getting alot of conflicting opinions on who to drop between Garcon, D Cobb & Joique Bell..am I overthinking this? I would have thought Garcon was the easy pick to cut loose but apparently each razzball writer prefers to drop someone different. Malamoney = D ADams, Tehol = Cobb or Joique…and you say Garcon, AHHHHH

    • Nick says:
      (link)

@Nick: I think my plan is to drop Cobb since its a 10-teamer & nobody will snag him unless he puts up big #s…Cobb does have a favorable schedule for weeks 10-14 (until the fantasy playoffs) but I think I rather plug Jordan Matthews in for Duke J at flex & leave Garcon in at WR3 at least for this upcoming week..

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Nick: He won’t put up those numbers yet, Andrews is still the guy for at least two weeks, but after that, I think there will be a clear transition. And yeah, I agree on Matthews there, he’ll be starter for ya.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Nick: Haha, well, I love that everyone disagrees, gives perspective I think. I like Adams situation a bit better than Garcon, which is why I’m sticking with my original thought. (And I’ve always had an affinity for stashing any and all RB’s with the attrition and usage that’s been trending there for a few years now.)

      • Nick says:
        (link)

@Jay: fair enough, haha. I completely agree that it is better to hoard RBs but in this scenario, with a rather shallow league, I think D Cobb was the right move. Hopefully he does not blow up in the next 2-3 weeks & I regret this move!

I’m 4-5 in my league so a move had to be made…not saying its a season saver but if Matthews can get a few more 100+ yard games I think the trade will be worth it…

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Nick: Yeah, I think it’s an equal move, no qualms at all. Could be the thing that elevates your team a bit. I always liked the trade, that’s for sure.

          • Nick says:
            (link)

@Jay: now the question is…for week 10…do you keep Garcon in at WR3 with a nice matchup against NO (although he has done zip in the past against weak secondaries, with D Jax back that could help or hurt him, I’m not sure)…& pull Duke Johnson out from flex & onto bench in favor of Jordan Matthews?

OR pull Garcon from WR3, plug J Matthews in at WR3 & keep Duke Johnson at my flex? Remember, standard scoring non-ppr 10 -teamer…my other wideout Amari Cooper had an injury in practice so I’m hoping he can still be my WR1 with Davante Adams in at WR2 (due to byes for Ty Hilton & Stevie Johnson)

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@Nick: I think Duke to the bench right now. I may have said differently if it were PPR.

  2. Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
    (link)

standard league where we keep 6 and can only have 6 WR and RB to prevent hoarding, but have large rosters so everybody has many IDP’s, QB’s and TE’s (most have many team D’s and kickers as well)

my WR are allen/jordy (5 RES slots), hankerson/julio/a-rob/hurns. this week i can’t field a third WR anyway. Tamme/Hank/Julio/Gates/Rivers all on bye at same time, so the weekly Rivers vs Dalton decision has been taken out of my hands. I’m guessing grab S.Johnson, somebody just dropped him. It won’t hurt me anymore for this week.

    • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
      (link)

@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: different league. PPR. no keepers. start 3 WR exactly. i have a.brown/evans/m.jones/benjamin/boldin
      2. drop benjamin/boldin for s.johnson? .05 pts per return yard here so benjamin used to have more value, but in last 4 weeks he’s only had 57 return yards total. benjamin did have 6 good weeks in a row to start year, none since.

      • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
        (link)

@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: he’s listed as only punt returner now that he’s taken over higher WR duties than he went into year having.

        • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
          (link)

@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: i could also drop one of NYJ/CAR team DEF’s here, but i’ve done very well for myself in this league weekly picking the right one of them (excepting week 8, when i benched CAR playing IND for NYJ playing OAK, that cost me 16 pts and almost a win). CAR have averaged 15.63 a week, 12.57 in the weeks that i’ve played them.
NYJ have averaged 13.88, 11 in the 3 weeks i played them, even including the zero week 8.

          • Jay

            Jay says:
            (link)

@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: If you’ve been playing match-ups well, it’s a nice wrinkle to have, so holding them isn’t a negative here.

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Aubrey Plaza’s Pillow: I think probably Boldin. Still not sure what to think of Gabbert. It pains me to think that he could be average.

      • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
        (link)

@Jay: so keep benjamin since he’s more likely to produce with mccown when he gets back soon than boldin with gabbert.

