  1. FIZZ says:
    (link)

    Need to start a flex.
Cohen, golladay, rod smith, blount, corey coleman.

Doctson is available on the waiver. Should i add and start him ?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@FIZZ: Yeah, I like Docston over those guys.

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@FIZZ: yes I’d add and start him

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

      @FIZZ: Send it.

  2. PaulZone says:
    (link)

    PPR League decisions:

    Darkwa or Woodhead?

Chargers (vs Bilks/J Peterman) or Lions (@ Chi)?

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @PaulZone: Darkwa. And then Chargers.

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@PaulZone: I’d go Woodhead and the Chargers

    • PaulZone says:
      (link)

@PaulZone: Both like Chargers but split decision on Woodhead/Darkwa. Either of you feel strongly about one over the other or is this pretty much a coin flip?

      • MB

        Unbreakable_MB says:
        (link)

@PaulZone: mine isn’t strong. Darkwa might actually be safer. I like Woodhead against the Packers D, a lot. Just unsure of workload

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

      @PaulZone: Darkwa and Chargers

      • PaulZone says:
        (link)

@Zach: thanks all. I’m going to go darkwa as I have the same concern about woodhead’s first game back

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@PaulZone: Knowing him, his acl will explode before he takes the field.

  3. Normandy says:
    (link)

alf-PPR 12 team, would you bench Alfred Morris in favor of Woodhead this week, and start any of Ivory, Corey Coleman, Clay, Zay, Rod Smith or Keeren Cole in the flex? (If so, which one!) thx

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

@Normandy: I would keep Morris because we don’t know what Woodhead’s role will be just yet in this offense with Alex Collins still in the mix, and out of those guys I would go with Ivory if Fournette is out, and if he plays, I’d go Clay.

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@Normandy: yes, bench Morris, it’s a horrible matchup. Woodhead especially in half PPR. Ivory if Fournette doesn’t play otherwise probably Coleman has the best chance to make a big play

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Normandy: Going Ivory there along with Morris.

  4. Sam says:
    (link)

Non PPR: Watkins, Benjamin, or Amendola?

    and Crowell or Burkhead?

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

      @Sam: Amendola and Crowell

        • MB

          Unbreakable_MB says:
          (link)

          @Sam: anytime!

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

@Sam: I’d go with Amendola and Crowell as well

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Sam: With these two find gents, Amendola and Crowell.

  5. Jason Zhang says:
    (link)

    Hi razzball staff,
    Standard league.
    Crowder or Aghorlor

Pick 2 out of these RBs
    Crowell
    Abdulla
    Darkwa
    A. Collins

    Thank you

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

      @Jason Zhang: Agholor
And I’d go with Crowell and Abdullah

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

@Jason Zhang: Agholor, Crowell and Collins

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jason Zhang: With Zach’s iteration. Abby is close though.

  6. Brent

    Brent says:
    (link)

    Hey guys;

so I can start 3 of these:

Woodhead, rod smith, engram, jeffery, Lee

    Who would you start?

On a side note: would you drop rod smith for David Johnson this week? I should make the playoffs

    Thanks

    Tfd

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@Brent: Engram, Jeffery and Lee, I think that they all have big games

      • Brent

        Brent says:
        (link)

@Unbreakable_MB: Awesome. That’s who I have in, just so tempted to play Woodhead against packers after holding him so long…

Would you waive rod smith for DJ? Someone just dropped him..I had drafted DJ originally but had to waive during bye weeks. I am probably a playoff team, but would need miracle to win it all. Is DJ my miracle?

        • MB

          Unbreakable_MB says:
          (link)

@Brent: I doubt he plays this year but Rod Smith won’t be useful week 16 so if ur never gonna play Rod Smith, it’s worth a shot

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

@Brent: I’m with my colleague here

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Brent: Yeah, MB has it right here.

      • Brent

        Brent says:
        (link)

        @Jay: Thanks guys!

My other RBs are Woodhead, McKinnon, Mack, and Drake along with Smith…so it’s unlikely I’ll play smith over any of them…but if Morris was to get hurt then Smith could end up being huge…and DJ may barely help…ok, you guys are right…the DJ dream is over..

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Brent: May not be over, but it’s completely delayed, that’s for sure.

