I heard the other day that beer is on the decline in the United States. Over the past 5 years beer sales are down around 2.4% and a whopping 1.5% over the last year alone. More and more Americans are turning to spiked seltzer, canned wine and hard liquor these days. And I understand it. When my RazzBowl dreams were dashed on a dropped Will Fuller touchdown during week 13 Sunday Night Football, beer wasn’t strong enough to kill the pain. I was forced to turn to hard liquor—and hard drugs—to find momentary contentment.

But beer is not on the decline everywhere these days. Mike Beer’s of RotoViz came into the RazzBowl playoffs in first place and has held the lead for 5 of the last 6 weeks. This is a kind of dominance never seen before in the storied one year history of the RazzBowl playoffs! Will anyone be able to overcome the three headed Beers monster of McCaffrey, Cook and Henry? Adam Ronis of Fantasy Alarm and Nathan Marcum—the lone fan remaining in our championship bracket—intend to test Beer’s alcohol content and, and Beers’ fellow RotoViz’r Hasan Rahim lurks in 4th. Heath Cummings of CBS, Aaron Pagliaro of Fantasy in Frame, Danny Kelly of The Ringer and Greg Smith of 4for4 round out the rest of our 8 team RazzBowl Championship Bracket. Eight contenders enter and only five will advance, with one determined Wildcard Bracketeer making the leap into the final six for championship week 16.

Will Spiked Seltzer make a last minute move or is Beers destined to chug from the RazzBowl Championship Cup? Stayed tuned!

And don’t forget the life changing prizes on the line!

12 team 2 QB half PPR dynasty. gotta drop somebody in the next 8.25 hours (yahoo daily- tomorrow settings) if i want to play thielen tomorrow.
QB (2): mahomes, rodgers, tannehill (wow it’s nice to find somebody like this where you didn’t have to draft them, it’s RARE in this league, mahomes i drafted in the 1st round of his rookie year, also had held rosen for a long time), haskins
RB (2): kamara, ingram, ekeler, hyde, michel
WR (3): boyd, edelman, k.allen, j.gordon, watkins, ross
    TE (1): ertz, hollister
    2 regular flexes
    IR (2): thielen
    kicker (1): LAC kicker
    team D (1): PHI
    IDP flexes (4): d.davis, b.martinez, j.hicks, z.cunningham
    IR (2): j.adams

    1. could be hollister or one of the WR for drops (watkins or ross or j.gordon, but the upside on gordon probably makes him a not drop). the remaining FA TE’s though are rudolph and a bunch of crap (excepting i.thomas isn’t crap if olsen retires next year)

    2. guess continue to hold hyde (from volume) over all of these: c.thompson, gus the bus (but he has the handcuff value for ingram), d.lewis, pollard, mal brown, b.scott

Sorry, cutting it close to your deadline here…over in Spain.

      1) I’d lose Hollister
      2) I’d hold Hyde but wouldn’t argue with swapping him for Gus either.

      Good luck!

i was sick so fell asleep, but it turned out as long as i dropped somebody who hadn’t played yet and did it before thielen played (i did) i was able to do this today just before game times. pretty bad week though, rodgers, boyd, thielen, ekeler not doing much. hyde and michel do better than normal, both on bench.

in spain you can find pretty good but really cheap wine cheaper than food over there from what a friend told me.
