The first couple of games we saw Nick Foles, he truly did play like  a rookie.  The game seemed too fast for him.  He was throwing passes way too late and had to deal with the same struggles Vick dealt with concerning a porous offensive line.  It really wasn’t the best set up for Nick […]

Playoffs baby!  In a stunning late push in the Razzball Writer’s League, I was able to sneak into 6th place. And what do I get for my late season surge? A one-catch. 7-yard performance from Brandon Myers… The march into the playoffs is great in fantasy football, but nothing is more frustrating than your key, […]

Now that’s more like it.  Even though I got burnt by Charlie Batch last week, it was nice to see some upsets peer through the scoreboard in week 13.  I guess it wasn’t nice to see if you had selected San Francisco, Baltimore, Chicago or Carolina.  In the first two of those games, the team […]

The great game that is fantasy football is rarely dull. By that I mean, it’s hard as snit to predict what you’re gonna get from week to week, even when you have the studliest of studs in your lineup. Just ask any person who drafted Aaron Rodgers how the first few weeks of the season felt or a Drew Brees owner if they missed the playoffs when he dropped a 5 INT, 0 TD pass for the first time in 54 games last week. No matter how much you want to say ‘I’ve got this in the bag, look at this team’, every week is a re-evaluation of what you have and what your guys are gonna do based on the natural ebb and flow of the game. For that reason, I have annointed Alfred Morris in my top 5 for the week. Brazen, you say? Possibly, but ever since Pierre Garcon has come back healthy, Washington has been able to run the ball – and run it effectively – in the 4th quarter.
