:
    (link)

    Jay
Got Demarco, Lacy, and Charles Simms in a ppr. Can’t decide between Lacy and Simms as my rb2. Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Allan: PPR makes me think Sims here.

  12. Charles says:
    (link)

V JAX is available in my 0.4 PPR league. Would you add him and drop any of:

    Sharpe
    Lockett
    Burns
    Shepard

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Charles: He has the highest floor, but I like the names you have.

  13. omar says:
    (link)

Snead questionable with a toe. Should I replace him in the flex with Devante Parker or Tyrell Williams? Also have Michael Thomas to plug in if Snead is a no-go on Monday. Take a risk and wait til tomorrow, or play someone today? PPR

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@omar: Wait and see, but I’m liking Williams today if pregame looks worrisome

  14. William Hung says:
    (link)

@Jay – I should play Matt Jones over Gio Bernard in a .5 PPR league? Didn’t the G-Men just shut down Mark Ingram last week?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@William Hung: They nees to eatablish a run game, living in DC, this is the weeks slogan out here… we’ll see

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

@Jay: Yeah, but the G-Men run D has been top notch – unless the skins have the mentality that whatever happens the first 10-12 carries, they will stay with the run game. Hopefully they won’t be like the Bengals and bail on the run game.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@William Hung: small sample size as well, but yeah, Giants run defense has been on point.

  15. Jimbo says:
    (link)

    PPR.. Coleman or Vereen today?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Jimbo: Coleman.

  16. Vito Genovese says:
    (link)

@ Jay — Should i play Langford over Ivory? I got a feeling Jags play well and Ivory scores. And, Dorsett or Tajae Sharpe? Reports coming in is, Hilton plays the slot and Dorsett will be covered by Vereen. Whats ur take? Thanks muchoooo. ASAP!! And thx again

  17. Comatose says:
    (link)

Looking for a second opinion here. Start three (standard): Latavius, Langford, Ware, Diggs

    Thanks.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Comatose: Murrey, Ware, Diggs.

  18. letsgo says:

    nyj @ kc
    ravens @ jaguars

    • letsgo says:

@letsgo: rams available as well vs TB

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

        @letsgo: Rams then.

  19. Kenneth Dean says:
    (link)

    PPR Half point,

    Theo riddick vs spencer ware

Brandon Marshall vs VJAX vs torrey smith? I gotta find an alternative to Marshall by 1pm

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Kenneth Dean: Ware, and I’m fine with Marshall if pregame looks okay.

  20. db says:
    (link)

LOL only took me 3 years in fantasy baseball to be good because i stopped taking troy tulowitzki in the first round.

Remind me next year not to draft watkins if i ever want to start being good at fantasy football

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@db: haha, I’m sure the Bills feel the same. Maybe. They should.

  21. Big league choo says:
    (link)

    10 team standard league

My Jeremy Hill for Carlos Hyde

My other rbs are McCoy, j Stewart, sims,

Leaning towards holding as I’m starting sims this week…hill’s schedule has been tough, and the 49ers in general Are a dumpster fire.

  22. db says:
    (link)

Watkins out in ppr keeper league, can only keep 1 and perriman drafted 15th round, kevin white 9th round, jordan howard 16th round

Replace him with guys on bench

    perriman, white only two options

    whittaker,gates, jordan howard, coleman’

or drop one of those guys for britt, goodwin, woods, tavon

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@db: your bench actually looks pretty good. Holding is fine.

    Vereen or Ajayi
    Thanks for everything you do!

    • Jay

Thoughts on Hilton VS. Snead this week?

    • KG says:
      (link)

      @KG:

… and is it lunacy to start Shepard over Robinson?

      ‘TOO’ ninja?

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

        @KG: daring, not crazy. Haha

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @KG: probably Hilton.

  27. Dan says:
    (link)

I’m tempted to drop Rudolph and go all in with Hunter Henry today (I’m an Ertz owner). Should I make the move?

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Dan: sure, same thing to me… could be a sneaky play

      • Dan says:
        (link)

        Whoops…

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Dan: Yeah, kinda silly Rudolf picked today. But don’t count Henry out… still might help.

          • Dan says:
            (link)

Do you think it’s time to start taking Rudolph/Bradford rapport serious and we could be looking at a career year for him? Or is this just a good stretch of games for Kyle?

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@Dan: I’m always going to wait for the other shoe to drop, but it’s hard to dismiss a win against the Panthers.

  28. A bag of sand says:

    Thanks dude

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      Cap and McKinnon

  30. Charles says:
    (link)

Please pick 3 in 0.5 ppr

    Ingram
    Latavius
    Ware
    Michael
    Artis-Payne

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Charles: your first three work.

  31. josh sutton says:
    (link)

Which one starts in ppr league
kevin white, britt, perriman, goodwin, woods

  32. William Hung says:
    (link)

@Jay: Do preseason rankings include SOS? For example, Jeremy Hill was a pretty highly drafted RB but his early season schedule was not good for his value early on. Another example, Matt Ryan and Derek Carr were late round QBs with really nice early season match ups and have proven to be fruitful. DeAngelo Williams was a late round (7th – 8th Rd) RB but those who jumped on him easily got an RB1 – bumping him up 2-3 rounds would’ve been well worth it to help move your team to a solid start while navigating the land mines that is the RB position by the time Le’Veon Bell comes back.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@William Hung: a little bit, but it’s hard to formulate such an unknown.

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

@Jay: I think that’d be a huge advantage on draft day if someone was able to do that

  33. A bag of sand says:
    (link)

Vereen or L Murray no ppr

  34. William Hung says:
    (link)

I’m getting blasted early – Bortles, Bernard, Walsh aka Minny offense just giving me nothing so far into the 2nd quarter. This is shaping up to be another rough week for me.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@William Hung: Still early (I know you’ve heard that before), but things can change rapidly.

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

@Jay: Cobb is starting to shape up as a ticker tease

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@William Hung: Yeah, surprised you didn’t mention Jones, haha. We’ll see. I’m stuck on redzone, so haven’t seen much of the Was game yet.

          • William Hung says:
            (link)

@Jay: I benched Jones and the Giants run D has been on point – though it hasn’t mattered much since I started Bernard and he hasn’t done anything either.

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@William Hung: Bernard actually does that until he breaks one out. Probably the least productive backs unless he gets one or two big plays.

              • William Hung says:
                (link)

@Jay: I need Rodgers to start looking Cobb’s way

                • William Hung says:
                  (link)

@William Hung: BTW, #LOLSKINS on that terrible play calling to end the 1st half

                  • Jay

                    Jay says:
                    (link)

@William Hung: I think Kirk Cousins is shit at this point. Dude doesn’t know how to handle the clock or pressure.

  35. William Hung says:
    (link)

I read that Emmanuel Sanders complained about his role so far this season – and has 2 TDs today… wish Cobb had that same passion

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@William Hung: I’m sure no one questions Rodgers in that locker room.

      • William Hung says:
        (link)

@Jay: Good point, so real talk – Cobb is probably finishing around 4-5 points this week. And will make 3 weeks of declining production. Is he a bye week filler instead of every week starter? Like how patient are we going to be with him? Is he the NFL’s version of Justin Upton?