  7. SunnyB says:
    (link)

Crowell or Woodhead in full pt PPR? Thx.

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

@SunnyB: Crowell. We don’t know how Woodhead will fit back into this offense after the injury, and Crowell has a good matchup

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@SunnyB: Crowell, Zach has it here, I want to see what Woody does first.

  8. Brent

    Brent says:
    (link)

One last league I’m torn on:

    Pick 1:

Mixon, doug martin, jamal williams, ajayi, darkwa

    Thanks!

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

      @Brent: Ajayi!

      • Brent

        Brent says:
        (link)

@Zach: Cool, that’s who i had in along with hunt.. I drafted ajayi as my first RB, I hope he can make me stop regretting it

        • Zach

          Zach says:
          (link)

@Brent: It’s a great matchup this week as the Cowboys will be without Sean Lee.

        • MB

          Unbreakable_MB says:
          (link)

          @Brent: Ajayi

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Brent: Tempted with Martin, but I think Ajayi is your best bet there.

  9. tittsburgh Feelers says:
    (link)

Howdy top of the morning fellas! I’m gonna need all the good vibes this week , seeing what you think of my starting lineup & any changes you’d make:

    My team:

    QB Dak

    RB1 Gordon vs bills
    RB2 hunt @ Giants

    WR1 Baldwin vs Falcons
    WR2 Keenan allen vs bills
    WR3 tyreek hill @ Giants

    Flex Jamaal Williams vs Ravens

    TE Austin hooper @ Seahawks

    Kicker matt Bryant @ Seattle

IDP I stream here ; thinking either KJ Wright, de’vondre campbell, Byron jones or Anthony hitchens.

    D i haven’t picked one debating between:
    Ravens D @ GB
Chargers D home vs bills no tyrod
    Bengals D @ Denver
    Or Broncos D hosting bengals.

    My bench: McKinnon, Parker, AP.

I have an open bench slot who would you add: josh Gordon, Inman, mike Williams or Tyler kroft?

    Here’s my opponent

QB Big Ben: TNF 36 points

RB1 Demarco Murray TNF 7.5 points
    RB2: kamara

    WR1: Emmanuel sanders
    WR2 Kelvin Benjamin
    WR3 Jaron brown

    TE Ertz

    Flex Dion Lewis

    IDP burficit

    D Steelers TNF 26 points

    Kicker vinatieri bye

    Thanks guys!!

Also are there any bad weather games to keep an eye out for today?

    • Zach

      Zach says:
      (link)

@tittsburgh Feelers: Morning! I’d go Chargers D, and the bad weather games should be KC-NYG and CLE-JAX. Everything else is G2G

      • MB

        Unbreakable_MB says:
        (link)

@Zach: *whispers* the overs usually cover in bad weather games because the offense comes out of the huddle knowing the plays so the weather is a disadvantage to the defense

        • Zach

          Zach says:
          (link)

@Unbreakable_MB: *whispers* I understand your point but as a -10.5 favorite I could see Kansas City wanting to keep the ball on the ground if the wind gusts are pretty bad that could hinder their passing production. Same with Cleveland and Jacksonville.

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@tittsburgh Feelers: morning! I’d grab Tyler Kroft and start him over Hooper. Denver is horrible against TEs. (AVG 83 yards against). Chargers D for me as well and I’d start KJ Wright

      • tittsburgh Feelers says:
        (link)

        @Unbreakable_MB:

Thanks! Should I be worried with the weather for tyreek hill/ hunt in jersey (MetLife)?

        • MB

          Unbreakable_MB says:
          (link)

@tittsburgh Feelers: the weather is good for Hill and Hunt. Both elusive, gives them an advantage

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@tittsburgh Feelers: Good vibes as always! I like the lineup, but Zach makes a great point, I like the Chargers defense there, and I’d probably add Gordon, because why not?

  10. Dave says:
    (link)

Hey Jay! Making the fantasy playoffs pretty much rides on this week for me. Do I trust Fournette if he’s active (I’m scared of a reduced role) or do I roll with Darkwa in a PPR? Already starting Tevin Coleman in my other RB spot.

    Thanks!

    Dave

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Dave: Good luck first of all, happy you’ve made it this far! I’d put him in if active, but I think Darkwa is the floor guy here. I’m putting him in for a less stressful day. Depends if you want to roll the dice or not.