      • Aubrey Plaza's Pillow says:
        (link)

@Jay: oops, in the standard at the very top that’s drop hankerson for s.johnson, right?

  3. Zandy says:
    (link)

Why so high on flacco? And why low on cousins?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Jack’s secondary and pass rush are nonexistent. I had brainstormed that his weapons, or lack thereof would hurt him, but the Jaguars numbers are just atrocious. Add in the home game factor too. As for Cousins, I’m going to go against Tehol here. I think the Saints will blitz and zone, something the Patriots did, and while the Saints aren’t the Patriots by any means, it’s another home game as well. That, and I’m not terribly sold on Cousins being all that good…

  4. Kendrick Llama says:
    (link)

    Few questions for you jay!

    1. Have Eifert and Reed in PPR. Saw the rankings and was wondering what you would do if you also had Hill in your lineup (because of byes) both have great match ups obviously, but feel like Reed is safer with targets?

    2. Reasoning for Wilson over Tannehill?

    3. Don’t trust the Packers D at all even against a bad Detroit team. Are You fine with picking up Eagles D and using for remainder of season or should I stick it out?

    • Kendrick Llama says:
      (link)

@Kendrick Llama: also if the league is -1 for qb sack still Wilson over Tannehill?

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Kendrick Llama: Yeah, I’m going with the better talent for now.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Kendrick Llama: I don’t think Hill affects the decision too much. I can see spreading your eggs and whatnot, but I’d rather start my top guys no matter what. I’m just not that enamored with Tannehill right now. Yeah, I’m fine with the Eagles defense.

  5. TOG-MAN says:
    (link)

PPR league. Who should I drop for Bortles?

Drop candidates: Hillman, S. Johnson, NYJ

    QB: Taylor
RB: West, Woodhead, K. Williams, Hillman
WR: Hopkins, Green, Cooper, Landry, Crabtree, S. Johnson
    TE: Watson
    DEF: CAR, NYJ

Available RB: Duke Johnson(waivers), Matt Jones(waivers), J. Bell, Sims, Vereen, Jennings, Darkwa, Spiller, Abdullah
Available WR: Green-Beckham, Washington, Wright, Ginn, Woods, Beasley, Amendola, Inman
    Available D/ST: CIN, ATL, MIA

    Weeks 14-16
    S. Johnson: @KC, MIA, @OAK(TNF)
    Hillman: OAK, @PIT, CIN
    CAR: ATL, @NYG, @ATL
    NYJ: TEN, @DAL, NE

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@TOG-MAN: I think you have to drop Johnson here. Your RB depth would take a serious hit otherwise.

  6. Zandy says:
    (link)

    4 way tie for first
2 RB: Ivory gore Jstew cwest MJones
2 WR: Julio demaryius Calvin ARob Jbrown
    1 flex
    Te: delanie

Std scoring – would you send Jstew for kelce?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Naw, I think Walker is fine. Kelce has had a few great games, but has largely underachieved this season… that’s mainly Alex Smith’s fault and offense being no-dimensional right now with Charles done.

      • Swarley says:
        (link)

        @Jay: fair enough makes sense
Would your opinion change if it was Hopkins Kelce for Demaryius Jstew?

        • Swarley says:
          (link)

@Swarley: My team is similar to Zandy
          WR: ABrown Demaryius AJGreen Evans
          RB: Latavius Jstew Gore Yeldon
          Also Walker at TE

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Swarley: Then yes, I’d want the Hopkins side, that does it for me.

  7. Jogon says:
    (link)

Is Eddie Lacy a drop candidate ? Any chance he turns it around ?

    One year league:

I already have L.Murray, Freeman, McFadden and Gore at RB.

I have bye week issues this week.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jogon: I would hold. It’s a straight up time share, but I’ve never thought Starks was anything but average as a back.

  8. Steve D. says:
    (link)

Should I make the pre-emptive add on Robert Turbin in case he ends up somewhere like NE? I’m in a 12 team keeper auction PPR league. $0 pickups are allowed, and I have a free slot to play with. He’s strictly an upside flier. Have Taiwan Jones in that slot now, but not married to him.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve D.: Yeah, nothing to lose with that spot anyhow.

  9. Loooooooom says:
    (link)

beyond Lamar Miller, my RB situation is murky at best

I must choose between Jeremy Hill, Vereen, Hillman, and Marcel Reece for my RB2 in a half ppr

currently have Vereen locked and loaded

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Loooooooom: They are all kinda bunched up except for Reece. I’m going Hill, but Vereen is a flip of the coin right there.

