2014 In-Season Accuracy: 57.7% (31st out of 133 Experts, 61.4% Highest, 49.1% Lowest).

Week 3 Results: 57.4% (88th out of 128 Experts, 67.1% Highest, 44.3% Lowest).

I have to relay the breaking news people. The Cardinals, Bengals, Browns, Broncos, Seahawks, and Rams are missing this week. Somewhere out there, a zookeeper is shedding one tear. (Animals can be brown, so it technically works. Shut up.) But don’t worry everyone, this was supposed to happen. No search parties are necessary. Why? Two reasons– First, this was all planned, as we have reached the first bye week in the 2014 schedule, and teams need a break after just three games. (Hmmm.) Second, I can actually see Peyton Manning’s forehead from my house. So don’t worry, they’re still around, but will just be there on Sunday in spirit. I’m reading that sentence and still trying to figure out the existential meaning of it all. Life bro, it keeps on a happening. I mean, why is Grape Nuts cereal called that? It contains neither grapes, nor does it contain nuts… whoa. WHOA. Now, onto the rankings! With more bye! (That’s hot.)

Note: These STANDARD and PPR rankings are for this week’s slate of games only. These rankings are not cumulative, nor are they an indicator of any future value. They are based solely on this week’s performance in regards to fantasy football production.

only have two moves left this week and will probably stream bridgewater with the open spot from the trade

with the other move someone dropped fitzgerald is he worth the waiver claim (#4) or should i go after sankey
was thinking sankey because i need RB but i saw fitz had 7 RZ targets
and who to drop palmer ( who could be valuable might even play him vs den next week ) gates (have olsen)or terrance williams for either sankey or waiver claim on fitz

@barker: Yeah, I think I saw this in the other thread, I liked it if you put in Allen instead of Welker, so nice.

If you need a RB, go Sankey. I would actually drop Palmer for Fitz as well.

      • Barker says:
        (link)

@Jay: thank you for the response and excellent rankings all year sir.
Picked up bridgewater have one move left this week other wise this wouldnt be an issue

I can put in waiver claims ( i have #4 ) on fitz or quick i guess i will use first priority on fitz and second on quick they both clear friday morning

Or i can just get sankey for free right now or wait and see if either wr passes waivers

        I would be dropping palmer

        Rbs lacy murray moreno
Wr cobb garcon allen williams gordon

I seriously dont know if i need wr or rb more help me sir and while it would be nice to have fitz’ ownership level i think sankey or quick could be better/higher upside

        • Barker says:
          (link)

@Barker: someone dropped adrian peterson should i concentrate on him or avoid as i have gordon and moreno ??

Also starks is there should i cuff lacy ? I dont think anyone is gonna pick back up this week

          • Jay

            Jay says:
            (link)

@Barker: I would take a chance on AP, sure. Nobody talks about it, but there are plea deals, so the court date might not matter.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Barker: If it doesn’t affect you going for Fitz, I’d get Sankey now. Probably a RB, but just get the best player now, and figure it out later if something happens.

  2. SMLV1 says:

    2. Drop Bradshaw, K. Robinson or K. Davis for any of these RBs – Gerhart, Sankey, F. Jackson, Greene, Blue, Asiata, Crowell, (OUT – Mathews, Tate, Moreno, Ingram).

    3. Drop T. Williams or J. Hunter for any of these WRs – Evans, Wheaton, Bowe, Shorts, Jennings, Nicks, Hawkins, Hartline, Matthews, A. Robinson, Royal

10 Team Standard Redraft League Questions

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@SMLV1: 1. I’m holding here. After this week, I’ll probably move on from Wright. 2. I would hold for now. 3. I’m picking up Royal everywhere, but I wouldn’t drop those two guys for those names right now.

  3. SMLV1 says:
    (link)

Why so low on Vernon Davis and Khiry Robinson this week?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@SMLV1: I haven’t had a chance to rewatch the Saints game, but from what I saw, I wasn’t terribly impressed. The Dallas rush defense isn’t good, so I might move him up a bit for Sunday. I’m comfortable where he’s at for the moment though.

