As Week 14 approaches, it’s crunch time for teams. There are so many must-win games for so many teams, and that’s when football is at its best. The QBs under center may be backups for plenty of teams, but that won’t stop many of the games from being a ton of fun.

Here we go: these are the best bets for Week 14 of the NFL season.

Colts ML @ Bengals (-110)

Jake Browning had a miracle game against Jacksonville that could have been remembered very differently had Cincinnati lost. He played well, but I can’t see a reality where it’s sustainable. The Colts are a playoff team, and their defense should be trusted not to let Browning cook again. Indianapolis has been playing really well in every facet of the game, and I like Gardner Minshew to lead them to another win on the road. Take the Colts to win against the Bengals.

Buccaneers ML @ Falcons (+106)

The Falcons barely won this game the last time these two teams faced off this season, and I smell a split. This division is truly terrible, but someone needs to step up. I think that “someone” will be Baker Mayfield, not Desmond Ridder. Atlanta was held to just 13 points against the Jets last week, and they have another tough defense incoming with Tampa. With the value of the Bucs as underdogs, I’ll take their ML straight up.

Lions -3 @ Bears (-122)

I know how this game went last time. The Lions barely got the win and went down early in the game. It was (maybe) Jared Goff’s worst game as a Lion, but I can’t see a reality where that happens again. Detroit is a powerhouse in the NFC, and the Bears are just a terrible football team. Between the Lions’ defense and Justin Fields’ recent struggles, I like Detroit to win this game and cover the spread pretty easily.

Broncos ML @ Chargers (+126)

The Broncos’ hot streak came to an end last week against Houston, but I don’t think they’re done cooking. Russell Wilson has given this team life (and playoff dreams), and this is a must-win divisional game for them. The Chargers are a mess, poorly coached, and are on the outside looking in when it comes to the AFC Playoffs. Once again, the value here is too much to pass up on with the way these teams have been playing. Give me the Broncos to win outright.

Rams +7.5 @ Ravens (-118)

This line just feels like too much. The Rams’ offense has become rejuvenated since Kyren Williams returned to the lineup. When Los Angeles is healthy, they’re a threat. Every game going forward is a must-win for them, and Sean McVay is going to bring his team ready. The Ravens are a Super Bowl-contending team, but this game is going to be close and could come down to a field goal. I love the Rams to cover, and if you really want to gamble, sprinkle their ML as well.