  10. Fizz says:
    (link)

I just dropped luck and picked up cousins to start this week. My back up is taylor. Should i drop taylor and run woth romo or stafford for the rest of the season?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Fizz: I think having Romo in a few weeks is going to pay dividends.

  11. Eg624 says:
    (link)

Have Tyrod Taylor as bench backup for Drew Brees…. Drop him for Romo? Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Eg624: Yes, that’s good move at this point.

  12. Joe says:
    (link)

    1. Would you rather start Fitzmagic or Tyrod tonight?

    2. Is Chris Polk worth rostering in a 10-team PPR? Considering dropping him for Tavon Austin. Either would only ever be a flex option, absent a radical change.

    • Joe says:
      (link)

      @Joe:

(Oh, and if you’d add Austin, would you start him over L. Fitzgerald this week? I’m worried about Fitzgerald getting Shermanized)

      Sorry for triple dipping!

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Joe: It’s close, but still going Fitz there. Sherman covers multiple receivers, I’m not too worried.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Joe: I’m going Fitz here, and I think he sorta is. Depends on roster, but he’s fine as a depth piece.

  13. Thugnificent says:
    (link)

Cole Beasley, Doug Baldwin or Chris Givens?

I’ve lost Keenan Allen, LeVeon Bell, Malcolm Floyd and possibly will lose Lesean Mccoy (hope not) this season…so I’m on tilt atm (4-5 record).

If you were in my position, which receiver would you start?

    Thanks!

    • Thugnificent says:
      (link)

      @Thugnificent:

Oops, forget to mention Funchess as well.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Thugnificent: Givens, but it’s close with Baldwin.

  14. Clint says:
    (link)

You’re killing me, Jay! I know I could go with straight ranks but it seems each week one or two of my guys is SO close to each I’m splitting hairs for starters. For instance:

    1) You’re willing to roll with the uncertainty of Campbell wanting to get Ajayi more touches vs the tough Eagles D w/Lamar over the uncertainty of Bolden/White mucking up Blount’s prime matchup w/the Giants? I know Lamar’s been money lately but I figured Blount would be the choice there even in PPR.

    2) My Packers D’s stunk, I get it, but the Lions have stunk worse and you have Calvin JUST ahead of Cobb while I need one for a WR2 so roll with Megatron & hope the Lions aren’t gonna be Lion-y on me?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Clint: It is close, that’s for sure. Going Blount here, but Miller could have a bigger impact. I guess Blount is the floor outcome. That’s not overthinking it on Megatron, I’m honestly fine with either.

  15. friar says:
    (link)

I’m considering two trades in a 14-team, non-ppr league. Should I do the first one, the second one, or both?

    1) Give Bennett to receive Decker (hinges on Fitzpatrick’s injury, in my mind)
    2) Give Adams and Hyde to receive Megatron

    Roster (start QB / 2RB / 2WR / TE / flex)
    QB: Brady
RB: DWill, Anderson, Hyde (injured), Ellington, Riddick, Bolden
    WR: Adams, Moncrief, Aiken, Wallace
    TE: Gronk, Bennett

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@friar: 1) True, and if he goes, I like Decker slightly there, and I’d hold on Hyde. Your running backs are pretty weak right now.

      • friar says:
        (link)

@Jay: Thanks! I guess this means you’re confident Hyde will (a) come back from his injury, and (b) play better than he has so far? I’m probably biased from having been burnt by his play so far this year, but I can’t help worrying Hyde might be useless for the rest of the season, and the opportunity to get a true #1 WR is tempting…

It wouldn’t solve the underlying RB issue, but would the second trade be more advisable if I gave up Moncrief instead of Adams?

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@friar: I’m iffy, but I think that’s the best option. It depends on the return, of course, but I’d try see what else is out there on the RB landscape.

          • friar says:
            (link)

@Jay: Sorry, just to clarify: are you saying trusting Hyde is the best option, or trading Moncrief and Hyde for Calvin is the best option? Thanks!

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@friar: I think you should shop for a running back to be honest.

  16. 740 says:
    (link)

    Sup Jay,

Do you think Latavius plays this wkend?

If he doesnt play who should start at flex. CJ, Reed?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@740: I think so, but we’ll know more tomorrow. If not, I’d probably flex Reed.

