Razzball Week 15 Rankings
hurting after hunt dropped 40 PT’s vs me….
Start mccafrey or burkhead for an upside play
@Big League choo: They don’t call him Khunt for nothing! I’d say put in Elliot and hope for a reinstatement… or, probably Burkhead for ceiling. I’m just thinking TD’s, and TD’s only.
@Big League choo: hahahahahaha Agree with Jay, the last second reinstatement might be your best bet. Burkhead
Couple close rosters decisions I need help with:
Need 1 for Wr3: Dede or Robert Woods
Need 1 for TE: Vernon, RSJ or Jesse James
@LG Football: Geez, they are literally a coin flip here. Leaning Westbrook ever so slightly due to Bortles matchup. AND RSJ. I think he’ll do really well this week.
@Jay: thanks Jay! Agree these are all close. Hopefully see you in the finals!
@LG Football: Likewise, gl!
@LG Football: Dede and Seals-Jones
Gotta start two of the 4, 0 ppr league: Collins, Davis, Burkhead, Morris. Thoughts?
@Cheeeeeeeze: Going Collins and Davis there.
@Cheeeeeeeze: Collins and Burkhead. I’m not old enough to remember the last time Burkhead didn’t find the endzone. A bit of a stretch but I think it’s 5 straight games
Hey Jay what’s going on? Picked up Charles clay because of Rudolph now Rudolph is playing. I honestly felt like clay was going to have a good day since Taylor is back and they’re playing the dolphins. Are you starting Rudolph or clay? Ppr league. Thanks.
@Clos: Coffee and impending football semis! I have Rudolph ahead, but I have Clay +8 because of exactly that, love his matchup. I’d call him the ceiling guy today.
@Clos: Clay has disappeared this season, I feel safer with Rudolph
Stewart, Lee, Crowell, Ivory/Yeldon…..I need 2…..
@Oleg Z: Going Ivory and Lee. Crowell was going to sneak in there, but I’m iffy on him with the set of players you have here.
@Oleg Z: ivory and Lee, STACK THE JAGS
Need some WR2 help. I’m debating between Sanu and Dede.
Some things to consider. He had Theo and Keenan play last night and I had nobody. So i’m off to a good start since they combined for less than 10 points. But he still has AB, Theilen, and Gurley, so he could easily put up some big points.
He has matt ryan as his qb. Sanu could potentially offset those numbers. I also have devonta and I’m never in love with starting two players from the same team, but its a great matchup and SnuSnu has been solid.
What are your thoughts? Thanks.
@InGreyWeTrust: Do you think that Fournette being out helps Dede in any significant way?
@InGreyWeTrust: I’d lean not enough here. The added volume from a different gameplan could be distributed to everyone or not at all.
@InGreyWeTrust: Yeah, they are close for me as well. Based on what you say, I’d probably stick with the modus operandi here and go Sanu.
@InGreyWeTrust: I love Dede today, I’d play him
hey jay. feeling good after kareem vastly outplayed kelce yesterday. would you play ajayi over gio bernard or carlos hyde (half ppr)? i think the floor of a workhorse is safer than potential upside of ajayi for me right now.
@leveon: I generally don’t like Bernard… like ever, but this week, I do have him over Ajayi. That being said, I do have Hyde over both, so I’m probably going to lean him.
@leveon: yeah Gio is safest so I agree with Jay
@Unbreakable_mb: didn’t read the last part but Gio is safest
@Unbreakable_mb: thanks guys, appreciate it.
Should I consider replacing Boswell with a Bailey or Lambo due to some wet weather potential in Pittsburgh?
Still torn on the Dak/Ryan choice. I got good games from Gordon and Hill and a weak showing from Henry so far.
The match up: .5ppr
Bills, Zona or Dallas.
D, Thomas (9.4)
Last minute thoughts based on what’s played out so far….
@Pink Doves: I think I’m okay there, I think he’ll get more opportunities. And yeah, Dak/Ryan thing is still very close, even after a couple of updates. I think Ryan is the ceiling choice, and Dak is the safe choice.
@Pink Doves: Tampa’s defense is missing its two best players, Ryan should have a huge day. Julio always ALWAYS torches Tampa. I’d grab Bailey
I do have the benefit of seeing how everything plays out w/ the 1 and 4 games. He will only have Freeman left after 4. If I’m down or even I guess I go Ryan, if I have a lead play it safer with Dak.
I’ll see the weather at 4 in Pitt, if it’s windy and worse than expected I’ll grab Bailey.
@Pink Doves: Yeah, I like this idea.
Can you help me pick 3 in a PPR? McCaffery, Collins, Buckhead, Perone, and J. Gordon.
Also, V. Davis or Seals-Jones at TE?
@MattyIce: My three are McC, Collins, and Perine there. And I’d say RSJ by a hair.
@MattyIce: I’d go with Collins, Burkhead, and Josh Gordon here
@Unbreakable_mb: also RSJ
Need some.help getting to the Finals….
Choose 1 for my flex in ppr.