I’d like to get more news on the ankle injury with Davis until I rank him higher.

  4. goodfold2 says:
    (link)

daniels over miller (which is exactly the same as many other experts) simply due to him being likely bigger part of the offense at BAL than miller at PIT? i ask since CAR is currently 3rd against TE’s, and TB is 25th.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@goodfold2: I believe I have Miller slightly above Daniels. I like the match up better there against TB.

  5. Crazy old guy babbling in the corner says:
    (link)

So you still have luck ranked that high, even against the Titans this week… And rothlisberger vs the worlds worst Bucs?

I got both and was actually considering starting Roth over luck… Guess thats a no?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Crazy old guy babbling in the corner: I’d go with Luck. Titans are okay, and I’m not sure the Bucs are that bad. If they are, they’d need to create a mercy rule.

  6. Tarman Got Him says:
    (link)

Would you drop C. Johnson or K. Robinson for Steven Jackson?

  7. Steve Stevenson says:
    (link)

Standard, 5 pt bonus at 100 yds, which WR are you stashing–Shorts, Marvin Jones or John Brown?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Steve Stevenson: Jones is the safe pick here, but if it’s for a stash, I might roll the dice on John Brown.

  8. boomgoesdynamite says:
    (link)

i like how down everyone was on beast mode, now look at him.

would you give up jamal charles and brandon marshall

    for…………….. doug martin/colston/andre johnson.

i dont own knile davis, but i think doug could be rbbbc, and anre johnson is old. then again marshallls ankle….

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@boomgoesdynamite: Totally, and for the record, I had him in my top-15 RB, but wasn’t convinced Christine Michael was going to be viable until next season at the earliest. And I would hold there.

  9. apolitician says:
    (link)

julian edelman/monteee ball or bishop sankey/emmanuel sanders?

what about: demarcho murray/kelvin benjamin for le’veon?

    • apolitician says:
      (link)

@apolitician: in a keeper league btw

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@apolitician: Sankey/Sanders and I think that’s paying too much for Bell, even in a keeper. Shouldn’t buy him after that game he just had.

  10. mileycyrussays says:
    (link)

in a keeper league, would you deal

Dez/jordy for colston/andre johnson/ le’veon bell? le’veon looks amazing right now, and he’s our leagues minimum keeper price.

what about calvin johnson for andre jonson/le’veon bell?
or montee ball/keenan allen for le’veon?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@mileycyrussays: Depends what the other values are at, but if he’s min, I would do it.

Again, depends on values, but I would keep Megatron, and Ball/Allen is okay… seems like an overpay right now though.

  11. Napkins says:
    (link)

Are we straight dropping Brady now? Or holding on a little longer to see if he figures it out?

Here’s what the wire looks like:
    Geno Smith
    dalton
    Eli manning
    Manuel
    A.smith
    Flacco
    Roethlisberger
    Stanton (& Palmer)
    Bortles
    Bridge water
    A. Davis

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Napkins: Based on that list, I’d hold one more week then reevaluate.

  12. Rick James says:
    (link)

    1. Would you rather have Kelce or Walker the rest of the season in a PPR leauge?

    2. Was offered Bell, demaryius thomas and Kennen allen for Mccoy, Antonio Brown and Patterson should I take that?

    Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Rick James: Kelce. I’d hold there.

  13. Kendrick Lamar says:
    (link)

Alright dual QB, my other QB is stafford:

    I give: brady and floyd
    Get: maclin and flacco (meh)

    Give: brady
    Get: kelvin and flacco

    I honestly hate flacco. Ppr

    • Kendrick Lamar says:
      (link)

@Kendrick Lamar: also was offered brady floyd sankey for bush maclin and flacco

      • Jay

        Jay says:
        (link)

@Kendrick Lamar: Tempting, but I think I might hold there. I don’t like the value difference between Bush and Sankey at the moment.

  14. The People's Strudel says:
    (link)

    Jay,

This weeks buys are a killer like Sarah Jessica Parker’s face. Two quick trade questions:

My R. White for his T.Williams and J.Bell

    AND

    K.Cousins for his B.Bortles and Z.Stacy/D.Hopkins

As always, this ranking is a Godsend. Cheers!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@The People’s Strudel: Bueller sure liked it.