  17. Mike says:
    (link)

How do you feel about flexing Delanie Walker over Jeremy Hill, J-Matt, and Lafell? My fantasy season is on the line, I’m looking for a high risk, high reward strategy.

    Thanks !

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mike: Probably sticking with Hill for the high risk.

  18. G says:
    (link)

12 team ppr, one flex. Was offered AP, Rishard Mathews, and Romo for my Peyton Manning, gio Bernard, Bolden, and Diggs.

I already have Matt Ryan in addition to manning and here are my Wr and RB corps:

Wr: Calvin, AJ Green, Diggs, Nate Washington, Vincent Jackson

RB: J Stew, Gio, Ryan Mathews, Bolden, Spiller, Joique Bell

I actually like Romo over Manning and AP is a clear upgrade. But is the down grade from Diggs to Mathews a big deal? thanks in advance

    • G says:
      (link)

      @G:

Also wondering about giving up Bolden. He such a question mark and this guy seems to want me to decide on trade before we get to see how Bolden is used Sunday

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@G: It’s Gabbert, I don’t believe he’s capable of anything higher than mediocre.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @G: I think that’s a pretty fair trade. I’d do it. I don’t think it’s a huge downgrade to Matthews.

  19. Hometown Heroes says:
    (link)

I’m in a tough spot with wood head Julio and gore on a bye. I am in a must win situation in a 12 team standard league where we can keep two players for next year. I am thinking of trading Julio and Karlos Williams for Lamar Miller and Allen Robinson(I would probably keep at $7 for next yr).

I would be starting the following if I don’t make the trade:

    RB- Starks and K Williams
    Wr: Cobb and Lafell
    Flex- Desean Jackson

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Hometown Heroes: Depends what Miller’s salary is, but I like the deal from a keeper standpoint.

      • Hometown Heroes says:
        (link)

@Jay: He is $38. My thought is if I don’t win this week at least I would have a decent keeper. I am definitely trying to win it this year. Not sure if that changes your answer. Thanks again

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Hometown Heroes: I think it’s a balance of trying to win now and build for the future. I like the deal because of that.

  20. Fizz says:

Watkins, benjamin, maclin, marvin jones, green-beckham, A. Blue.

@Fizz: Maclin, Jones, Blue and Watkins.

  21. letsgoletsgo says:
    (link)

i’ve been spammin all the writers on razzball with my question to see what the consensus is, here is my situation below:
ive got some difficult roster decisions to make. i picked up bortles as a bye week replacement for matt ryan. looking at bortles schedule the next 6 weeks it looks great (baltimore, ten, sd, ten, indy, atl, Nola).. i also have andrew luck in my IR slot if he ever comes back this year.

my only rbs are miller, freeman and forsett. the only handcuff i own is tevin coleman.

would you drop matt ryan for jay ajayi or javorius allen and handcuff miller or forsett?

i could drop vernon davis and c-mike too but i have a gut feeling one of those guys still hits, plus the DMC owner is my biggest competition and if dmc goes down that guys team would be crippled.

also i’m kind of keeping matt ryan in case I face the julio jones owner in the playoffs, then i can negate a big julio game by starting matty ice.

    here is my current roster
qb–> matt ryan, andrew luck, blake bortles
rb–> miller, freeman, forsett, coleman, c-mike
    wr–>alshon, dez, antonio, sammy, martavis
    te–>vernon, martellus

i’m worried if miller or forsett goes down it could sink my team. i dont have javorius allen or ajayi (both on waivers). rb’s on the wire that arent owned typically go for $60-80 when the lead rb goes down… but everyone (including me) is getting tight on their FAAB. also trade deadline is passed so waiver wire is the only opiton

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@letsgoletsgo: Not yet, no. I’m not impressed too much by Ajayi, but Allen is interesting. I’d react only if something happens.

      • letsgoletsgo says:
        (link)

@Jay: thanks. i have this internal battle with matt ryan, vernon and c-mike. i can justify dropping all of them and i can justify keeping all of them too.

        appreciate all you guys do.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@letsgoletsgo: I kinda felt that too. And thanks!

  22. Velocity_X says:

My season is basically over so I am trying to make moves for next season. Currently shopping Lamar Miller and have a few people interested. One person is offering a 3rd rounder plus Jordan Matthews (R9 Keeper next year). Have another person who offered a 3rd and I might be able to get Bortles (R14 Keeper) with as well.