-Diggs, Ajayi, Morris, DeDe
Highest floor, highest ceiling?
I see Diggs ranked highest with the other 3 all bunched together. He scares me though.
@What Happen’s in Vegas stays in Vegas:
Just noticed Gio and Ivory are on the wire if that makes a difference?
@What Happen’s in Vegas stays in Vegas: I’d say highest floor is Morris and highest ceiling is Diggs there. It’s scary, but Keenum should be okay. In PPR, leaning Diggs.
Thanks Jay! Diggs over Gio?
@Ships: Gio > Diggs
Perine, Rod Smith, or landry at flex?
@Fizz: I have Perine there.
Still alive! Let me know your thoughts:
Newton or Rodgers – standard scoring w/ 4 pts for pass tds
Brady or Big Ben – pass td =3 pts, no penalty for turnovers, pass yds weighted higher than norm
Pick two WRs out of: Fitz, Jeffery & Goodwin – NO PPR
@Paulzone: Sup Paul, good to read! Newton has the slight edge there, and then I’d say Brady, same margin. And going Fitz and Jeffery there.
@Jay: Foles has me concerned so was leaning Goodwin there. Thanks for your take!
@Paulzone: Yeah, honestly, they are close enough where your gut feeling can completely override my take. I’m just as fine with Goodwin there.
@Paulzone: Rodgers, Ben. Fitz and Goodwin
Star 2 of the 3, non-ppr: Mike Evans, Robert Woods, or Sanu?
@Cheeeeeeeze: Going Evans and Sanu there.
Happy Sunday fellas, let’s do this!!
This is it win or go home mode, im facing a tough opponent who’s won 9 straight.irs .5 PPR I’m up 79 to his 0 I had 3 guys go last night Melvin Gordon, hunt & Keenan Allen. My RB1 and RB2 showed up Keenan my WR1 7.5 points rest of my team:
WR2 thinking Baldwin vs Rams huge playoff implication for both Rams & Hawks so Pete Carroll should get Baldwin involved. If I bench then it’ll be hogan at Pitt
WR3 josh Gordon home vs Ravens
TE hooper at Tb
Flex thinking upside here Rod smith at OAK or hogan at Pitt
D/ST Falcons D
Kicker matt Bryant at TB
IDP leaning on the Falcons theme I stream here but thinking of devondre Campbell LB of Falcons
QB dak at OAK
His QB Brees
Flex Jon Stewart
TE slot open he has both Rudolph & OJ Howard
IDP schobert LB on browns
—- im glad Hunt & Melvin showed up I needed those pts!
Have a great one ! Thanks for everything all season
@Bobby’s world: Sure thing! Still thinking I like Baldwin from yesterday’s response. And I forgot what I answered yesterday on the next one, but leaning Smith over Hogan right now.
And of course Bobby, thanks for reading!
Standard league. He had Hunt on the bench. :)
I have ben, brown and bell (it’s a keeper) which makes me highly correlated to the Steelers offense vs. the Pats. Sit ben for bortles? Dak? I
Kerwyn or Bernard or Ivory for Fournette? Thank you.
@tomissoawesome: What a relief! I think keeping Ben in there is okay. You probably want to go all in here with those three. and leaning Bernard there.
Hey all! With Wentz done, who would you have at QB? Garoppolo, Foles, or Dalton?
Also, for FLEX…Kearse, Clay, or Amendola?
@Duttz: sorry, this is PPR…
@Duttz: …throw in Peyton Barber in the FLEX mix too
@Duttz: Hmm, still Kearse here… though Clay did get closer.
@Duttz: Going Garoppolo, but all those choices make me want to drink. And leaning Kearse there.
@Duttz: Foles ROS, and Kearse this week
.5 PPR- Robby Anderson or Dede Westbrook? Thanks so much!
@Robby or Dede?: Going Dede here, any time!
@Robby or Dede?: Dede
Hey Jay!! Need some help, in PPR semifinals:
– Need to start which WR: Maclin, Kelvin, DeVante?
– In flex, Hopkins or Hyde?
– Which PPR TE to start: Witten, Rudolph, Seals-Jones?
– which defense, eagles or Vikings?
– consider dropping Zuerlin due to windy rain in Seattle, for Gould or Forbath?
@JohnnyBeGood: Hey Johnny!
Let’s see, going with Mackylin, Hopkins, RSJ, Vikings by a hair, and then Forbath.
Good luck man!
@Jay: thanks bud
@JohnnyBeGood: of course!
Ivory or Mike Davis? (Unsure if rankings above reflect Fournette being out)
Both have solid matchups. While Davis probably has the workload security, I think he also has more chance of being scripted out like last week.
@James: Working on an update, but I still have Davis ahead there.
@Jay: ivory for me
@Unbreakable_mb: 3 points for Davis vs 4 for Ivory in my league. Glad I agonized over this one! haha. Thanks guys :)
Gotta start 3 of these. 16 team standard scoring. Non ppr.
