With the Late Games schedule lacking a bit, uh, what’s a good word to use here? Ooomph? Yeah, ooomph. I suppose the prime time game would be the 49ers hanging out with the Cardinals in Phoenix, or as Fox calls this match-up: “America’s Game”. Seems a bit presumptuous, since I like to think that Arizona doesn’t really exist as part of America. I suppose much of the tri-city area doesn’t really think too highly of San Francisco, but we might be getting too meta here. The Bills also go against the Dolphins, which should be an interesting defensive nap-fest, and seeing as how the Seahawks have been suffering so much, they get a one game reprieve as they go against Jimmy Clausen and the surviving members of the Bears. What’s my analysis here? Get your alcoholic beverages ready friends…

    sweet jesus, i hate when good decisions look bad later. in PPR with return yds worth the same as rush ones i dropped freeman after last week to obtain gates, thinking h.miller’s value won’t hold up i drop freeman, who had looked completely awful for 2 weeks. i already have forte/spiller/vereen/jennings/ellington, starting 2 RB, and 1 flex. 2nd week in a row i play roddy at flex (spiller still not being used) no targets. And i know Roddy looked good when i watched week 1. Freeman was hot garbage in that same game.

        @Jay: got another league that for the 3rd str week i’ve had ZERO pts out of TE spot. Gates on bench. 20 teamer. Week 1 went with highest ranked Tamme (lost Green when he pretended he was out and within less than 20 hours he played, and of course he went to somebody else later), Week 2 went with Fells after he was good in week 1, no targets there, this week went with Escobar with Witten playing banged up (and ranked just over/around Fells/Barnidge), and Barnidge goes off, with Fells already having a catch. Anybody want to guess how many pts Barnidge has next week after i attempt to waiver him?

    Ugh my Jets did not come through this weekend, luckily I went out to eastern LI & did not have to watch…at the least, my fantasy team is up 101-68 thanks to AP/Randle…& STL defense was not to shabby!

      @Nick: Those are the Jets I recognize. That Randle and Freeman effort was stupid good. Every daily fantasy winner had both of them starting…

        @Jay: Randle & AP are legit carrying my team this week, not the best way to win but I’ll take it at this point…just have to hold off Fitzy & R Wilson but I still have Peyton & Bennett going now

    14 teamer PPR. bout to lose. thought it was a good thing to have forsett as a cheap keeper, but BAL’s line is shit now, must not’ve been last year though. start 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex (can be a TE)
    rodgers
    forsett/stewart (hurt)/starks/vereen/duke johnson/mason
    a.brown (yikes on roethlisberger out, he moves from top WR to probably like 7th at best), evans/garcon/hurns/beasley/roddy
    fleener/gates

    Drop any RB for Dunbar (and spend how much out of the 92/100 left)? i won starks for $8, somebody actually tied me, and another guy went $7.
    2. drop Roddy for M.Jones (and bid how much?)

        @Jay: wait, this is a league competitive enough that i meant jones (CIN WR) not that RB that’s been owned in every competitive league since week 1. And keep all my guys over Dunbar at RB eh?

          @Mike Hunt’s Honorable Discharge: Yeah, he’s around the same tier… kind of a fringe guy who’s getting looks at the moment. I like him in deeper leagues like yours. I think Dunbar’s performance isn’t repeatable.

    Howdy, after 3 weeks I’ve come to the realization that you must play a TE who is facing raiders D, they can’t cover the TE & Gary barnridge had a huge game.

    Next I would play a WR playing the pats D, I added and started Allen Hurns on a gut call 17 points not too shabby. If the main guy is going to get blanketed like A-Rob , other WR’s pats don’t cover well will succeed.

    Next, Philip Dorsett I believe has over taken Andre Johnson. Come on 0 rec for 0 yards?!
    Is Andre Johnson droppable?

      Yeah, good points here. I think Andre Johnson is droppable at this point. Sad, really. I’d hold him if you can, but if there’s something more functional out there, I’m okay with it.

        @Jay:

        Very sad, fortunately I got Johnson late in the draft to where I was going to use him as either a flex or a bench body.

        I know I can’t trade him he has zero trade value, I may hold on to him one more week & to see what he does vs Jaguars- if nothing vs jags then it may be time. All the pats WR’s seemed involved /made plays vs jags D(amendola, Edelman, Keyshawn Martin even too)

        Here are available WR’s:

        Tyler Lockett, Philip Dorsett, Marvin jones, Kenny Britt, Cecil shorts, Devin smith, Robert woods, Ty Montgomery, Ted Ginn jr, Aaron Dobson too

          @Mike bean: Hmm, yeah, out of that group, I’d probably hold one more week.

            @Jay:

            Andre Johnson next opponents

            Week 4 vs Jaguars

            Week 5 at Houston

            Week 6 vs Patriots
