Hey folks! The weather is starting to get colder and we are beginning to inch closer to the fantasy football playoffs! So, do you know what time it is?? Yes, that’s right it’s officially handcuffing season. Now you can take that in many ways, but for today we are strictly focusing on fantasy football since this is a fantasy sports site…kind of? We do our best.
Anyway, I have spoken to our team here at Razzball and I have compiled a list of all the running back handcuffs. I have broken them out by tiers to help you identify which running back handcuffs are must-haves heading into your fantasy football playoffs. Overview
Split Backfields – The first chart I included shows split backfields. These teams have two key guys. If one of those guys goes down, it is unlikely that an RB3 will emerge as being relevant for fantasy
Tier 1 The Must-Haves – These are RBs worth trading for if they are on other rosters. Players you can trade include D.J. Moore, Michael Pittman, Cedric Tillman, Rico Dowdle, and Jaylen Warren
Tier 2 Stash at the Right Price – These players are worth scooping up off waivers if you have some flexibility. Players we would be willing to drop if you have depth at the position are Tyler Lockett, Jordan Addison, and Romeo Doubs
Tier 3 Deep League Stashes Only – If you’re in much deeper formats you can consider stashing these players. In most leagues, they can be left on waivers
Tier 4 Don’t Bother – … It’s all in the title