Yes on the first one and yes on the second. I’d want Stacy.

      • A Wesley Snipes Life says:
        (link)

@Jay: yes, but wasn’t that much after bueller was bueller? (getting into weird identity conditions here on multiple levels)

  15. the pillar & the stones says:
    (link)

Bryant and Taliaferro for Lacy and Hawkins?
    .5 PPR

  16. Brian says:
    (link)

Better for ROS – Allen Robinson or Davante Adams?

Trade theory question – I’m light on my WR production this year (Fitzy, Wright, Watkins). But I’m deep at RB (Bell, Ball, Mathews, Bradshaw, DMC). Is it better to trade a higher rated talent like Bell/Ball for a better WR or a lower talent like DMC for a mediocre WR? I suppose mileage may vary by league, so for my purposes it’s a 14 team .5 PPR H2H league. I have the option to start 3 RBs AND 3 WRs (1 W/R/T flex and 1 W/T flex).

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Brian: Leaning Robinson today, but they are so close right now for me.

I’d go for lower end changes for now, some tinkering, and see how it plays out.

  17. thegreaterdan says:
    (link)

Just lost Woodhead and have Ry Matthews on Injured list. Need a back for this week:
MJD, Blount, Pierce, Taliafaro all available. Leaning MJD…

Also, looking forward, both Westy and Crowelll are FAs. Grab one?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@thegreaterdan: Pierce there, but MJD is fine. I don’t like either of them, but you just need one to fill in.

  18. orangeredyellowblue says:
    (link)

larry fitz/andre ellington/josh gordon FOR montee ball/andre johnson/ jordan cameron

    or

    larry fitz/ ellington/ stafford FOR montee/andre/tony romo/ gerhart

    or

demarco murray/demaryius thomas for leveon bell/julian edelman.

we worried about andre, fit, demaryius, or cameron? all have started under expectations.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@orangeredyellowblue: left side on all of them. Fitz and Cameron a little. I think Ellington has done well. DT, I’m holding.

  19. Mike says:
    (link)

Looking at DST..why lions over Miami?
    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mike: The Jets are so random, and while the Raiders are pretty bad, I’m not sold on the Dolphins defense being anything more than average. Lions have better personnel up front.

  20. orangeredyellowblue says:
    (link)

your rankings obviously dont include ROS since guys on bye are left out. that’s why the guy who says ‘check rankings’ is wrong since we’re not looking at a trade for one week, but ros.

that being said. ros, rather have:

    fitz
    keenan
    andre johnson

    at rb, rather have:
    ellington
    montee
    frank gore

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@orangeredyellowblue: ROS rankings come out next week. I’ll be updating them every quarter of the season, essentially every four weeks after that.

      Keenan and Ellington ROS.

    • Mordacious Levator says:
      (link)

@orangeredyellowblue: that guy means this week’s rankings (each week), and clearly his intent isn’t to help anyone at all.

  21. mike durkee says:
    (link)

Im in dire need of a RB for week 4 due to the bye week. I cant trade for one, so im left with FA. My choices are

Starks, Greene, Oliver, Helu, or Blue on waivers.

Big gamble on Blue if Foster plays. Im thinking Starks may see more touches to establish a runninggame against CHI. I also like Olivers upside.

  22. 740 says:
    (link)

Joique Bell over Vereen? I though Jets Def was tough to run on…KC gives up most Rec TD to RB’s and we all know thats Vereen’s game.

    Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@740: It is, but I’ve been wholly unimpressed with Vereen’s usage thus far. I may reevaluate Saturday night, but I’m tired of ranking Vereen as a top-20 guy when he’s producing top-60 numbers.

      • 740 says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Thanks Jay, I might just go with Joique over Vereen.

      • Mordacious Levator says:
        (link)

@Jay: just as we are playing him over 1-2 other guys who are ranked by many as 5-12 spots lower, yet have in weeks 2-3 produced more every week. there are likely more than just me having done that in those weeks.

