We start the day in London with the Texans against the Jaguars. The Jaguars have actually had recent success in London with their “go across seas on Thursday” strategy. The Texans followed that strategy this week, so let’s see what happens there.

The Jets line up against the Dolphins for a big time garbage matchup and you know that we can’t wait for the Steelers vs. Colts. The Vikings could use a win against the Chiefs to keep pace in the division and the Chiefs could also use a win to keep control of the AFC West. The Bears and Eagles should be a pretty interesting game. The Bears can honestly put any quarterback out there and get the same production that their current starter gets.

The Panthers will try to get something going against the Titans to keep their playoff hopes alive while the Bucs will try and play spoilers against the Seahawks. The Browns will try and correct the recent negative script against the Broncos and the Raiders and the Lions will try and stay really relevant in the playoff race.

I take it from your rankings that you dont believe Adams is going to play or if he does play, he will be limited. I saw a video of him jumping over a teammate after practice. He looked pretty good to me. You pretty much have to start him if he plays in a league that starts 3 wr and a flex. The problem is crowder plays early and I am not really liking what I have seen from the jets even though they play miami. This could be a bell game. My last option is sanu but I’d feel much better about him after his bye (next week). Thanks

I moved him up 20 spots and him close to consensus. Turf toe is tough but yeah if he plays, he’s a must start

    Good Morning!
Injuries to Conner, Hilton, and Thielen have me in a bind. In addition Tevin Coleman and the 49ers D let me down. I need some advice on WR2 and Flex in PPR. Thielen, Landry, Pascal, Mark Walton, Hyde. Need 1 at wr and I flex.

    • looysenkm10 says:

Or add Jamison crowder? Opponent is starting Darnold at QB.

Rough. I’d go with Thielen and Pascal

Would you trade either D.M. Moore or T. Williams for A.J. Green?
    Thx!

      I’d trade Moore for him

Half ppr…. always say go with my studs but I’m leaning starting Stafford and jonnu Smith over Lamar and Andrews…. Your rankings have me split. Feel if I go Jackson I have to pair with Andrews.

    • MB

      (link)

Haha, you don’t HAVE to pair. I don’t recommend leaving Stafford on the bench

you really benching pascal or p.williams to play dede if dede plays, with hilton out? it appears hilton is ranked still here. PPR. p.williams has an awesome floor, pascal is getting the snaps of being next man up WR 1 at IND, dede’s been playing (and not playing) hurt for a bit here.

    • Beware the Shit Rope says:
      (link)

      2. different league, also PPR. i have to start 2 of these (listed by yr current ranking):
-mclaurin (this really is a bad start though, rookie QB’s first start, on road at BUF)
      – stills (him i believe probably could be this highly ranked, but he got few targets in week 1 without fuller last week)
      – c.samuel (injured, but TEN’s pass D is pretty bad)
      – dola (great matchup, his targets since carry-on has been out pretty much make him the new rid dick but counts as a WR)
      – pascal (his snaps appear to make him WR 1 at IND now with hilton out and he sometimes gets return yardage (worth the same here as scrimmage (albeit with campbell back that might be campbell’s job entirely)

      • Beware the Shit Rope says:
        (link)

another nasty wrinkle is that stills and dede both play 3.5 hours earlier than anybody else.

        • Beware the Shit Rope says:
          (link)

also stills has JAX and their number 7 against the pass DVOA D.

dede’s out, which he appeared he would be (or worse, a decoy like they did with DJ a few weeks back. actually dede himself was pretty much a decoy once this year a few weeks ago too), so the first league took care of itself, i’ll sit c.davis and dede for p.williams and pascal.

i’m fairly surprised to see pascal as low as i am at FP’s top 30 flex PPR or WR PPR guys even if i index it only to those who input rankings by today’s date. my guess is people are thinking IND’s offense in general (and brissett has been worse lately too even before hilton gone) won’t do too well today. samuel i’m worried about since he didn’t practice friday even if he’s ruled to play today. i’m quite sure at least one of dola or ty-jo DET will have a big big day (of course maybe mckissic becomes the new rid dick, but so far it’s been dola in the carry-on minus time), could be both. in league 2 above i do have ty-jo as well, but the way DET 1. doesn’t run the ball much. 2 aren’t good at it even when they do 3. used ty-jo last week i’m surely not putting ty-jo at the flex over samuel or pascal. should’ve just stuck stills in there, he’s actually getting targets today and if he had last week i’d have put him there and not even thought twice.

I moved Pascal inside the top 40 for WRs. I like Pittsburgh’s defense a lot. Yeah I moved Ty to RB 26

glad i didn’t stick stills in there, but did play dola over pascal and played samuel. got lucky samuel got a TD anyway. pascal DID still get returns (2 out of 5 and none of them were touchbacks (or at least 5 weren’t) so PIT’s kicker ain’t good at distance) even with p.campbell back.

                      (link)

and THAT is why i shouldn’t be trusting even 2 weeks of data on dola (even if it appeared to be an offensive philosophy change since it occurred just as carry-on went out). too many mouths there, even hock is getting used.

12 team standard scoring, would you trade Conley for Stills? Both are on bye next week, I own Fuller on my bench right now…thinking DeDe will return sooner than Fuller…

Thanks bud, one other question, I have Lamar Jackson with Kyler now riding my bench as a backup in case of injury, do I target this team that has Minshew/Brissett right now, he has a lot of WRs – Hopkins, M Thomas, Edelman, A Jeffrey mainly…do you try to snag one of them & prey on his Minshew debacle right now? Which of his WRs would you target, that is fair, or not really a match…

you like Jeffrey? I don’t like that he is injury prone…was thinking Edelman as much as that hurts cause I hate the Patriots…

Should the Bears be in Tank for Tua mode? The once fearsome Monsters of the Midway has become the Mobsters of the Midway. And Trubisky speaks for itself. It’s time for someone to whisper in their ear.
