  1. KVC

    cleaver596 says:

    need to start one flex and one wr in a PPR league.

    Ronnie brown vs. pit
    Michael bush vs den
    mcfadden vs den
    roy williams vs phi
    louis murphy vs den

    Leaning towards bush at flex and williams at wr

  2. PatriotsFTW says:

    What 3 Rbs should I start
    Chris Johnson vs PHI
    Rashard Mendenhall vs MIA
    Cedric Benson vs ATL
    Chris ivory vs CLE

  3. elwood blues says:

    With The Fightin’ Britt not starting.. who should I start at my WR3…

    Murph (OAK) or D.Thomas (DEN)??

    Watch Britt sit out one drive and then catch 3TD’s later (that’s been my luck this year)

  4. nate says:

    Hey Doc!

    I’m thinking of benching MJD in favor of Forte this week. I’m not at all impressed with him especially after watching an entire game of his “work” last Monday night. My other starters are M.Turner and J.Charles.
    Crazy to bench MJD for Forte or do it?
    With that no-name QB for the Jags the Chiefs can just stack the box, like the Titans did, and shut down MJD. On the other hand, outside of a handful of TDs Forte’s running has been putrid. What to do?
    Thanks Doc!!

  5. IgnatiusJReilly says:

    non PPR flex play

    Mike Williams(TB)

    also,non PPR flex play

    B. Jacobs

  6. Dentist says:

    Tough choice today at RB2…M Bush staving off McFadden @Denver, or Torain @Chicago. Save me Doc, make one of them a good play.

  7. Doc

    Doc says:

    @cleaver596: agreed

    @PatriotsFTW: I’d sit Torain

    @elwood blues: I’d still lean Britt

    @nate: I agree. MJD is not safe today.

    @Dentist: Hah, tough decision. I’m leaning Torain, but don’t love either.

  8. PatriotsFTW says:

    @ doc I don’t have torain. I have Benson, Chris Johnson, Mendenhall. And ivory….which 3 should I start?

  9. Doc

    Doc says:

    @PatriotsFTW: wow, not sure where I got that! I’d sit Benson

  10. MikeD says:

    Howdy, Patrick Crayton or Knox… waddaya think?

  11. Doc

    Doc says:

    @MikeD: Knox

  12. MikeD says:

    Actually, I sort of cant stand playing Knox… no TDs. Would you consider dropping him for Meachum or Danario Alexander? My other WRs are good, so it would pretty much be like a high upside bench guy.

  13. Mike says:

    Johnny Knox or Hines Ward in a PPR this week?

  14. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Mike: Ward

  15. timmy riggins says:

    @Doc: now that sundays here, want to see where you stand on my lineup, thanks again

    10 team .5ppr

    1 QB – Big Ben or Flacco
    2 RB – RICE, ivory, thomas jones, felix jones, mcfadden, Woodhead
    3 WR – MARSHALL, bowe, crabtree, woodhead, (have the rights to crayton if desparate)
    1 flex – rb/wr from above

    was thinking of keeping the flex slot open to see how mcfadden is by the later game and if hes good, plug him in, if hes not 100% then id have to decide between woodhead and felix jones for the flex spot….however: rice, ivory, thomas jones all have nice matchups and 1pm game times too…

    What are your thoughts? Thanks again

  16. beezee05 says:

    Need 3 for a non PPR league. TO, Austin. LMoore, TB Mike Williams, Nicks.

  17. Mike says:

    Errrr… let me clarify that.

    Let’s make it pick 2 in a PPR… Knox, Ward, Torain?

  18. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Mike: Ward/Torain

    @beezee05: Austin, TO, Nicks

    @timmy riggins: Big Ben
    RICE, ivory, MARSHALL, bowe, crabtree, Felix

  19. timmy riggins says:

    @Doc: and is owen daniels and thomas jones for jamaal charles a fair/reasonable offer to the guy who just lost dallas clark for the season?

  20. Doc

    Doc says:

    @timmy riggins: Depends on how much they value JC. It’s a pretty low ball offer, but you can try.

  21. MJD Took A Knee says:

    Still starting Charles & Hillis over Torain/Lynch?