  23. Frank White says:
    (link)

Sup Jay… So my lineup in my 12 team 3 WR PPR is
    Cam
    Antonio Brown
    Maclin
    Cruz
    D Murray
    Bush
    Donnell
    Fred Jackson
    Mathews
    Palmer
    Bortles
    Miles
    Adams
    Blue
I know I got Palmer coming back next week but this guy wants to trade me Cousins for Mathews. Do you think I really need Cousins when I got Cam and Palmer plus I would lose my only other RB that can replace my other guys if injuries occur and Bye weeks. Is it worth it??

    • Frank White says:
      (link)

AvtuALLY I don’t think I waNNA do it.. can’t afford it

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Frank White: Naw, you don’t need that many QBs.

  24. Cole says:
    (link)

The guy who has manning on a bye also has rivers. I am stuck with brady with no good options on waivers. Bridgewater I guess… But I should try to send brady and a decent flex option like Rainey or Wright for rivers next week right? I am loaded at receiver (Green, demarius, and Floyd). 12 teams, Ppr.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Cole: Yeah, that’s fine. I’d trade Rainey, as Tate’s return will complicate things there.

  25. thomas pavella says:
    (link)

Why so high on ebron in ppr leagues?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@thomas pavella: That was quite a jump. Fantasypros auto-sync’s the PPR rankings based on my standard rankings. I’ll have to look into why that happened.

  26. MooseOutFront says:
    (link)

    rather own: Blount or MJD?

  27. Bryce Krispie Treats says:
    (link)

Why so high on Ebron this week? Im currently in a bye week crunch for TE and have Brandon Myers (TB) in this slot. Ebron is a FA. Should I make the switch?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bryce Krispie Treats: The PPR system is auto-synced, but I’m curious how he ended up so high, I’ll have to manually update that. I’m going with Myers.

  28. Wilsonian says:
    (link)

What do you think of picking up Tate and Moreno over Asiata and Rainey after this week? Of course, I’d like to see what happens with Rainey now that Martin is supposed to be back before I cut him. But Tate has been given the go ahead as the #1 back, from what I’ve read. And I don’t trust Asiata much, and it seems like my bench would be better suited to have Moreno and Tate, especially since their BYE weeks are so damn early.

    0.5 PPR – 3 point bonus at 85 yards rec/100 yards rush – 6 point bonus at 135 yards rec/150 yards rush

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Wilsonian: Yeah, I agree with those moves.

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Jay: Good to hear that I’m not crazy in my moves. Would you dump Asiata first for either of them? I don’t plan on playing him this week unless something tragic happens to my team.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Wilsonian: Yeah, if he’s just bench fodder, go ahead.

  29. Nick says:
    (link)

Hey Jay, after this week is out and I can figure out who I can drop at RB (Rainey or K Davis or both) as I have Murray, R Jennings, Asiata, Hyde, and the 2 mentioned above..

Ingram was just dropped to waivers and Forsett too…then at WR there is J Brown, Sanu, Kerley, K. Benjamin, H Douglas, M Jones & N Washington..

I need WR cause I only have Cobb, Edelman, Wallace & G Jennings…but those 2 waiver wire options look intresting although my league is a 10-team non-ppr…THANKS!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Nick: I’d drop Rainey for Ingram. WR is light, but if the time comes, you can drop Asiata or Davis for a WR there.

  30. Miller Time says:
    (link)

How come you are little down on Lamar Miller? He is facing a Raiders run defense that is getting gashed every week of the season so far. I see him as a top 5 play for this week.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Miller Time: Not totally sold on the Miami offense, and I’m always hesitant with Miller, but that’s not to say I’m really low on him. I might put him ahead of Gore, but I think the other RB’s are ahead of him, despite the Raiders.

