All of your distracted day dreaming and line up research comes down to one final week. It’s the fantasy football Super Bowl. Only, there is no halftime show or Roger Goodell handing out a trophy to an earthquake of boos and hisses. The anxiety and thrill starting this Saturday afternoon are worth the 15 prior weeks of making the least amount of untimely mistakes in your league.

The first time that I won my big-money home league, the one that I obsess over, was Le’Veon Bell’s rookie year. He had a late afternoon game that day and I was in pretty decent shape through the first set of games. All that I needed was a pretty decent game from him to clinch the title. Bell ran for 124 yards (his first career 100+ yard rushing game) and a touchdown against the Packers that day and I won pretty comfortably. Each title feels great but nothing compares to the first one with the big pay day against the buddies that you talk shit with week in and week out. But, whether you play for money, a belt, a ring, a trophy or some combination, I think the jabs at your league mates and unbridled confidence at the next season’s draft is the best part. Here are my week 16 rankings. I will see you all in the comment section. Even if you don’t have a line up question, you should drop a couple lines about your favorite fantasy title that you have ever won.

honestly like most poker players i way more remember the really bad/lucky losses than well played wins. VD losing me 2 super bowls in same year for about $800 lost from getting a zero (on 6 or 7 targets, 3 drops) when all i ended up needing in both those super bowls ended up being .6 in one spot and .26 in another. i would remember if i ever had to get really lucky in any big wins. if i’ve had a good team all year and win honestly since i probably should’ve had at least close to a favorite situation or better in the finals i don’t remember as it just gets left in the memory banks as a “standard” week.

@Steve Anus: holy crap in the same year? That’s rough

@Unbreakable_mb: yeah was in 2/2 finals in my only (at the time) money leagues.

@Steve Anus: i got VD and it cost more money than getting a lot of real life VD’s. even without insurance this is likely true.

@Steve Anus: you’ve still got coons kicking for LAC, not the case.

@Steve Anus: what is really odd you must have rose ranked as if he’s on WAS still (hopkins is back there now), coons at LAC, otherwise you’d not have ranked both rose and coons. lot of kicker movement since last week (bailey’s back too, but that’s less recent)

@Steve Anus: I’ll look at my kickers again Friday I can’t remember if I even touched the position this week

Yo man what’s good. I’m torn between KC DST & LAC DST

What do you like most about each matchup and who would you pick?

@Josh: I think it’s the Chargers. Must win game against a bad quarterback, they have an excellent pass rush and should be able to force a couple of turnovers. Yeah the turnover in football is insane, wow, those are some names.

Also, I remember winning my only championship with Reuben Randle, Rahsaad Jennings and Jordan Matthews leading the way in the final week. That was just two seasons ago.

2014 Championship game was a great year with Romo, Bryant, Witten going bonkers against the Colts … Even getting rested almost whole second half didn’t matter since they scored so many points already. By the time I had Lynch going in night cap the Title was in hand!

This year I’m debating Cousins who got me here or the wildcard in Foles ?

Also need to pick two from : Shepard, Crowder, M. Bryant, K Williams, T Williams, Perine, or Forte

Lots of meh options in STD scoring… Thanks

My biggest decision to make in the championship game:

PPR – Painfully need to bench one of these four:

Kamara, Lev Bell, Zeke Elliott, Kareem Hunt

Would you start them in the order you have them ranked, leaving Hunt on the bench?

@RS: capitalist pig! Just kidding haha, I’m jealous. I’d bench Hunt

Like another post above, I remember the heartbreaks more than the thrilsl of the win. I’ve got numerous titles, but the one I’ll always remember was maybe 5 years ago, a Brandon Marshall catch for 12 yds helped me win the champ game and $1000. From Sunday until Thursday I was champ, then ESPN posted a correction, the Marshall catch was changed to a latterell, and I lost those rec yds and it dropped me a point, and took me down to $100 for 2nd instead of a $1000 for 1st…I’ll NEVER forget that !

    Championship game
    12 team standard
Need some help after losing Antonio Brown.(have also lost desean Watson , Wentz and Reed this year)

QB- Big Ben(other option if Foles)
    RB- Gurley
    RB- Hunt
    WR- DeAndre Hopkins
    WR- Marvin Jones
TE- Witten(my other options are Vernon Davis and Cook. I could change to Davis given matchup and the return of Zeke for the Cowboys)
Flex- Martavis Bryant(My other options here are Kerwynn Williams(Ari), and Cole(Jax). I am a bit nervous with Bryant as he could put up a stinker and Williams should get volume)
    K- Prater
    Def- Ravens

Any help would be great. thanks