    Lynch is a start of the week in some places and the weather is going to be bad. KC could have the ball all day though.

    Anthony G out indefinitely geez

  22. Nathan says:

    Hi Doc.

    In a .5 PPR, which TWO would you start:

    Mike Williams (Tampa)

  23. money says:

    PPR League – Watson or Heap today? Ivory or Knowshon?

  24. nick m. says:

    I need to fill 2 RB, 1 WR, and 1 Flex spot with: McFadden, Torrain, Woodhead (RB/WR eligible), Ivory, Crayton, Branch, Meachem. Your picks in a PPR?

  25. Randy says:

    With Anthony Gonzalez now out indefinitely. Is Blair White worth the add?

  26. IgnatiusJReilly says:

    Doc-question on my flex position in two seperate leagues,both non PPR,who should I go with?

    Driver,Woodhead,or Mike Williams(TB)?

    also:Meachem,Jacobs,or Woodhead

  27. SpiralArchitect says:

    PPR – I give up Torain and Tate, I get Bowe and Dez Bryant. Do it?

  28. SpiralArchitect says:

    One more: Favre or Orton (no negs for INTs).

  29. Calogero says:

    Doc, word out of Miami is that there are strong winds and expected rainstorms…does this change anything regarding WR on both teams (for my purposes specifically, Mike Wallace)

  30. Doc

    Doc says:

    @SpiralArchitect: ugh, I like both a lot. Leaning Favre with no negatives for INTs

  31. Dani says:

    Flex Crabtree or Felix Jones?

  32. Howie says:

    @Doc: Saw your Tweet re: Floyd’s hamstring. I’ve picked up Carolina SS for this week. Two questions in an non-PPR:

    1) Vincent Jackson is on the WW in one of my leagues…go ahead and nab him for Floyd at this point?
    2) Regarding Carolina SS– Mike X Williams over him going forward?

  33. beezee05 says:

    Doc, TGonz or Devery Henderson in a TE/WR/RB Flex PPR spot?

  34. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Calogero: I’d stick with him unless your backup is really close

    @Howie: I’d stick with Smith and probably lean going with VJax now. But make sure Davis/Crayton aren’t available

  35. Calogero says:

    I have Wallace in at flex with Knox and Felix Jones on the bench. Knox and Wallace are similar players and will be playing in similar conditions, so I don’t think I’d bench Wallace for Knox. But what about Felix?

  36. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Calogero: Might be a little safer play.

  37. beezee05 says:

    @Doc – PPR Aaron Hernandez or Tony Moeaki?

  38. Commish Cauda (formerly Mike) says:

    Britt or Dez Bryant?

  39. Al-D says:

    Gates or Marcedes Lewis?

  40. Joel says:

    Last minute: Nicks is traveling. Nicks or Hines?

  41. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Joel: Nicks

  42. abell says:

    mike wallace or marshawn lynch in the flex?

  43. Doc

    Doc says:

    @abell: Lynch

  44. bobbo says:

    @Doc: Most droppable guy in a PPR league (my Jets D is on a bye):

    Roy Williams, Mike Simes-Walker, Danny Amendola, Mike Thomas

  45. Doc

    Doc says:

    @bobbo: Thomas

  46. Doug says:

    Sit or start? A few leagues running here:

    Need 2- Percy Harvin, Kenny Britt, Mike Wallace, Michael Jenkins?

    Matt Ryan or Matt Cassell?

    CJ Spiller or McFadden?

    Crabtree vs. Mike Williams (Sea)?

  47. Commish Cauda (formerly Mike) says:

    different league…0.5ppr

    Anthony Armstrong or Dez Bryant?

  48. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Doug: Harvin, Wallace

  49. bobbo says:

    @Doc: Really? I thought Thomas jumped MSW in the depth chart… am I crazy to want to drop MSW?

  50. Doc

    Doc says:

    @bobbo: It’s a week to week thing. No real #1. MSW has more upside.

  51. MJD Took A Knee says:

    Let’s got Tebow! Take some TDs away from Moreno

  52. Doug says:

    Tony Moeaki vs Aaron Hernandez?