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@Dave: I would flat out play Darkwa over Fournette. I don’t trust Fournette today

  11. Not your average Joe says:
    (link)

According to Fantasy Pros, Rudy and his machinations have the Cards ranked 13th and Bengals 9th. What’s the rationale, where did he have the Steelers for this week, and how accurate have Rudy’s machinations been this season?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

You can check out his results here. Can’t speak for Rudy, but his tools have been doing better than me in a lot of areas, so if his machine says something, I’d at least consider it.

      https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/accuracy/

    • @Not your average Joe: Hey NYAJ – Jay forwarded this to me on Sunday morning and I was too preoccupied updating my rankings while faking friendliness at the 3rd of 4 weekend kid parties I attended (as a father….i don’t perform fantasy projections at kid parties yet).

My team defense model is basically the sum of the projected team offense but the biggest external factor is, by far, the Vegas implied point totals. I project sacks, turnovers, etc. but it is the projected point totals that typically drive the projections the most.

So the Cincy/Denver game had a Vegas implied score of 20-17.5 Denver. That 20 was about the 10th lowest projected point total of the week. Throw in they have a shitty QB so more interceptions and not surprising I had Cincy 9th.

Houston-Arizona was projected at 20.5-18. So mild difference. Arizona also finished 11th in my rankings so maybe there was some slight line movement. The difference in projected points vs Cincy was 7.38 vs 6.9 points. So tiny stuff.

Pitt was #4 in the rankings.

As for accuracy, I’ve been real happy w/ the progress vs last year on the offense. I’m at #30 going into this week and that is with by far the most divergent from consensus projections in the top 80 or so experts.

My team defense is at #74 so far so definitely room for improvement and I need to go back to square one on my player tackle projections for IDP.

      Hope that helps –
      Rudy

  12. Scott says:
    (link)

K Benjamin or doctson? .5 ppr. That trade has really hurt me at wr. I lost 2 weeks in a row by 3 pts or less. Benjamin not playing one week and then last week He didn’t do anything. Not that doctson has been lighting the world on fire though. Thx

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@Scott: I think Doctson is going to have a big day

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Scott: Yeah, switch it up. I’ve been let down by Benjy too, so Doctson is okay here.

  13. Cram It says:
    (link)

Fournette is active. Do you like Yeldon or Booker? Looking for safe, maybe 5 points. Thanks.

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@Cram It: Booker for 5 points

    • Zach

      Zach says:

@Cram It: Booker now that Fournette is in.

    • Jay

      Jay says:

@Cram It: I think that’s Joe Flacco’s rolling average haha. Booker, sure.

      • Cram It says:

        @Jay: Haha. Thanks fellas.

  14. PaulZone says:

    PPR League:

    Drake or Jamaal Williams

    Thanks

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

      @PaulZone: Jamaal Williams. Volume based.

  15. Jdred5 says:
    (link)

    Tough PPR calls:

    1) Fitz or Ertz at flex (have Gronk at TE) – I know Ertz is ranked barely higher above but I’m waffling … maybe the argument for Ertz is that we don’t know what Gabbart will do? Also, opponent starting Wentz …

    2) I have Wilson at QB, but I also have Carr and my opponent is starting BOTH Cooper and Crabtree. Try to neutralize that combo in a high scoring game by starting Carr or too cute?

    Thanks!

    • MB

      Unbreakable_MB says:
      (link)

@Jdred5: I’d start Ertz, he should eat.

      Too cute, star Wilson

        • MB

          @Jdred5: you’re welcome!

      • When Buying Gifts Don't Confuse the Diary of Hans Frank and Anne Frank says:
        (link)

@Jay: weird ass season when NO’s running and D is so good anybody’d even think to ask to bench breezus at home vs anybody, and cold day in hell kinda weird season when a.smith is that name (not making fun of paul’s zone, i’m sure it’s a nice zone).

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

Never thought I’d see the day. Weird season fits the weird year, honestly.

it’s finally happening brate owners, after 2 weeks of barely behind targeted the super long term talent OJ (the non-murdering one, well assumedly anyway) is now taking the targets. meanwhile walrus is completely giving the old charles treatment to hunt, even post bye. 26 offensive plays that didn’t involve a penalty a big 6 total to hunt thus far. just plain stupid. just like it was for 2-3 years even when charles was healthy.