  31. Clint says:
    (link)

Grade the trade and if I should make any moves in my bye week now w/the free agents available (do I need another WR or a TE?), please sir:

    I gave Gio & Cousins
    I got A-Rod & Spiller

New roster for my 11 team, 5 keeper ppr league:
    QB: A-Rod
    QB/RB/WR/TE: Cam
    RB: Le’Veon
    WR: Megatron, Cobb
    RB/WR/TE: Garcon
Bench: Montee, Spiller, Vereen, Romo, Tannehill, Wright

Best free agent options: D. Walker, James Jones, Hawkins, Quick, J. Matthews, EJ Manuel, Bortles, Wheaton, Hester, Allen Robinson

    Thanks as always Jay!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Clint: Yeah, I like that trade for you. I like Gio, but I think Rodgers will regain his form soon.

      • Clint says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

Think I should drop Tanny and/or Wright to pick up one or more of the free agents available? Torrey Smith’s still out there along with the others too.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Clint: I’d drop Tanny for Hawkins.

  32. yet to post a win in 2014... says:
    (link)

Hey Jay – Romo the Untrustworthy v schizo Saints or Cousins the Unknown v the Giants.

Saints got torched in week 1, then played tough next two games. Giants gave up QB1 points to Fitz the Beard.

Admittedly, not great choices…but you gotta dance with who brung you.

Appreciate your advice. I really need thd most from my starters this week.

  33. my sisters friend boyfriend says:
    (link)

Whats the latest on Charles…is he gonna play? I have Knile Davis and would love to have him start, im hella short handed this bye week with Manning, D.Thomas, Harvin and Ellington out.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@my sisters friend boyfriend: The latest I saw was that he has an expanded role at practice today. That could mean anything. Stay tuned!

    • Mordacious Levator says:
      (link)

@my sisters friend boyfriend: this was also the same coaches/front office guys who said for 6 days that he had a high ankle sprain, somehow practiced on it, was near to playing, didn’t play, and at about this time the claim was changed to never have been a high ankle sprain at all (duh if he practiced on it), but a “bruise”. I’m sure KC’s front office will use mind games like this to refer to a concussion in the future as a bruise, (which it is, of the brain); all of this to say, i would trust KC’s tales less than Hoodie’s at this point.

  34. Shifty says:
    (link)

So I play in a 12 team PPR league with 6 point passing TDs an an OP slot, which means you can start 2 QBs if you choose to.

I have Cutler, Stafford and Cousins and I’m leaving Stafford on my bench. Jay am I just insane or COMPLETELY FUCKING INSANE?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Shifty: In between. But you can argue it. Cousins may shred the Giants tonight, or be derpy. It’s a risk, for sure, probably why I have him ranked right in the middle. I have no idea what to think.

  35. Allan says:
    (link)

Jay I was in a pretty desperate situation at rb. I lost matthews and woodhead leaving lacy and k. robinson as my starters with hyde, starks, and freeman on my bench. My receivers are d. thomas, michael floyd, wright, and benjamin. I traded benjamin and hyde for martin and royal. What do you think? It’s a 14 team league so there’s nothing on the wire.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Allan: I like that trade for you slightly. Even more so if I’m right about Royal getting a larger piece of the pie with Woodhead out.

  36. Ryan says:
    (link)

In a 10 team ppr, I am looking to shakeup my team. Should I trade Damarco Murray and Kelvin Benjamin for Megatron and Rashad Jennings?

    Qb Matthew Stafford
    Wr Jordy Nelson
    Wr Michael Floyd
    Rb Lesean McCoy
    Rb Demarco Murray
    Te Julius Thomas
    Wr/rb/te cordarrelle patterson
    Bn golden tate
    Bn lorenzo taliaferro
    Bn fred jackson
    Bn kelvin benjamin
    Bn travis kelce
    Bn josh gordon
    Bb jeremy hill

    Def bengals

    K phil dawson

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Ryan: I would do that trade.

  37. Bob bow says:
    (link)

Hey Jay! Need best 3 of these RBs for this week out of:
    – Asiata vs Atl
    – Fred J at Hou
    – Pierre at Dal
    – Doug M at Pit
    – Knile D vs NE

    thx!!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bob bow: Doug Martin, Asiata, and Thomas. Knile for Thomas if Charles doesn’t go.

Hi Jay! I’m trying to decide on a streaming DST for this week (and, potentially, beyond).