  53. Commish Cauda (formerly Mike) says:

    last one, thanks

    Danario Alexander or Mike Williams (TB)?

  54. bobbo says:

    @Doc: Start 3 per league, 1PPR, 1pt per 20yd rec, +5 at 100yds

    League 1:
    Crabtree, Williams (SEA), Wallace, Roy Williams, Amendola, MSW

    League 2:
    TO, Welker, Gaffney, Williams (TBB), Witten, Mike Thomas

  55. bobbo says:

    @Doc: Also, drop any in League 1 for Danario?

  56. Doc

    Doc says:

    @bobbo: Crabs, Wallace, Williams

  57. Doc

    Doc says:

    @bobbo: I’d drop Thomas/MSW for Alexander

  58. bobbo says:

    @Doc: Thanks, those were my starting lineups. Dropped Thomas for a weekly D/ST. Will drop MSW for Alexander. No way someone picks up both JAX wr and I can pick one back up after this week for my crap D/ST. Thanks as always!

  59. Hennessey says:

    I’ll hire anyone who reads this to Tonya Harding Thomas Jones. Extra if Todd Haley’s hurt too.

  60. Howie says:

    @Doc: Now that Kenny Britt will become the darling of the waiver wire in those leagues where he is still available…exactly where does he stack up the rest of the way in a non-PPR? Upon examination of my rosters I don’t see how he surpasses AJ or Megatron, but how about Nicks, Santana, Jennings, and Carolina Smith? Where would he be slotted among that crowd?

  61. Howie says:

    @Doc: Is DeAngelo even an RB2 at this point?

  62. Howie says:

    Guess I should have started RunDMC this week…

  63. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Howie: Not looking good. He was hurt toward the end of the game. Maybe he can make the decision easier for us.

    @Howie: I just can’t see the Titans becoming a team that passes enough to give Britt anything near these numbers again. I couldn’t drop any of those guys myself.

  64. Drew Crew says:

    ok so somehow im about to fall to 3-4 in a 12 team ppr league with this team: Big Ben/Cutler, Andre Johnson, Miles Austin, Wes Welker, Arian Foster, Jahvid Best, LeSean McCoy, Jamaal Charles, Chris Cooley. Should i quit fantasy football?

  65. Hennessey says:

    Pour one out on the curb for the guy who benched McFadden and Britt.

  66. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Drew Crew: Hah, no.

    @Hennessey: That’s painful. Both were iffy coming into today. Insane that they went off like this.

  67. Howie says:

    @Doc: Yet you started McFadden? Over whom? Congrats.

  68. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Howie: Over Deji Karim! Deep league.

  69. matt says:

    yea so can we go ahead and cut bait on ryan mathews? this fucker is killing me

  70. Vaporizers says:

    Hey Doc, right now I can trade Matt Forte and Santana Moss for Andre Johnson and Darren McFadden.

    No brainer right? I should pull that trigger, right?

  71. Vaporizers says:

    OR I can get Moreno instead of RunDMC

  72. Doc

    Doc says:

    @Vaporizers: I like both pretty equally. I’d lean McFad.

  73. Randy says:

    I need DEF for next week.
    OAK at home agianst Seattle or
    Tampa at Arizona

  74. Nick says:

    @Doc: I have Baltimore D on a bye next week…after another poor fantasy performance (8pts), do I drop them for Seattle, NE, Atlanta, Washington going forward… or drop my 2nd TE H Miller (I have Cooley but will need a fill-in week 9 bye). 10 team league, Heap & Moeaki, Watson are on my waivers…

  75. Nick says:

    @Doc: Also if you think I gotta hold Baltimore the options for a week 8 fill would be Tampa, Seattle, Dallas, St. Louis, Oakland…

  76. Black Beard says:

    Facing Britt and Fitzpatrick (bye-week replacement) sure was fun this week. Fortunately, no McFadden. Unfortunately, not even close to winning.

  77. Wilsonian says:

    I love being in 1st place and playing the last place team to only watch DMC ride the pine for me, and the other guy get 21 points out of DeAngelo Hall and also score the most points he has all season. Why do I hate a sport that I love so much?