    My roster:
    QB: Cutler / Luck
RB: Ingram, Miller, Charcandrick, Langford, and Vereen
WR: Diggs, Golden Tate, T. Benjamin, Marvin Jones, and DGB
    TE: Ben Watson

Basically looking for keeper potential at this point and a decent value for Miller. Trying to leverage as much as possible.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Velocity_X: I like the Matthews trade there.

  23. Benny says:
    (link)

I’m in a deep league and have a roster spot to spare. Which of these guys would you pick up as a potential “lottery ticket” should the starter get injured? Tevin Coleman, Jay Ajayi, or Knile Davis? Only Davis would be a handcuff for me… I don’t own Coleman or Ajayi.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Benny: Coleman. I think he’ll be more relevant as the weeks add up.

      • Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
        (link)

@Jay: back when he played over freeman he was simply better.

  24. Jensen says:
    (link)

Jay, how do you feel about trading Eli and Barnidge for Cam? I’m set as 1 or 2 seed in playoffs and Jordan reed is my other TE.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jensen: I’m fine with that upgrade.

  25. Money Mike says:

Hey Jay great work as always. Better starter for tonight. Karlos or Shady? I have Lafell playing in my WR2 spot, anyone better I should play? My bench is Nate Washington, Kamar Aiken, and Sammy Twatkins. Thanks

@Money Mike: Thanks! Leaning Shady there, but it’s a tough thing to gauge.

    Hey Jay,

What are your thoughts on Jay Ajayi as the potential heir to the starting RB job in Miami next season? I have a very average team in a keeper league and have a roster space open due to Dion Lewis going down to injury. Do you think Ajayi is a good stash play?

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@OldMilwaukeePounders: I’m iffy on that proposition. I think Miller is the guy for now and the near future. That being said, I still think he’s a good enough stash here.

  27. Woba the hutt says:
    (link)

I know you have Sammy Watkins above them, but do you like someone like Crowder or Britt who has a much more favorable match up over Watkins who could still be gimpy and is going against Revis?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Woba the hutt: I understand the argument, but I think Watkins is the guy the hear. Revis usually plays all over the place, so Watkins should get some looks.

  28. Jack says:
    (link)

Marcel Reese or Taiwan Jones as Latavius’ cuff?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Jack: Reece, but it’s close.

  29. Josh says:
    (link)

I have to make the choice of betting on J Stewart starting or playing Karlos Williams tonight, what should I do?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Josh: Goin with the JStew here.

  30. Cole says:
    (link)

I have the privilege of starting 3 of these guys this week, ppr, .2 pp carry. Green-beckham, Amendola, lacey, or I. Crowel. Thanks Jay!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Cole: I’d go first three there.

  31. Steve Stevenson says:
    (link)

    1) Standard scoring, if L. Murray’s out, would you start Reece or Sims?

    2) Who are your first and second drops (looking at these guys as bench fliers primarily) among D. Cobb, J. White and DGB?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve Stevenson: Reece probably and you have the drops in the correct order.

  32. Fizz says:
    (link)

Standard league. Need to pick 2 wr and one flex.
Rishard Mathews, decker, james jones, a. Blue, t. Benjamin, barnidge

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Fizz: Mathews, Jones, and Blue.

  33. Crapshoot Kershaw says:
    (link)

in the karlos will vs jennings vs crowell i figured karwill would win, and in consensus he does, but i gotta choose this soon of course, damn thursday games. guessing NYJ run D scares you more than most.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Crapshoot Kershaw: Yeah, I hate TNF fantasy wise, always screws me over. I’m leaning Karlos out of that group, but it’s very close.

  34. Frank White says:
    (link)

Sup Jay.. My QB is on Bye.. I picked up Fitz but can grab Cousins. I’m a huge Jets fan but are you 100% Cousins over Fitz this week?? I only have about an hour.. Thanks buddy!!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank White: I am 110% sure. 90% of the time.

      • Frank White says:
        (link)

        LOL.. Good Looks!!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank White: I’m kidding by the way. I’m all for homerism, so if you really want to go that way, they are “close” enough to be honest. I don’t think it’s a game changer either way.

      • Frank White says:
        (link)

I know it was a joke but hoping there was truth cause i just dropped Fitz for Cousins.. Crap.. Now i gotta root for the Jets and against Fitz. LOL

  35. Frank White says:
    (link)

Oh.. Flex. Antonio Andrews or James White? If McCluster doesn’t play

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank White: Andrews probably. I want to see how the White/Bolden thing plays out this week.