  19. Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
    (link)

whew, i ALMOST got cute and benched cousins for goff (i’ve hit or missed on that decision other times this year too). WAS in arguably at least as bad a matchup (@ NO vs @ MIN) and he’s missing a LOT of people. and cousins, unlike goff, has looked pretty bad lately till this week. damn i knew i should’ve went off rankings and dropped mack or j.white in another spot and added doctson.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Yeah, and not to kick ya when you’re down, but I’m proud of MB, he wanted everyone to start Doctson this week. He has some crazy good instincts.

      • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
        (link)

@Jay: it’s my ass for not getting to the shepard out news till like 3 minutes left. checked rankings, white about 20 spots higher in half PPR than doctson at FP when indexing for top 30 guys. if he wasn’t playing @ NO i would’ve dropped mack i guess for doctson and started him. probably too early to drop white in case he goes back to earlier season usage. having to start him now this week. in worse news i started cutler this week in biggest money league (lost winston/tyrod lately) now benched. still am projected favorite but i’ll have to get damn lucky on that one, will likely be 5-6 and top team in points.

          • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
            (link)

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: with thompson out for what’s sounding like entire season should i get that waiver in for doctson right now. 12 team half PPR.
            QB bortles/bridgewater
            RB (2) hunt/melgor/j.white/mack/gore
            WR (2) hill/cooks/hilton/shepard
            TE (1) rudolpho
1 flex (can be a TE, will probably be shepard/olsen)
            IR (1 spot) olsen
i have to drop somebody for olsen shortly anyway, gotta be one of white/mack. maybe do not grab doctson here though as my RB are already quite thin depth, with only these in FA: the DEN guys not named CJ, the OAK guys, foreman, lacy, mckissic

            • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
              (link)

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: F’ing sick, cutler’s matchup was awesome and he probably would’ve had 3 TD’s (maybe with 5 picks) had he played the rest of that game. so i’ve now benched winston when i thought he was hurt (he had huge game), played him twice when he was still hurt but it wasn’t reported, tyrod does what he did last week, now cutler. how in the F i’m top team in points in that money league is beyond stupid. obviously probably not in playoffs as of right now at 5-6.

              • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
                (link)

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: now that DT and green have had good games (and neither did at all till the 4th quarters of their games) i could’ve likely picked ANY other starting QB this week (plus tyrod) and won. i’ll still somehow have a good score this week and lose (same as with tyrod last week, winston twice before that). well at least i might be able to be the test case of the best team that actually could miss playoffs, that’s a good story anyway.

                • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
                  (link)

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: just saw the highlights on all 5 picks, only the 1st not his fault.

        @Jay: thanks, Dad!

        • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
          (link)

@Unbreakable_MB: wish i listened, those extra 9.1 pts would’ve possibly turned a loss into a win (well only if melgor wasn’t shut down after hitting 80 yards early since the game was well over but it’d have been close with those 9.1 pts). yeah just checked, MB was nearly 30 spots higher on doctson compared to white. seriously thinking of just dropping white but have such shitty RB depth in that league it’d be for i guess booker/lacy/mckissic. or maybe i hold mack/gore and drop white for olsen being back, i do have to drop somebody.

  20. Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
    (link)

HAHAHAHA, good work BUF coaches. anybody that dropped rodfather might want to get back in the pool, i know i haven’t dropped him in a 2 QB (mostly since i’m fairly sure he starts at ARI next year) and it’s a dynasty. also i ran out of moves and was out of FAAB so i couldn’t have gotten peterman anyway.

    • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
      (link)

@Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo: anybody else drop rodfather this week and noticing that it’s quite possible that he ends up better than cutler and maybe even bortles? hahahaha. i almost left tyrod in over p.lynch in that 2 QB league (won’t matter as i’m about to murder a guy with ONLY fitzmagic starting, albeit i have allen/lee/thielen/both NO RB, ertz etc)

  21. Scott says:
    (link)

Smith the left tackle is out for Dallas. Mcfadden scratched. Do I start morris or rod smith. .5 ppr. I am thinking Phil is going to score some points and Dallas may get behind forcing smith into not playing time. Thx

    • Joey Jo Jo Jr Shabadoo says:
      (link)

@Scott: probably r.smith but both will likely be extremely terribly, re: last week the not good ATL D messed their shit up, bad. like as bad as CLE offensive players bad. PHI is much better than ATL in every facet.