I’m deciding between the Lions and Steelers, which both look like good plays this week based on your rankings. Typically, I’d go with the higher-rated Lions, but looking ahead at each team’s upcoming schedules, I’m wondering if I should use the Steelers instead in anticipation of some more juicy matchups on the way.

Am I right in thinking the Steelers will be a top DST for the next few weeks, and do you think that’s enough to give them a nudge past the Lions this week?

    Lions: @NYJ, Buf, @Min, NO
    Steelers: TB, @Jac, @Cle, Hou

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@friar: Yeah, if this is more than one week, go Steelers there.

  39. Braun Weasleys says:
    (link)

You have houstons defense rated so much higher than buffalos! I cant decide who tonstart this week. I know Hou is home but their offense is so turnover prone. I was thinking maybe start buffalo if arian cant play but Hou if arian plays?

    Haha thanks Jay

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Braun Weasleys: Some of has to do with being at home too, and the Bills offense can be scatter shot. I may move the Bills up a bit as we get closer to Sunday though

That sounds like a fair middle ground.

Drop any of these guys for Royal? (1/2 PPR)

    G Jennings
    Blue
    Hyde
    Peterson
    Blount
    MJD
    K. Wright
    Hartline

      • MooseOutFront says:
        (link)

@Jay: Thanks Jay. How about drop Jennings for Royal? (other league)

  41. Lemmingness says:
    (link)

Standard scoring, which side between k. Wright and josh gordon? Is it close?

    Thanks a bunch

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Lemmingness: Depends on how your team is doing and the bench, but I wouldn’t mind doing this and sitting on Gordon.

  42. richie says:
    (link)

Jay, jeremy hill or ur my boy Blue, A. ROS? Need to drop one

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @richie: I’d want Hill ROS.

  43. Denile Davis says:
    (link)

I am good at QB and looking to deal Cousins for WR help. Looking at Harvin…non ppr. Or should I go for Roddy? We can trade draft picks in the league. I should be able to get a pick swap in my favor on this too, rt?

    Good write up. Thanks!

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Denile Davis: I’d go for either. Those are both good trades for you. (I’m leaning White.)

  44. Switch Cutters says:
    (link)

Jay, why so high on Joique Bell and Vereen this week? Got both and they have been brutally bad of late, especially Bell. Jets D has been pretty good against the run, and he didn’t even get targeted last week. Also, if Keenan Allen doesn’t set JAX on fire this week, I’m punching Frank Reich in the face.

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Switch Cutters: I don’t think it’s me being necessarily high, the bye week removes some guys, and I have those guys ranked there because of potential volume.

  45. Timbo says:
    (link)

Hey man would you trade cousins or romo to get an upgrade at RB?
& what kind of RB should I target ? I have brady too.

Two teams in my league who could use an upgrade one team has doug martin, joique bell & Trent Richardson

Other team has forte, Foster, Ivory, Shonn green, Khiry robinson & stacy.

My rbs are tate, gio Bernard, Jeremy hill, terrance west, DMC, forsett, Ahmad Bradshaw & gerhart.

Or flip forsett for Andrew Hawkins?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Timbo: I’d trade Cousins, sure. I like Stacy, and then, Martin and then Bell there.

I’d do that Forsett deal as well.

      • Timbo says:
        (link)

        @Jay:

        Thanks for the response jay;
In order to complete the trade Id have to drop a RB who would be the drop; forsett or gerhart?
Do you think with Bortles at QB it’ll help gerhart? lol the owner declined the trade for my forsett for his Hawkins would you try DMC for Hawkins?

  46. Mike says:

1/2 ppr league… I need to start 2 out of these 3 players. Who do I sit this week?

    Donald Brown
    Vincent Jackson
    Cordarelle Patterson

I’m leaning sitting Vjax vs Pit but Pit is without their top CB and Glennon usually looks for VJax a lot… Not sure what to expect from Patterson with Bridgewater at an but it can’t be worse than Cassel right?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Mike: Coin flip with Jackson and Brown… I’d sit Brown.

