We took last week off for the holiday, but we’re right back at it for the penultimate week of the NFL regular season. There’s a lot of value to be had, so let’s get at it. Here are the best bets for Week 17 of the NFL season:

Ravens ML vs. Dolphins (-168)

The Ravens are, arguably, the best team in the AFC right now. That second-best team would be the Dolphins. Without Jaylen Waddle, it’s going to make it a lot more difficult for Tua to find Tyreek Hill. Tua has struggled when he’s heavily pressured, and the Ravens are going to attack the QB all game. I’ll take the Ravens’ momentum to get the win at home.

Rams -5.5 @ Giants

The Rams might be the hottest team in the NFC. They’re going to get into the playoffs, and they have a chance to really make some noise. They have some elite offensive talent, and the defense is starting to become lockdown when it matters most. The Giants aren’t playing well, and despite keeping the game against the Eagles close, the offense is pretty much at rock bottom now. I like the Rams to win this one big, so I’ll take the spread this week.

49ers -12.5 @ Commanders

If there was a margin between the best and worst teams in the NFL right now, this might be the widest gap. The 49ers didn’t show up against the Ravens last week, but this is going to be their “get right” game. The worst defense in the league against Christian McCaffrey will certainly be enjoyable to watch, and it’s probable that Washington can’t get much going offensively, either. This one will be a blowout, and the Niners will cover.

Bengals +7 @ Chiefs

This bet is banking on the Chiefs playing like they have been for the last few weeks, and I think that might be spot on. Something is wrong with the Chiefs’ offense right now, and I could see those issues leaking into this game against Cincinnati. Until they prove me wrong, I’ll continue taking opposing teams to cover against Kansas City, feeding into the Bengals +7 this week.

CAR/JAX under 37.5

A banged-up Trevor Lawrence against Bryce Young? Give me the under all day. Lawrence may not play, but whether he does or he doesn’t, I like the under. Both these teams are a mess offensively but also have respectable defenses. This total is low, but not low enough.