  36. John says:
    (link)

    Qb- Brady
    Rb- Lamar
    Rb- J Stew
    Wr- Antonio
    Wr- J Matt
    Te- Delanie
    Flex- Diggs
    D/ST- Rams
    K- Blair Walsh

    Bench-
    Julio
    Gates
    Woodhead
    Hurns
    Karlos Williams

Any suggestions on tweaks to the lineup?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

Looks pretty well-balanced, good depth. I don’t see anything obvious here. Should be a playoff team, to be honest.

      • John says:
        (link)

@Jay: Would you start Hurns over Diggs or J Matt, its .5 PPR

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@John: Nope. I love Diggs there. Matthews is tougher, but generally no.

  37. Lex says:
    (link)

Do I start Karlos Williams over ivory Marshall Ingram cobb or evans?…10 team standard scoring…why is my gut telling me to start him even tho he has the worst matchup of the bunch?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      I wouldn’t, no.

  38. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

Who are you playing at Q/W/R/T this week:

    Cooks
    Charcandrick
    Forte

Or drop Cooks or Charcandrick or Woodhead for McCown, Cutler, Winston?

    0.5 PPR – 3 point bonus at 85 yards receiving/100 yards rushing/250 yards passing – 6 point bonus at 135 yards receiving/150 yards rushing/335 yards passing

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Wilsonian: Maybe not Forte. Who’s your other QB?

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Jay: Dalton is my QB1 this week with Ryan on bye and Romo on IR. So those are my options. No one else is droppable. Right now I have Cooks in.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Wilsonian: Yeah, I think you gotta roll with what you got.

          • Wilsonian says:
            (link)

@Jay: leave Cooks in at that flex spot and not drop anyone?

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

@Wilsonian: I think so, for this week.

              • Wilsonian says:
                (link)

@Jay: I’m set after this week. I’m 2 games up in 1st and have the most points by about 200. Sucks I have Freeman, Ryan, and Jones on BYE, especially with Forte and Romo hurt.

                • Jay

                  Jay says:
                  (link)

                  @Wilsonian: Ah, gotcha, good luck!

  39. The imp says:
    (link)

Trying to feel better about my RB bench in shallow 12 man PPR…I feel thin after losing Bell a couple weeks ago and a weekly resetting wire has kept me off obvious pickups.
My starters are Forsett and Blount with Sims and MJones on the bench.
Would you make a change to add Hyde (on waivers), Riddick, Blue, Joique or handcuff with Buck? I’m 8-1 and past all but my QB bye so I can go for upside.
    Thank you.

    • Montezuma's Revenge... right now says:
      (link)

@The imp: might want more than 4 total RB’s, but if are set on doing that grab hyde.

      • The imp says:
        (link)

@Montezuma’s Revenge… right now: I hear that. Our benches are only 4 deep. I’m holding LaFell and Golden in those spots behind Edelman, Jeffrey and ARob. I’ve thought about cutting Tate loose though his value is above wire replacement (barely) vs those rbs.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@The imp: I would add Hyde, totally.

  40. Jake says:
    (link)

Odell Beckham as your #1 ranked WR that’s a little surprising as everyone knows that Belichick usually does a great job of taking away the opposing teams threat. I am just wondering what your thought process is with that ranking ?

    Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Jake: The Giants always seem to do well against the Pats, and their secondary hasn’t been that solid.

  41. BEE says:
    (link)

need 3 standard league oh wise one….. COOPER AIKEN LAFELL MATTHEWS thanks :D

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@BEE: I’d go Cooper, Aiken, and Matthews. Any time!

  42. Zandy says:
    (link)

    Hey jay!
Couldn’t get anything done at the trade deadline. I only have one roster move left this week. Since trade deadline has passed I feel like waiver position is now more important. As I look ahead to next week. What should I do with my last bench spot?
Draughn, Christine, Ajayi, Tennessee D (get jax thurs) or Tamme?

    Standard scoring
Qb: rivers (flacco in for bye)
WR: Julio demaryius Calvin ARob Jbrown (start 2 and usually flex 1)
RB: Ivory Jstew cwest gore mjones (start 2)
    Te: delanie
Def: cincy (@ AZ next week, like no def on the wire – 12 teamer and everyone carries 2 def)

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Ajayi, reading that he might get some goal line action soon.