      • Mike says:
        (link)

@Jay: I like how u think. Love browns matchup but he’s a middling talent to me. Low upside play I guess compared to VJax, Patterson.

        • Jay

          Jay says:
          (link)

@Mike: Yeah, go for the homerun here.

          • Mike says:
            (link)

@Jay: agreed. One more question for you… If we get no guarantee Charles starts on Monday night by Sunday would u plug in Donald Brown over him on Sunday or wait and pray on JC?

            • Jay

              Jay says:
              (link)

              @Mike: I’m leaning pray here.

  47. Bob bow says:
    (link)

One more for ya – need a flex for this week. .25 ppr?

Knile (Jammal practicing seems ok), McFadden or boy Blue ?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Bob bow: DMC, but let’s see how Charles progresses.

  48. Dan says:
    (link)

I’m an 0-3 team in need of a win in a 12 team non ppr league where only 4 teams make the playoffs.

My potential Wrs for Week 4 are Roddy WHite, TY Hilton, Greg Jennings and Allen Robinson

Would you trade the playing this week Roddy White for Steve Smith and Sammy Watkins?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Dan: I’d hold there. Steve Smith has been great, but Roddy can carry you with a good week. Let’s hope it’s this one.

  49. DomMattingly says:
    (link)

Have Bell and Alf for starters
    Backups are Greene and Pierce.
I have handcuffs of Sankey and Blount.
Do I drop Pierce for Crowell?
Or do I wait and see what happens to the 3 headed Raven first?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@DomMattingly: I would actually drop Blount for Crowell in that situation.

  50. NeedHelp! says:
    (link)

Have a chance to pick up Ben Tate off waivers. Should I drop any of the following guys for him or hold?

    K. Robinson
    M. Asiata
    A. Blue (own A. Foster)
    D. Williams
    L. Taliaferro
    C. Ivory

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@NeedHelp!: I’d drop Blue there for Tate.

  51. Wacha Wacha says:
    (link)

Hi Jay which side do you like better Sankey or CJ2K for Z Ertz?
Also who do you like better between Sankey and CJ2K?

    Thanks

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Wacha Wacha: I like the Sankey side. Right now, still like Johnson. Ask me again in a month, the answer might change.

  52. A Wesley Snipes Life says:
    (link)

even after falling a bit, you’re still in top 1/4 of fantasy qualifying writers. good work. IDP Kevin is really high too (i’m guessing there are less total IDP writers, but still good to have)

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@A Wesley Snipes Life: Yeah, interestingly enough, I didn’t move much from last weeks numbers, which were good for 33rd. I believe I went down only 0.4%? Seems there was a large movement of numbers around me. And Kevin is rocking it for IDP’s.

  53. Tom says:
    (link)

    Hey Jay

Standard/ Is it worth picking up Gordon? Here are my other WR. Thomas, Cruz, Ben-G-Man, and A. Robinson

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Tom: Yes. I don’t mind dropping Robinson there if you have to, but there has to be a RB there you don’t use…

      • Tom says:
        (link)

        @Jay: Hey Jay

Standard/ Is it worth picking up Gordon? Here are my other WR. Thomas, Cruz, Ben-G-Man, and A. Robinson

RB Murray, Ellington, Bradshaw, Matthews, Taliaferro

        • Tom says:
          (link)

@Tom: I could drop Cutler know, I have Ryan. But in wk 6 I would have to drop someone as Kelce has a bye.

          • Jay

            Jay says:
            (link)

@Tom: Yeah, then I would drop Robinson for Gordon and then adapt as your roster as you move forward.

  54. Scott says:
    (link)

Wow. Who would’ve thought the Giants would jump out to such an early lead?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Scott: A lot about that game was unexpected.

  55. Scott says:
    (link)

With Charlie Whitehurst playing for the Titans, does that change your ranking of Colts D?

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

@Scott: Certainly, and there will be a ranking update ready to go midnight PST Sunday morning reflecting those changes.

  56. Zandy says:
    (link)

Keep one as last bench spot – Rainey Crowell or Pierce? 0.5 ppr

    • Jay

      Jay says:
      (link)

      @Zandy: Pierce.
