Another week of football means another week of Fantasy Stacks! We will break down some stacks that you should be targeting to get the most out of your fantasy football production. This week is the first week for most people’s fantasy playoffs, which means some of you are done for the season in your leagues. Well, that doesn’t mean the party has to come to an end: there’s always Daily Fantasy Sports! And with DFS comes stacks, which is where we come in. The following are three Fantasy Stacks that you should be targeting wherever you can to get the most out of your teams. Before we get into the three new stacks for this coming week, let’s take a look back at how we fared last week.

Looking Back at Week 14 Fantasy Stacks

The first of our Fantasy Stacks from last week hit with Lamar Jackson and Zay Flowers both scoring 20 points or more. Flowers caught six of his ten targets for 60 yards, a touchdown and a 2-point conversion. Jackson had himself another day, completing 24 of his 43 passes for 316 yards and scoring 3 total touchdowns. He also picked up another 70 yards with his legs.

Jared Goff and Sam LaPorta inexplicably laid eggs this week, unfortunately. Neither player was able to break 10 points. Goff threw two interceptions and only one touchdown Sunday against the Chicago Bears. While he targeted LaPorta six times, the tight end was only able to haul in two of them for a total of 23 yards. Not great, Bob.

Finally, there is Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen. I swear I am the reason that all these quarterbacks are getting injured. It’s me. I am the problem. The past few weeks have resulted in at least one of the fantasy stacks getting injured, and now Justin Herbert has fractured his index finger on his throwing hand. This caused him to finish with less than three points, while Kennan Allen went on to have 12.8 points. There’s only so much you can do when it comes to injuries in this game, but this is getting out of hand.

Week 11 NFL Rankings | Puka Nacua

Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua

The first of this week’s Fantasy Stacks is going to be a softball throw to those playing against the Washington Commanders: Matt Stafford and Puka Nacua. Stafford has been on fire the last few weeks, averaging 23.66 points per game and throwing for multiple touchdowns in each game. He is peaking at just the right time, both for the Rams’ playoff hopes and for the championship hopes of fantasy players such as yourself. Expect him to continue the trend he is on this week and to put up big numbers against an exploitable Commanders’ defense.

The other half of this stack was a tough one for me to decide between, but I finally decided that Puka is the guy you want. Cooper Kupp has been good as always, but he has not been as consistent as Puka has been. Kupp is averaging just over seven targets a game, whereas Puka is averaging 9.69 targets each week. Looking at their total points over the past four weeks since the bye week, Kupp has been averaging 12.08 PPG, whereas Puka is averaging 15.83 PPG. This last week did have Kupp scoring the highest out of the two, but Nacua has been as consistent as they come, and I expect him to be the better receiver this coming Sunday.

Deebo Samuel

Brock Purdy and Deebo Samuel

The next set of Fantasy Stacks that we are going to touch on comes from one of the most dominating teams in the league right now: the San Francisco 49ers. Brock Purdy is the obvious first half of this stack, and it has been easy to see why. As of the writing of this article, Purdy is QB5 on the year. He has been taking advantage of an easy second half of the season. Purdy is set up to put up big numbers again this week as he faces off against division rival, the Arizona Cardinals. In their last meeting, Purdy was QB11 for the week after he put up 21.32 points on the Cardinals. He hasn’t been great this year while playing on the road, but I expect Purdy will have to put up big numbers to secure the win.

This was another tough decision when looking at the second half of the stack. In the last meeting, Brandon Aiyuk was the receiver to have, as he went off for over 20 points, while Deebo Samuel was held to no targets. However, I think Deebo is going to bounce back in a big way this weekend. Over the past five weeks since their bye, Samuel has averaged 23.46 PPG, and he has scored a touchdown in all but one of those games. Those are ridiculous numbers to be averaging. It is as if he got right over the break and is now back to being the dominating presence that we’ve come to expect from him. That is why I’m plugging in Deebo this week to pair up with Purdy and get ready for the show.

Fantasy Stacks: Week 8 Stacks | AJ Brown

Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown

This Fantasy Stack is one that should pretty much be a plug-and-play, as both Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown are in the top five at their given positions. Jalen Hurts is coming off a disappointing week, as the Dallas Cowboys held him to 8.88 points, marking the only time this year that Hurts didn’t find the endzone. That said, however, the Seattle Seahawks will be a far better matchup. Hurts is averaging 24.4 points per game and has had multiple touchdowns every week except for two now. My only concern with him going up against a beatable Seahawks team this week is that the game script might cause him to be used less.

This goes for Hurts’ counterpart in this Fantasy Stack, A.J. Brown. Brown has been dominant this year, scoring double digits in every game except for two. He is averaging over ten targets a game, which shows how much trust Hurts has in his big-time receiver. Brown has averaged 20 PPG and has been a WR1 in every matchup this year except for five of them. I expect him to be a big part of the offense again this coming week and for him to go off against the Seahawks’ defense.