Thanks man love all the great articles
@Ryan: I have Lynch, Ivory, and Lee there. Thanks Ryan!
@Ryan: same as Jay
I’ve played four guys so far for a crummy 19 points (STD league) this week. My opponent has played one for 2. Thinking I’m in for a bad day, so do I go with the more reliable scoring of Big Ben, or do I go hail mary with Rodgers?
@thegreater: Hail mary. Rodgers I’d say.
@thegreater: Rodgers for sure
Now that Mixon and Fournette are out…
Need 2 of the following to fill RB and flex (PPR)
Gio, Ivory, Duke, Robby Anderson, and Woods
@cheese: Feeling Gio and Woods there.
@cheese: Gio and woods
Last update being worked on… 10-15 minutes hopefully.
@Jay: Rankings updated!
the Melvin Gordon vs travis kelce matchup last night left me in a hole…
Sammy Watkins, marquise lee, or stefon digs for WR2 spot?
dion lewis, CMC, beast mode, Kenyan drake (pick 2)
@HELP!: Going boom or bust if that’s the case. Diggs and Drake with Lynch.
No ppr…Rudolf with bum ankle or Vernon Davis?
@Paulzone: Yeah, going VD there.
@Jay: whats up with these doubtful dudes all of a suddenly playing.. argh. Landon Collins is a go now too. I put Jefferson in instead. Keep?
@Paulzone: Yeah, I’m cool with that. The updates are bonkers today, for sure.
Thanks for all the content. Hope to be back next week, but down big due to KC and the gang (projected to score 50 less points now).
Need to take biggest upside for RB2 and Flex in 0.5ppr:
K. Williams – rb
Crowell – rb
Barber – rb
Ivory – rb
Hogan – wr (out)
R. Anderson – wr
Who ya got?
@In a pickle: I’m feeling Ivory and Williams there.
@In a pickle: ivory and Williams
How good do you feel about Aaron Rodgers? I am struggling with the decision of who to start at QB between him and Dak. Who is the safer play?
@Toby: Safe is Dak, but I’m with Rodgers.
I’m in a huge hole with my opponent playing Hunt last night. Do you think AJ Green can deliver a big game against the Vikings. I have my doubts with Dalton not looking particularly good last week in Chicago. I feel I might need to gamble with a lesser WR l I ke Sanu….Is that just crazy thinking?
@LazyDogNE: Not crazy… but I have them so far apart, I’d probably feel better going Green, even with those caveats.
I have @Jay: Thanks Jay for the thoughts. I also have Ivory, but planning on starting McCoy and Hyde.
@LazyDogNE: Yeah, I have them over those two, for sure. Any time!
So the last minute FU with Hogan out…
Do I go Coleman vs Balt, Parker vs Buff, Bryant vs NE or Marlin vs Cleve.
@Pink Doves: Thinking Parker there.
@Jay: I’d roll the dice with Coleman
@Jay: whew, good to finally see parker be part of the offense again.
D. Murry or T.J weldon?
@Bluety: DeMarco there.
Do you think Woods will do anything against the Sea Hawks today. I realize it’s really a unknown being his first game back, but looking for a needle in a haystack as they say.
@LazyDogNE: for what it’s worth, I have him in the middle of the pack with other rankers. I think he’ll be fine, but you’re right, there’s some risk.
@LazyDogNE: hell yeah love woods today. They miss him
Grr I should’ve benched josh Gordon 0 rec for 0 yards = 0 points so far , 4 min left in 1st. Kizer needs to get it in gear, find josh Flash Gordon!!
I got JuJu as my FLEX right now but also have Rod Smith and Mike Davis on my bench. Thoughts there?
So as it’s played out today.
My game is essentially tied even getting a zero from M. Lee w/ his 1st Q injury.
My opponent has Freeman tomo. I have Dak or Ryan to play. Think I’m going Ryan.
@Pink Doves: Ryan is and was the right call
Was Jimmy Graham injured? Was he just disappeared? What the hell happened to him?
@Drekkan: I don’t think he’s hurt
man it’s hard to be
1.playing against khunt and only gonna lose from that (3 leagues)
2. having khunt in 3 leagues and about to either lose (in 2) or already be out (in 1, also the most important one monetarily and am ONLY out in that one due to hunt/howard’s week 13)
@Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey: dang that does suck
Looking ahead to next week…
chargers or new england defense for the championship
@Wide Right: Chargers
14 team super flex dynasty, stanton or brock lobster (dropping peterman)
Wish I had some good news for you. After going down 75 points with my opponent having Gordon and hunt I went into Sunday very discouraged.
I ended up making a huge comeback to a point where I should have won. I lost 188-182
I had these 4 players in my lineup;
M. Thomas: 2 touchdowns overturned
Carr: fumble inside the 1 yard line
A. Brown and burkhead: we know what happened there
Fantasy can be so unfair
Thanks for the help all season
@James: Tough to read James, so close!
Glad to have helped, but we’ll be here next year to get you over that hump. Thanks for hanging out!
