Welcome to the edition of the Primer…I mean Game Day…I mean, Prime Day! Sure, that won’t infringe any copyrights. Welcome to Razzball Prime Day, brought to you by soft pillows and marshmallows. We’re in one of the weirdest finishes to  a fantasy football season that we’ve ever seen, and I’ve been fantasy footballering since the newspaper days. And, to be entirely honest, this is my first time in my fantasy sports writing career where I honestly don’t know what to write. The number of players being held out of games this week is staggering; last week over 100 personnel missed games and 3 games were rescheduled. So, rather than do my usual primer spiel, I think it’s more productive to keep this post up for a longer time period and offer my question answering services for a longer period of time.

Before we all go our separate ways after the end of the fantasy football season, it’s worthwhile to stop and reflect on the year that was 2021 Fantasy Football:

  • Donkey Teeth was the highest ranker on Jonathan Taylor in the industry. Merry Christmas you filthy animals.
  • I had a top overall finish and a #6 finish in the Fantasy Pros Rankings Accuracy competition this year. I also had a #20 finish (out of nearly 200 rankers).
  • The Joey Wright had a top 10 Fantasy Pros Ranking Accuracy finish one of these weeks but I’m too lazy to find the tweet saying where he finished. Congrats The Joey! I’m sending you a Christmas turkey.
  • 373 pieces of content since July. According to a trustworthy calculator I found online, that’s around 670 pages of content. And you thought my book was boring.
  • JB had a baby, The Joey started a multimedia empire, I got a new job, DT discovered NFTs, Rudy took a much needed break, Kirksey watched a lot of TV, Steve Paulo got promoted, and probably a bunch of other things I don’t know about or forgot.

This is my last fantasy football entry for the year as Donkey Teeth will take you across the finish line next week. This is your chance to AMA with EverywhereBlair, and please keep in mind that it’s a [checks notes] federal holiday, so please don’t be offended if I don’t answer immediately. The internet tells me we are in the midst of the War on Christmas, so please be aware that supply chain issues in fantasy football advice could apply.

And for you fantasy baseball fans: Razzball Fantasy Baseball pre-season starts up the second week of January. Hope to see you there.