  23. Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey says:

oh my dear god i just need ertz/f.cox to outscore b.graham/m.jenkins by like less than 1 point, if that gets ruled a fumble or a 2 pt conversion it’s a big damn deal as ertz only has 2.8 prior to it and DAL not competing at all.

@Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey: yahoo is literally fluctuating it three times back and forth too. real fun.

@Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey: nope, jenkins/graham killed it on those 2 plays. how many times this year has ertz gotten less than 9.46 points…. yep none.

16 team dynasty PPR with IDP’s (not super deep ones though). i need minimum 7 ARI players at all times. also we can stash any player who cannot play for any reason in IR slots (bye week guys have to come off week after their bye, and we cannot add new players if we leave players able to play in these slots)
QB (start 1, max 2 active, but technically i can have as many active ones as i want from ONE NFL team, and UP TO 1 other from another team this is to ensure you can get your starter’s backup but at same time leaving some options out there for bye weeks/injuries etc) trubisky/flacco/mccown/palmer

    RB (2, max 6 active): perine/drake/j.allen/j.will (GB)/hyde/breida/d.johnson/c.johnson/j.stewart/kelley/hightower

    WR (3, max 7): evans/doctson/m.will (LAC)/t.will (LAC)/j.brown/mart bryant/garcon
    TE (1, max 3): ertz, j.thomas
    1 flex (TE/WR/RB)
    K (1, max 2) lambo, dawson
also for ARI players have ARI DEF, bucannon, mathieu

    1. need to bring up breida/hyde/stewart here, have 1 spot open need to drop 2. what’s best order of dropping: t.will (LAC)/j.allen/j.thomas?

    2. add c.williams WR ARI or RSJ TE ARI first? would seem useful in case either or both of these guys gain value to have them. could drop lambo here (or technically dawson as i’d be adding an ARI player and dawson is literally only on my roster from needing ARI mins and is worse for points than lambo)

c.williams didn’t grade out well at nfl draft tracker 2017, a 5.0, apparently could be better than that but had character issues and is a “project”. meanwhile NSJ wasn’t drafted.

@Crapshoot Kershaw: for reference the other FA WR being: b.coleman, lewis (NYG), king. t.smith and the TE’s are bennett, the new DEN guy, both LAR guys, jonnu etc.

@Crapshoot Kershaw: 1 I have that order. 2. Williams is still okay here, only because your TE situation is just fine.

      Sorry on the late reply!

Not sure if you’ll see this because it’s Tuesday so doing waivers tonight and having some trouble ranking some backs ROS. If you had to drop Ekeler or Mack for Booker, who would be the lucky stash remaining?

    Thanks!

@Eli: My bad on the late reply. I would drop Ekeler. Still have a bit of hope on Mack.

Hey, Jay. Brate, Ebron, or Watson in a full point ppr league?

    14 team PPR
    QB RW3
RB (2) hunt/crowell/morris/mack/j.allen (obv being dropped)
    WR (3) parker/a.brown/fitz/lockett/fuller/goodwin
    TE (1) ASJ
    1 flex
    IR olsen
    1. drop any WR (and which if so) for any of: lafell/golladay
    2. what order of for dropping j.allen: ellington/stewart/marshall (WAS)/c.west/connor

already room for olsen, no need for drops here on that.

super flex, better stash (obv for this year only): yates or stanton (surprisingly stanton was dropped already, this is different 14 teamer than above). i have fitz/goff for starters now.

20 team PPR for WR 5 stick with moncrief or nab one of: king NYG, louis CLE. likely doesn’t have to start and i’d guess moncreif would have big value if hilton went out so probably a hold.

    2. same league: worst RB just became j.allen (unless forte never comes back), obviously dropping him for marshall WAS is my top waiver idea, but if that doesn’t work, hold j.allen (woodhead could ALWAYS get hurt again), or drop for m.davis SEA (hurt himself, out this week at least likely), conner, ivory?
